I have visited three times. Two times were good. The first time i had an experienced waiter. He knew their menu and took orders quickly. Food was delivered tasty and quick. The two times that followed, service fell off each time. This last time My steak and eggs was over cooked. The retry was not very appetizing and almost raw, which I did not eat. I would Have taken it off my bill, but they only reduced bill 10%. Very disappointing. Plus, my daughter had hair in her crepe!! Better experience management and consistent cooks would seem to help and comp for not good food is just a good idea to keep customers. read more

This review is for the Gateway location, not the original one. As other reviewers have noted, this location is staffed with young, inexperienced staff. I ordered the Danish Crepes, listed on the menu as 4 crepes including Nutella and bananas but 2 crepes came with vanilla crème or yogurt. The waiter said the menu had a typo?! So they brought what they said should be ordered as Nutella crepes and they were soggy and gross with just a light drizzle of Nutella. His steak was grey and absolutely gross. Even after removing the crepes, the bill was $26 for the grey steak and two coffees. Will not dine here again, no way. read more

Had breakfast with our group of COMET...Cool Old Men Eating Together this past Friday. Experienced extremely long wait times. Noticed that the staff appeared very young and inexperienced. Got a couple of orders mixed up which resulted in several of our group being served after everyone was finished. No apologies or concern of any kind. Had to ask for more coffee several times before it was brought by a more seasoned server. Several of us asked for water which was never served. As we were finished one guest asked again for water and the server asked him if he wanted it to go!! Food wasn't bad but took far too long to be served. One observation, the sausage links are of the brown and serve type and are not recommended. We all decided that there are much better options in our area and have taken this place off of our list. read more

Chose to have egg white omlet with mushrooms, spinach and a nice cheese sauce and a side of real hash, added a toasted english muffin..Thanks to our very nice waitress who suggested the perfect eggwhite combo..she also suggested to "Try" the 1/4 Peruvian chicken dinner..wrong choice ..need the whole chicken size next time..had plantains and the yucca were absolutely perfect with the chicken ..Thank You,Ms Sabrina for making sure our meal was hot and good and the "cawfee" pot was still full..hope to see "You" on our next trip to Winchester..oh and yes this was actually a comfortable and clean to sit and relax to enjoy... I live in the area and decided to give this place a try today. Being married to a Peruvian and eating alot of Peruvian food I was hoping this place might be good option for my family. It's mainly a breakfast place a with a few Peruvian options. We tried the Lomo Saltado and a 1/2 a chicken. The chicken had good flavor but was a little on the dry side. It came with 2 sides. We chose the Yucca and fries. Sides were on the small side. The Yucca and fries were just ok . The Lomo Saltado looked good but the sauce which makes the dish was way off. It was not good just because of that. We also had the Nutella crepes with strawberries which was pretty good. On the bright side the breakfast menu has lots of options and from what I saw other people eating it looked pretty good. So I will go back to get breakfast one day to see how it is. Service was good and the place was fairly clean. Could be better. read more

Open venue with plenty of space and was exceptionally clean I believe the owners are Hispanic because there seems to be a bit of misunderstanding when trying to communicate. I had the T-Bone and 3 egg offer. Now I've had steak and eggs for breakfast at many restaurants over the years. If you have done the same thing you have most likely experienced the steak is 9 times out of 10 thin and sometimes full of fat and gristle plus it's difficult to have it made medium rare or medium. In addition the steak is not usually that tender and requires a steak knife to cut. I was so impressed that this T-Bone steak was larger than most breakfast steaks and in addition it was 1/2 inch thick. I ordered it medium and that is exactly how it was presented. No steak knife needed as this entire steak was easy to cut with a butter knife. No fat and just one tiny little piece of gristle. I just couldn't believe how damn tender this steak was. Three beautiful eggs sunny side up and sour dough toast. The only thing I might recommend is requesting no spices on the steak prior to cooking. I actually enjoyed it however not every body might agree. I will be returning as a regular customer. read more

I love that we finally tried this restaurant. It was well lit with lots of seating. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive (but not hovering). The food was delicious. BUT where this restaurant IS OUTSTANDING is their peruvian chicken. it is DELICIOUS! The breast was moist, the dark meat was flavorful. the spices they infuse is lovely. The yuca was cooked perfectly! crispy golden and soft inside. The plantains were TREMENDOUS! They were sweet, caramelized and cooked perfectly. Definitely will be back with the rest of our family!
