Agreed to the price but it would be more than a week before he could get to it. I agreed to wait but I was hoping to have it done sooner. He said he would try but no guarantee. The next afternoon he called and said he could do it on Saturday but that it would be early morning. He knew I was in a hurry to have it done and I really appreciated the extra mile he took to accomodate my schedule. They arrived a little early and proceeded to get the job done in a couple of hours. Great job, very professional and hardworking. So glad to have gotten his recommendation from a neighbor who had used his company a while back. Thank you Jim for a job well done.

Hired Ginkgo Landscaping to remove a tree in my yard that was damaged by storms we had. Two large…read moresections of branches had come down prior to them arriving. It took about 2 to 3 weeks from the time I called for them to get here, but they at least responded to my inquiries. Sent me a quote and told me that with the way, the schedule was, they were quite busy, which is understandable as all businesses were. They gave me a date to do the job however, when the second section a tree came down, I called them again and someone came out and cut the sections that had fall into the ground up to hauled it away and then came back to do the tree. They did the tree cut it down and I also had one of the trees in the front yard trimmed to get rid of low hanging branches that were close to the roof line. They didn't grind the stump down because although we discussed having Julie come out and mark the ground beforehand, they did not arrive before the scheduled date for the tree to be removed, and I was not comfortable having the grinding done without the ground being marked off. So the tree was removed down to as far down as possible, and the tree in the front yard was trimmed. They kept me a prize of when they were coming via text message two days before their arrival and gave me a time that they would be here so far, they've been very responsive. Their price was fair and the work was done very well. They left the yard very clean with no remnants of anything laying around. All debris was cleaned up and hauled away. I don't know when the stump grinding will happen as we are waiting on Julie and then I'm not sure when that'll be scheduled but so far they have been exceptional with the work they have performed and I would hire them again for any similar work I would need in the future. Or recommend them to friends or family looking for a company to do this type of work. The only reason I did not give them five stars was because we haven't completed the stump removal, but I'm pretty sure that once that is completed, I will update this and it will be changed to a five star review.

They worked closely with me to help bring my vision to life, creating gorgeous flower beds, charming pathways and entry areas, retaining walls with beautiful capstones around my deck and patio, and a fantastic fire pit area for entertaining. They also helped solve a backyard drainage issue by rerouting my sump pump discharge to the front yard, planted beautiful low-maintenance annuals that I was able to choose myself, and finished everything with mulch and clean live edging. I had to call lighting company to come back out and repair the same light again. I called numerous times left messages for 2 months. No response. Nothing. I sent photos they requested when they broke the first 2 lights and finally sent them copies of my bill which was 340.00 for the repairs, asking for at least a courtesy call. No response. Many are not happy here with their service as the weeds along the curb are seriously out of control on the whole property and it goes into the lawn about 12 - 18 inches of weeds, amongst many other issues. I don't believe they sprayed for weed control as the mulch went right over all the weeds in the beds. This is their first season working for us and many residents are extremely disappointed.
