Comfortable and spacious brunch place. I really enjoyed my poached egg with labneh and cherry tomatoes. It felt light and refreshing, yet pretty filling. I tried a small piece of my friend's fried chicken and was juicy and tender. Surprisingly, the restaurant was rather quiet for a Saturday brunch! It definitely deserves attention.

During the quarantine, if you order before noon for 25$ or more and live 5km away, they deliver the food for you. We enjoyed their fresh baguettes, croissants and tried the tasty lemon pie and maple mille feuille dessert.

This place is awesome. Love the light atmosphere and all the food I tried was outstanding. You can grab bread and pastries or you can sit down and enjoy a meal. I sat down for a meal. I tried a variety of things, each of which was played beautiful and tasted good. Sadly, I can't remember the names of everything I tried.

Service was not good, seating was limited and food was very ordinary. I'm not coming back here anytime soon. I do not recommend this place

The Long Version: My husband and I were driving from Ottawa to Laval and stopped by this bakery to grab a snack. Everything looked delicious, but we settled on a raspberry cannolo and a chocolate lobster tail pastry. They were $5.95 each. The raspberry cannolo was tasty. The shell was crunchy and the filling was a ricotta cheese filling with raspberries. The lobster tail pastry was even more delicious. One end was dipped in chocolate and crushed hazelnuts. The pastry was rich and flakey and the filling was a creamy chocolatey custard. The lobster tail pastry was larger and I feel it was more bang for our buck. They had lots of pastries including Napoleons and croissants. I had a chuckle when I saw that they had the French-Canadian pastry called Pets de Soeur because it translates to Nun's Farts. Lol. It's spiraled pie dough with butter and sugar. I'm actually not a fan of the taste, but I find the name hilarious. Anyway, they also have breads and pizzas, as well as savoury items like Arancini and Calzones. Staff were pleasant. I would love to return to try other items. They have free parking on-site. It's diagonal parking, and the lot is a bit narrow, so a little difficult to maneuver if the lot is full. Worth the hassle though. Review #100 (2025)

The Long Version: My husband and I stopped by Pâtisserie Jouri on the way home to Ottawa to pick up some pastries for my parents. It was one of two bakeries on our way back and was definitely the best bang for our buck. I got 3 pastries. They were $3.25 each and were gigantic. They were more than twice the size of pastries at other places. I got a raspberry almond croissant, an almond croissant and a pear and custard Danish. The great thing about getting my parents food is that they always offer to share it with us, so getting them food is like getting ourselves food. Haha. I had a small taste of each pastry and they were delicious. Very fresh and flakey. The pear and custard Danish was my favourite, but the others were good too. The croissants had a good amount of ground almond filling. There wasn't too much raspberry filling in the raspberry one, but that's ok because it kept it from being too sweet. Service was efficient. The decor is pretty with faux leather benches and funky light fixtures. Really nice place for a dessert date. There is free parking in front of the bakery, but it's just one row of parking and the street, which is very busy is behind you/in front of the bakery. So it's a bit of a pain to maneuver, especially if adjacent spots are occupied. Review #98 (2025)
