This work was to be completed by 12\10\19. I called Otis on 12\11\19 asking when the work would be completed. He said he did not know! On 12\13\19, Otis and crew returned cutting down and removing one tree but not the stump. I called Otis asking him when he would complete the work. Otis cursed me out and said that he is not making any money and that he WON'T BE BACK!!! On 12\5\19, I gave Otis 1\2 of the contract amount, $1,600. The total amount of the contract was $3,200 and the work was supposed to be completed on 12\10\19, according to the contract.

The job was delayed, communication was poor throughout, and my property was damaged. The crew also left the work in an unacceptable condition as a completed job before I had to request them to correct the horrible planting (see photo). What professional company would leave a job like this? What's most frustrating is that I simply requested a $250 refund (about 20% of the total cost) to cover the damage. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, I was put through an unnecessarily difficult process. I ultimately paid the full invoice just to move on. This company used to provide reliable, high-quality service, which is why I stayed with them for so long. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. I'm willing to pay for quality--but based on this experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere and suggest you do the same.
