Even after I clarified my concern, your response still focuses on the idea that I wanted extra toppings rather than addressing the lack of consistency in the product I received. My feedback was about standardization and quality, not quantity. Acknowledging that and offering a simple apology would have been more appropriate than shifting responsibility to the customer. read more

I ordered at drive thru. It took awhile for them to make the food, but it was worth it. Loved their birria taco, elote, and lime drink. I was too full for the cheese quesadilla; it was covered with cilantro and pico which I didn't want. My husband ate it though. read more

Maybe the best burrito I've ever had!!! Atmosphere was great too! Corn on the cob delicious!

I got an order to go on the phone and for several tacos. N they asked if I wanted salsa only for 2 small ahh salsas. The torta comes with cheese it looks disgusting and big pieces of cheese read more

My favorite tacos in St George! Convenient location and friendly people, very authentic

Great place except prices are much higher than stated on their own website. $4 dollar difference then what their website claimed

Amazon food. Definitely recommend. We had a bean and cheese burrito, quesadilla se asada, fries, fresas con crema and mangonada. Everything was delish. The only thing was that the forgot and an item do we had to go back and for it. But other than that. All was good read more

Best carne asada burrito I have ever had!. I'm Mexican and have had many burritos in my life lol. On our way home from Brian head Utah we decided to stop at this place for some on the go lunch and I'm soooo glad we did. I don't understand the bad reviews but I'm here to leave a great one and to let all of you know that you better try those burritos lol. Service was fine and had no issues. Wish they were closer to home... at-least we will get to have them once a year since we go every year to Utah . read more

I love the food here so much. I exclusively go through the drive thru only and although it's slow it's completely worth every moment waiting. My definite, will never fail you and always taste amazing recommendations are Elote, Mangoneada, Carne Asada Fries, Quesabirria, and Fruta Preparada. read more

A more authentic taqueria vibe than I'm used to for Utah, not the full deal w/ pastor and lengua and that but it does have carnitas at least. And it really isn't bad either. The burrito is the meat-heavy style w/ pico and guac only, I actually prefer rice and beans and things in there but this is still good sometimes. Gotta take what you can get with the Mesoamerican meats these days I guess, it's harder than usual out there. read more

Great food and friendly service. The lengua, Chile relleno plate and enchiladas were all amazing. Food took about 10-15 minutes tops. Would definitely recommend trying this place. I'll be back for the agua frescas. Those looked really good, too! read more

I ordered a small pepihuate and1 quesabirria. I hade ate half of the quesabirra and decided to set it aside to try the pephihuates...well as soon as I took the 3rd spoon full I noticed this nasty bug in it!! Quickly called La Botana and asked to speak to the owner. Spoke to a young gal who said she could re-make the order for me or refund me. I said okay I'm actually already on my way and so she asked me to go through the drive through again as I did the first time. I'm pretty sure she didn't want anyone to know... Any how I get to the window and she asked what happened I told her she said "Can I just see it to confirm?" I grabbed a napkin & the spoon, then but the bug on the napkin and handed it to her. Like are you serious right now!? Do you need to try it too, so you know it's real?! She says "Yeah, its like a moth or something and has this disgusted look on her face and says "I'm sorry, we usually try to have things covered. Do you want a water or something?" UMMM NO, NOTHING FROM Y'ALL AGAIN. GROSS. I've been having a stomach ache and wouldn't wish this or any unhealthy food to anyone. read more

By far the best food we had in town. Great food and drinks, and it's fresh to order. The drive-thru can take a little while because it's fresh, so if you can't handle waiting for good food, then you don't deserve to eat at La Botana. read more

This was my first time visit to La Botana. I was looking to try some Birria tacos since I've never eaten them before and have heard many great things about them. I'll just say my taste buds were not disappointed! The beef was juicy and tender. The vegetables, fresh and crunchy. And the cheese, gooey and delicious!! I added the red salsa to my tacos because I like a little bit of spice with my Hispanic food, it paired very well with the whole dish but is also just as good without. I will definitely be returning for more but will be getting a larger sized meal as the two tacos were not enough to fulfill my appetite. 10/10 would recommend!! read more

Not too impressed. Could not eat the Elote it was tasteless and smelled old, color was not yellow but a pale yellow (cream color) Fresas con cream & piña drink were delicious. Will come back in hopes that it improves read more

I only eat at 4 and 5 star yelp reviewed places. But this place was recommended to us and we went. WE LOVED IT!! The Burria tacos are so good! We also had the corn on a stick - elote. Also amazing! Great hole in the wall place with locals who know where to go! read more

Legit Mexican place with good horchata and agua fresca. The esquites come with or without green chiles. There is a decent salsa bar. No complaints about the rolled tacos or street tacos. They also make delicious blended fruit drinks. Lots of locals and lots of speaking Spanish which, to me, is s a good indication that I'm gonna eat some delicious food. Yelp says they are open on Sundays, but alas, it is not. Counter staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend it for dine in or take out for sure. read more

The service was awful, the food was not authentic. I ordered tacos dorados and they where worse than taco Bell. My son ordered a corn and it took them almost 20 minutes to have it ready. read more

This place is the epitome of 'don't judge a book by its cover.' As we parked, my husband was actually leery about eating here. I showed him other people's amazing pictures, though, and said I had to try whatever the giant pineapple thing was. I ended up getting the half size based on the employee's suggestion and am super glad I did. I have no idea how someone could eat a whole one. The pineapple was cut in half and cored, then filled with spears of all sorts of fruits, some of which I'm not even sure what they were. Lol. There were even cucumbers! It was drizzled with this crazy unique sauce that seemed like strawberry with chipotle chili powder and/or cayenne. It was fruity, sweet, and unexpectedly spicy. I got it as my meal and it was way more than enough. It would actually be a great dessert to share with the table if you had a few people. read more

this place is so underrated and so good! closest thing to Mexico i would say. the food is delicious the workers were very nice and the atmosphere is amazing. read more

tostilocos are definitely NOT worth the money!! It's a major rip- off I asked for the hot sauce to be put aside so that it would not make the chips soggy by the time I got home, yet they still poured it all over. And to add that up, the pork rinds were cut horribly (super thick cut). I only got 4 pieces of cucumber. read more

Delicious Crisp Tacos My New Favorite Place for them. Staff was fast and friendly and place was clean

This place is special! It is soooo great 10/10 I love the birrilla tacos and fruit drinks.

Good burros I've had the carnitas and Carne asada several times and their both great I first heard about this place a nurse at the St George hospital recommended it to me and she was right they are good read more

So to start off, I found this place by accident. I was looking for the Taco Time across the street because I had limited time, and its closed. Went to La Botana, on their drive though. As of now, I have gone there 3 times and decided to come post a review because this is one of the great mexican places you are hoping to find! First off, its now the "Covid" epidemic and you can now only go through their drive through at this time. Because this was my 3rd time and I liked what I got before, I ordered 3 full meals with their rice and beans. Why did I order 3 meals.... because they are pretty large and one meal makes 3 meals for me and I freeze the rest for later! I ordered the Chimichanga, Asada, with rice and beans, the Chili Rellenos full meal, and the 2 Cheese Enchiladas full meal. The chimichanga is excellent, and the meat is perfect and all the stuffings are fresh and compliment La Botana's original recipe. The Chili Relleno is extremely large and is actually 2 chilis fanned out and layered with all the cheese and stuffings, like a lasagna recipe would be. This alone is 3 servings for me. The cheese enchiladas are exactly the way I like them to be also and are definitely like real Mexican cheese enchiladas. Their rice is different than most mexican restaurants. Its a fluffy white rice, very full of flavor but not over spiced and I especially like it this way to compliment all the other flavors they have packed in their recipes. I order the extra food, take it home, and divide it up on freezer/micro plates to reheat for later. When done this way, it comes out just like I got it from the restaurant! Their food is EXCELLENT! Their take out containers are large and they are the heavy duty aluminum ones with plastic lids, not just the plastic take out boxes. I've liked everything I've gotten from this place before and I will continue to go back! read more

They didn't understand english very well and we were trying to try something new. We got corn in a cup with all the good sauce and stuff not sure how it's spelled the Spanish way (eskeetay) is what it sounds like. read more

it's really a hit or miss with this place. some of their stuff is good but i feel like most of the time the food is mediocre and makes me nauseous after. none of the tables were wiped down after use, the owner was wearing his mask under his chin, and touched limes immediately after handling cash. read more

The food is good I go there all the time. But the last two times I have been there the old lady in the back comes out and start watching me fill up the sauce cups that is up in the front. This most recent time she came up to me and in Spanish told me that I could not take any more sauce. Now being a paying customer where there is no limit clearly stated that you can only take so many sauces when I only had six total seems a little bit ridiculous. And also being the only white person of non-Hispanic Dissent speaking English makes me feel like I am racially profiled which is completely horrible because this is the country I was born in I don't go to another country and treat the locals like that I will never eat here again simply for the fact of that old lady so if you want to keep customers going to your business maybe you should tell her to stop racially profiling people. read more
