Brian and his crew came to my home on two occasions; once to remove a large maple tree that was infected with carpenter ants in the parkway; the other time to remove four bushes from the front and from the side of my home. I was more than satisfied with the professional and hardworking nature of the crew that performed the work. Cutting down the humongous tree along a busy street was no easy task but it was done quickly and safely and tree branches were chipped and removed from the premises and the stump ground. I was completely satisfied. They provided quality Service When removing my ugly bushes as well. I felt the price was more than reasonable and I recommend this business to everyone I know. Brian's tree service is affordable, clean, exacting, and prompt. We met on a Tuesday and the tree was cut down on a Thursday. That's really all we can ask for when it comes to something like this. The tree was stumped and his crew cleaned up the yard after everything was done, even taking branches that had fallen off the tree and landed in the yard. I asked around for a tree service and Brian's came highly recommended,, I called on May 10, 2019 and received a call back shortly, stating I would be contacted to set up an appointment for an estimate. Heard nothing. Called again in June , and received the same response, that I would be contacted. Guess what, no response. "I had the displeasure of meeting Brian who stated he was the owner of this company. I was in line at the grocery store after work when the large man in front of me started asking if I needed any trees removed. I kinda just looked at him like ummm no, I'm trying to buy groceries right now. He kept telling me he owns a tree service and he'd be happy to come to my house to give me a free quote. Idk what world he lives in but no woman is going to ok some random man to come back to her house from the grocery store... Like really? Even after telling him I didn't need his services SEVERAL times, he wouldn't leave me alone and proceeded to stand there while the cashier rang me up. He kept trying to talk to me and even followed me to my car still trying to get me to invite him back to my home. I asked him several times to please leave me alone which he seemed to constantly ignore. I would NEVER recommend this company but what I would recommend is not bring a creep to random women you don't know in public, that's definitely not the way you're going to get business. read more

Brian's Tree Service was as good as it gets as far as price wise goes! My tree was situated between power lines, phone lines, a fence, and two houses... which made quotes hard to come by at a reasonable price. Economy Tree Service asked for $4,000 for the tree... but if I went with them now, they will cut me a deal and do it for $3,000... but it does not include the stump. Both Briggs & Howard Tree Service were a lot more reasonable at between $1,400 - $1,800 each with the stump ground down. Brian's Tree Service quoted me (for the same tree) $1,000... and that included taking away the stump! They came in, took care of it all, and ground it down all within the same day. No issues. They even put the fence back up that was taken down so they could get in! Very nice workers. I definitely would recommend everyone to at least get a quote from them. read more

I had Brian's Tree Service remove a tree for me 7/4/2013. Brian himself came out and gave me a written estimate on 7/2/2013 and put in writing all that would be done, I still have the written estimate to this day. Approved the job and 2 days later tree was removed and stump removed, even on early day of the 4th of July, great service. Fast forward to 5/2019, call to have some more work done. Said someone would be out for estimate, never once did I see a person come to house and I was home all day, then I get a voicemail at 7pm telling me how much it would be to remove branches away from house. I called back asking that I needed someone actually out here to speak to about a estimate. Never called or showed back up. Guess I will be going with someone else. read more

I was minding my own business trimming one of my trees and the Brian's Tree Service truck rolls up and asks me if I would like a quote. He was very persistent and I finally let him give me one even though I would not consider having the trees removed until the spring. Once spring came I gave them a call and they wanted to come out and re quote the job. I explained I already have one from the fall and it was good for a year according the the print on the quote that was signed by a current employee. After they came out for a re quote the price went from 1800 to 3800 for the same exact work. He refused to come down even after I faxed him the signed quote. I called the town of Highland (which was zero help) and filled a complaint with the BBB. I want to cover all of my bases and decided I should also put it Yelp. read more

I spent a lot of time finding someone to cut down a big maple tree that was too close to our house and Brian's was by far the most reasonable. The guys at the house did a fantastic job and were very detail-oriented. One guy even told me where I can go for free firewood as I am building a fire pit where the tree was. When they left you would have never known I had a huge tree removed and a front yard covered in tree branches as they left it so clean (good job Tony). We called Brian's Tree service out to cute down our 14 arborvitae trees. They gave us an extremely reasonable quote and came out as soon as possible. We didn't have the trees stumped at the time, deciding later to have that done, they came out the same day we called them about stumping and did the job thoroughly, cleaned up and now you'd never know we had those terrible trees on our property. We also had them remove a very large oak tree within 4 feet of our above ground pool, which they again did within a few days of our phone call, at the best price we were quoted and without incident. I was quoted $975 to remove a tree from my back yard. I was told to remove the fence adjacent to the tree prior to removal. When the crew arrived to remove the tree, I was informed that the job was underbid and that I would need to pay an additional $325. They refused to do the work for the estimate that I was given. They would not honor their own quote. Save yourself the agrivation and do not do business with this company. Ended up tearing out my fence for nothing. read more

I was extremely pleased with Brian's Tree Service. The workers took down 2 large trees over power lines and phone and internet lines using a bucket truck without dropping any branches on them. The largest tree was over our garage and the corner of our house. The cuts were done precisely and nothing hit our garage or house. The workers were very easy to work with and cleaned up wood chips and branches from the driveway and sidewalks without being asked. I paid the full amount before the final 10% of the work was done and they still finished promptly. Stumps were ground out to a good depth, not just below surface of the ground. Hands down the best tree removal service. I got numerous quotes from other buisnesses all wanted almost double the price. I had a fence and a deck to worry about branches falling down on and not a scratch. Trying to remove a tree during April also presented a challenge with the rain and Brians was the only service that would actually give a courtesy call to reschedule, other companies didn't even bother.
