$2 worth of salsa
Seth D.

Better Mexican food at Chilis. Not the first self serve restaurant I've been to but definitely the worst. Wife saw them pour her margarita from a jug behind the bar and couldn't taste any alcohol. Paid $1.50 for chips and $4 for two of the smallest bowls of salsa I've ever seen and they didn't even remember to give it to us with the rest of our food. The worker who puts the food on the table where you get up and get it yourself was busy taking shots behind the bar. So we got up 4 times before eating to ask for help. Food was the equivalent of peewee-league ball park concession. Neither of us ate half our plates. Needless to say we will not be returning. I would give a zero star review if I could. The only thing separating this place from a crappy food truck is air conditioning.

The chips and salsa is both good and free. I like their salsa with it's unique richness but not too spicy. The service leaves a bit to be desired but they are attentive when it's not busy. The micheladas are my favorite and have just the right amount of each flavor. I would go again!

Bad cold stale tacos

Worst "Mexican" restaurant in the area. I grew up on the Texas Mexican border and can tell they have canned beans. Their rice was stiff and not thoroughly cooked. The only good thing was their cheese enchiladas which are impossible to mess up. The steak tacos were so tough, store bought tortillas that taste like plastic I asked for avocado and cheese. Avocado was expired and has yellow cheese, beans tastes sour. Save your $ and go anywhere else but here. Plus the servers were on their phone the whole time and no attentive to their customers at all. The salsa was also expired! It was lumpy and wouldn't come out the cup!

Enjoying the sound of laughter and jokes from the neighboring table.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool staff is friendly and your treated as if your a long time customer. They workers seem to enjoy great conversation and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is great, drinks are better and the environment is very clean, and for their prices it's 100% worth it.

food is always delicious. I normally get fish tacos, husband gets the California burrtIor, California fries, shrimp ceviche or beirra tacos.

Normally our favorite spot. Today was so bad. We both had a bad taste left in our mouth. Pretty sure the meat was old. Feel sick now.

Fun place for decent Mexican and a clean dining area. It's loud inside, so hard to hear if you're with a large group. Margaritas we're good!

Even when assessed using the relaxed standards one frequently must adopt when eating in communities…read morewithout a lot of dining options, this restaurant is pretty bad. We were a party of two, arriving during the weekday lunch rush: Upon entering, we stood there being ignored by the cashier until we finally initiated the interaction. Her response (without liking up): "Eating here? sit wherever you want." We did as we were told. For a while. Quite while. Finally, the waitress shows up. In her defense, she might have been the only waitress working in the place. We both ordered soup/sandwich combos. The gumbo was flavorful, but the broth is very thin. That is off-putting to some, but like I said, the flavor was there. The sandwiches took almost 40 minutes (40!) to appear, long enough that the waitress apologized twice for the delay. She also pointed out twice that the #1 I ordered took the longest to prepare of anything on the menu. It's a grilled turkey and cheese sandwich. Literally just sliced turkey and melted cheese... The restaurant's floor was uneven, with soft spots and broken tiles to the extent that it presents a hazard for elderly people. The bathroom had both black mold and an abundance of spider webs visible. The air conditioning was not able to keep up with the summer weather. It was unpleasantly warm in the dining area. I will not return here.
