I came through CV on my way home and was looking for something to eat. I searched Yelp and found…read morethis little truck with one single review, so I decided to check it out. The food here is great, and prepared by people who genuinely want to take care of you and give you an enjoyable meal. There's a selection of fresh veggies on the back counter which are cut and added to each meal with love and care. They even gave me conversation and a glass of fresh made Jamaica while I waited. I ordered Sopes with Carne Asada, which were freshly prepared, and a grilled chicken burrito which was packed full of flavor! I would recommend them to anyone. Don't be fooled this little food truck has BIG FLAVORS!!! They even have a seating area setup with Al Pastor roasting, if you don't want to take your food to go. 10/10 will be back asap

The owner and his partner were so friendly and you could see they put their heart into their food. They have a tortilla press inside the small stand and you could see the freshly prepared masa waiting to be made into tacos and sopes! We also tried agua fresca and you can taste the freshly puréed melon. Highly recommend. And get the jalapeño sauce even if you don't like spicy because it's really good.

Food: Al Pastor Taco - good, generous amount of meat, topped with diced onions, cilantro, and salsa verde, the al Pastor had good flavor, wish there was a bit more char and pineapple but pretty tasty, corn tortilla was excellent, soft and pliable with nice toasted corn flavor Carne asada - very good, perfectly cooked steak that was tender with a char from the grill, also topped with onions, cilantro and salsa verde, same great corn tortilla, favorite of the proteins that we tried Suadero - okay, brisket was a bit dry and had the shredded texture reminding me more of carnitas, same toppings as the other taco, generous portion of meat, this one benefited from an extra squeeze of lime juice and some salsa roja from the salsa bar Service was solid, order at the truck window grab a number and wait for your corder to be called. Wait for our food was about 10-15 minute. They do have a topping and salsa bar with two types of salsa, limes, radishes and cucumber. Overall really enjoyed Tacos Gonzales, more of a 4.5 star overall, food was flavorful and freshly prepared. The carne asada was some of the best I've ever had in the bay area.

Been to the Walnut Creek location and fell in love so my expectations were high for this spot!…read more Cool looking truck in a parking lot with plenty of parking next to a convenience store. I ordered a spicy chicken sando with Mac and Cheese and the side and the sando was EXCELLENT. Chicken Sando 10/10: Bread was soft and sweet, chicken was cooked perfectly all throughout which made it super soft and easy to eat. Wasn't messy at all. Definitely would order again Mac & Cheese 2/10: The seasoning on the Mac wasn't really good or there, it tasted almost watered down if I could put it into words? but the noodles were pretty good nevertheless. Wouldn't order it again unless it was cheesier and less bland? I'm sure it was just a one time thing though maybe with this batch. Parking 10/10 (not sure about busier hours) Service: 10/10 as well, the guys here are really nice and have great attitudes Food: 8/10

Sheesh, scary stuff and that was it for da ohana. My work team, on the other hand, still likes to go. Love the fries, that spice they use is kickin' and the sando is mouth watering. My big complaint is consistency. Order the medium every time and getting the right heat experience is almost like going fishing. Sometimes it's mild and chill, other times it's a scorcher, and once in a while, you smile and feel they got it right. For me that is key, I need to know what I am getting and they get it right maybe 30 percent of the time. For baseball, that is a decent ERA, but for food, nah that's not right. And then, every now and then, someone else gets there first and picks up our order. Not real big on the apologies or making sure peeps picking up the right bags. Cool lookin' truck, good food, when they get it right, and when our order is actually there for pick up, but miss the mark a bit too often.

The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. It's hands down my favorite taco spot. My only complaint? When it showed up, it was loaded with bacon, ham, pineapple, chicken, pork and more! It was a beast of a sandwich! To maintain my beauty (??) in the presence of the beast, I only ate about a third of it. The rest of it was just fine reheated later on. Grillaz Gone Wild has fun takes on the BBQ sandwich, and does them well. They sure do not skimp on ingredients! The food truck staff was fun, friendly and gave helpful hints about the items on offer. They serve the classic cheesesteaks, but I think that they stand out for their unique interpretations of the classic sandwiches. The Flying Pig. Does it intrigue you? The pepper steak sandwich was stuffed with hot cherry peppers and the ribeye meat was pretty dry. There wasn't enough American cheese on it. The loaded fries were a good portion. The fries were lightly seasoned with all seasoning salt. They were crispy. However, it was smothered in too much cheddar cheese and scallions. There wasn't much bacon on it and the ribeye meat was in large pieces which didn't make it as enjoyable. A little pricey for what it's worth as we spent ~$26 on 2 items. :/
