Hired Ginkgo Landscaping to remove a tree in my yard that was damaged by storms we had. Two large…read moresections of branches had come down prior to them arriving. It took about 2 to 3 weeks from the time I called for them to get here, but they at least responded to my inquiries. Sent me a quote and told me that with the way, the schedule was, they were quite busy, which is understandable as all businesses were. They gave me a date to do the job however, when the second section a tree came down, I called them again and someone came out and cut the sections that had fall into the ground up to hauled it away and then came back to do the tree. They did the tree cut it down and I also had one of the trees in the front yard trimmed to get rid of low hanging branches that were close to the roof line. They didn't grind the stump down because although we discussed having Julie come out and mark the ground beforehand, they did not arrive before the scheduled date for the tree to be removed, and I was not comfortable having the grinding done without the ground being marked off. So the tree was removed down to as far down as possible, and the tree in the front yard was trimmed. They kept me a prize of when they were coming via text message two days before their arrival and gave me a time that they would be here so far, they've been very responsive. Their price was fair and the work was done very well. They left the yard very clean with no remnants of anything laying around. All debris was cleaned up and hauled away. I don't know when the stump grinding will happen as we are waiting on Julie and then I'm not sure when that'll be scheduled but so far they have been exceptional with the work they have performed and I would hire them again for any similar work I would need in the future. Or recommend them to friends or family looking for a company to do this type of work. The only reason I did not give them five stars was because we haven't completed the stump removal, but I'm pretty sure that once that is completed, I will update this and it will be changed to a five star review.

The guys were very professional and careful to remove this tree with no damage to my property or my neighbors property. They had to drive their truck with snorkel between my house and my neighbors house to get to the back yard where the tree was located. They put down plywood to protect the ground from damage. They cut down the tree and removed all the branches in one day. They came back the next day to remove the stump. They cleaned up the area of all debris and I was more than satisfied with the results. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family. They had the best price of all the places I received a quote from. The owner was very easy to work with.

Also my wife knows for fact that this week they were doing work in Orland Park which is the town I live in. Because of this we had to start looking for another company all over again. Would not recommend them since they do not honor their bids.

The first year they overcharged the time they were here, and after a couple of months of calling, adjusted the price to the one hour they were actually here doing work. This year they charged the same amount so I assumed they overcharged the time they worked. Wrong! They reported that there were 3 men doing one hour of work. Both years I kept track of time spent and men present and this past year I had one hour of work done by 2 men. If you hire this company, be present for the work, record time and maybe take a picture of how many people are working (even though that's creepy). This year is our last year of working with Groundskeeper.
