First of all it smells wonderful in here. And the coffee and pastries are absolutely delicious. Great music, great atmosphere. High energy too, as the line is always out the door but I promise it moves fast. Will definitely come back!

Very popular cafe in soho. The place was packed on a late thursday afternoon so I can only imagine what peak hours are like, plan on standing or taking your stuff to go. The staff that takes orders seemed really enthusiastic, very personable so that's always nice. Overall I've really only heard good things from people I know who frequent here a lot. A must try is the cardamom bun, but the almond and chocolate croissants are very good too. No complaints, I would come back.

Cute aesthetic place - reminds me a bit of Japan. Matcha is pretty good. The baristas here have good attitudes. Line was a bit long - I probably waited about 20 minutes or so?

Coffee was great! The line was semi-long on a Sunday morning but we were prepared for a small wait. The coffee itself was very good - I ordered a cortado and my boyfriend ordered a drip coffee with a dash of oat milk. Getting our order seemed a little chaotic as we had to ask the barista which ones were ours and there was *some* confusion. It was $15 for two coffees post tip, so it ain't cheap. The vibe inside is great for meeting with friends and is very modern. Although, I will caution you: it is challenging to get a seat. It's a decent spot for a pick-me-up or sweet treat.

This coffee place must be very popular, because they made a line outside, like if you're on line for a popular club to get in. I must have come at the right time because there was no one standing on this line when I showed up. When I stepped inside I actually didn't really know where the line to order was because you just had people standing to the left and right of me just chatting and some were sitting at small tables with friends, others alone sipping coffee and eating. When I figured out where to order from I ordered a cardamom latte and a cardamom bun. It was something I've never had before and was excited to try it. The latte reminded me of a chai latte just with a more intense flavor. Along with the bun that was its own star, it all went really well together. I will definitely pick up more of those buns in my future. I also got a strawberry and toasted milk choux, but the time I made it back home it wasn't a pretty picture to take. All the strawberry center on top had spilled out into the bag. It had the texture of a really soft cookie and after breaking it in half, I actually was not a fan. Although the fruit filling inside was tasty the rest of the cookie was just too mushy and wet for me. Not sure if it was even a cookie but that's what it reminded me of. I wouldn't purchase it again. My overall experience did turn out to be a good one. I would definitely like to stay in on my next visit. It had the busy coffee house vibe where you go to enjoy company and definitely not to go catch up any office work, it was very busy and quite noisy. I will definitely be back for that latte and bun again. Two thumbs up! Happy Yelping!

Beautiful atmosphere - lighting, teapot, teacup. Server was very nice- recommended soba tea which is caffeine-free. Cardamom bun was a tad too sweet for me.

So fire. We came here every morning on our NYC weekend trip. It was walking distance from where we stayed, and we just really loved it our first time so decided to stick with what we love. The pastries are good, the cold brew is good, the matcha is good. They're all really high quality. We have pretty high standards and these didn't disappoint. I think it says a lot when you're in NYC and have literally a million new places to try, but just keep coming back to a spot. Very solid and delicious. Would 10/10 recommend when in NY. Line was out the door when we came. Moved fairly quickly. Service was good. They definitely know what they're doing in there. Vibe inside is small but clean.

Top notch coffee spot and cafe. Not sure if need to rave and review any more than all the yelp and google reviews folks have already posted. Verdict - for this spot, just follow the review like a sheep without questions and you won't regret

Came in for a latte and an Americano, it was yummy. There was a long line but we managed to get a seat. The staff are very serious about their work. Cute spot.

The espresso here is very great, definitely above average for coffee shops in the city. Selection of pastries was great, the canele was delicious. A bit crunchy

The cardammom bun is a must order!! Truly is the best I have ever had! The coffee isn't my favorite personally but it's still good. My friend has gotten their hot chocolate and also really liked it! The service is always very nice and quick. There is a lot of space in the coffee shop with some seating - some table and some bar seating available. I came on a weekend and it was absolutely packed so there was no where to sit and I have also been right around when they opened and it was still busy but were able to get a table about 20 minutes once we arrived. I wouldn't expect finding a seat but you can definitely get lucky, and regardless highly reccomend!!

I get the hype. To be clear - this review is specifically for the La Cabra in the Soho location. The vibe is novel. It's modern but warm. Seating was tough to find, but I made it happen. Great presentation and quality coffee. Croissant texture was notable. Flavor was expected (not exceptional). Am eager to try their other pastries. Loved the staff and culture they had going.

Ok. let's begin with the space....8.5/10. One of the nicer coffee shops in Brooklyn. Great for dates, catch ups, and people watching. Having more working space would be nice...I didn't go upstairs so the working space magic might have been up there. Service is great. 9/10. Baristas find you and bring your drink to you. No one is yelling out your government name for the world to hear. Now to the coffee...it was okay. 8/10. By no means i'm I a coffee snub but it wasn't anything I couldn't get in another coffee shop. One of the coffee snubs can check me on this after reading.

Small shop, great service, excellent drinks, & tasty treats!…read more Of the two drinks, the black sesame latte was by far one of the best lattes I've had in a while (granted I have had a latte in a while...). If texture doesn't bother you (liberal amount of black sesame!), I'd suggest getting this latte (10/10). Both pastries were great in their own right. For my second matcha of the day, this matcha was like your everyday/average matcha. Can't go wrong, but it wasn't mind-blowing. If you're in the Theatre District, I'd definitely recommend popping in for a drink & a treat!

I had seen their cute pastries online and wanted to check them out. We got the items above and a few coffees. The cakes are cute. Tho not as light and fluffy as I was expecting. I thought they'd be more like the asian bakeries we have back in SF. Not as sweet as american desserts, but it was kinda in between. The egg sandwich I really wanted to like since I've been craving one. But the it was sooo dry. Definitely needed more mayo. And the bread wasn't very fluffy either. Cute spot if you want cute desserts. Tho I think they are more geared towards posting on socials. REVIEW #3999

There is some counter space, but mainly for standing purposes. I ordered a standard Iced Matcha Latte with Oat Milk ($7.35) and my friend got her usual Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte ($8). Docking 1/2 point bc the matcha is pre-made. I'm a fan of the whisking process bc I do believe there's a craft to matcha overall. Surprisingly, my drink tasted fine and my bev was a good color, so I was pleasantly happy. We waited less than 10 min for a table to open up, but you have to be there at the right time, otherwise you prob just grab your drink + go. Overall, glad I tried Kijitora. It's not my first matcha choice, but it was decent for a standard matcha latte. Their specialty matcha drinks look to have mixed reviews, but I'm personally not a fan of sweet drinks.

The tote bags were so cute but they were kind of pricey in my opinion. A standard beige Kijitora bag was priced for $30 each! They had several designs for sale. I was just busy checking out the cool cat merchandise while I was waiting in the long line to purchase the matcha drinks. The line was exceptionally long! It was worth the hype though! When I was my turn, I got an iced strawberry matcha latte and an iced mango matcha latte. It was so pretty when I got them. The mango and strawberry paste were sitting at the bottom of the matcha latte. I had to stir and mix the fruits with the whole drink. Surprisingly it was not sweet at all and was just right! They made it in a way that wanted you to crave more of it. It was very addicting. I did not get onigiris this time but will be sure to get some next time I'm here. They were just $4 each for miso salmon, tuna mayo, mentaiko cod roe, sukiyaki beef, and chashu pork. What a decent price for one onigiri! I would definitely be sure to get the miso salmon next time I'm here. The place was very cute with nice little tables for individuals. The place was very cozy with lots of sunlight coming in. Very modern with plants all around. It was so loud with people talking over each other. There were too many people on a Sunday afternoon so I had to walk around or cut through people to get my way. It was that crowded. I also didn't expect this place to be on the second floor and the stairs to be that steep. It was hectic carrying my stroller upstairs. Luckily someone helped me get down! The stairs are very narrow so I had to hold onto the rail. It was not ergonomically friendly at all.
