A trip around the world and a walk down memory lane…read more It's been decades since I stepped foot inside the Buford Highway Farmers Market, and being back felt like a beautiful reunion. The last time I walked these aisles, I was with my mama, Donna Theresa. So much has changed since then, yet the soul of this place remains as vibrant as ever. It feels more expansive than I remember. A true global treasure tucked right here in the city. I'm still obsessed with how they organize the aisles by country. In just one afternoon, I traveled from Korea to Eastern Europe to Central America, no passport required! I was officially "team sample" the moment they offered! Unlike the heavy, sugary profile of traditional American cakes, these were a masterclass in balance. I tried the Neapolitan, a stunning phyllo-layered creation that was light, buttery, and perfectly textured. But the Lemon Cream Cake? It stole the entire show. It looked picture-perfect on the shelf, and the taste was even better. It was so bright, airy, and just the right amount of decadence. Coming back here wasn't just a grocery trip; it was a win for my palate and my heart. Now that I'm back in the area, you can bet this is becoming a regular stop on my rotation. I purchased a pack of tofu along with some other items on March 11. I open the fridge a few days later on March 15, finally ready to prepare the tofu, just to see that the exp date on the pack was March 10. This picture was taken March 15 upon this discovery. I meant to update this review a while ago. I just can't spend money here anymore knowing that I'm liable to accidentally purchase old products. As customers, we should not have to be this vigilant at a grocery store... it's ridiculous.

It's a large supermarket chain with deli, bakery departments, plus health, fuel center and beauty products. Kroger offers thousands of quality food and household products from your favorite brands and companies. From fresh produce, meats and seafood to dairy, home goods, fuel and pharmaceutical needs, Kroger is your one stop for savings and for your daily needs. This newly remodeled store is fantastic, very clean. All the staff are nice and helpful. I would definitely recommond this store for a visit if you are in the area. As is usual for a Kroger, the place was maintained clean and neat, well lit and stocked. I was able to go directly to the two items I needed, grab them, and go through self-checkout with no troubles whatsoever. This Kroger location also has gas pumps outside which makes is pretty convenient. The prices at this store are generally pretty competitive too so that's good. The only con is that there are not that many manned checkout counters and you have to use the self checkout version. They have a good selection of most other varieties of wines and beer, but yet their craft beer and can beer choices are very limited.

Upon entry, the warm smells of steaming sweet potatoes greets you! I think you can buy a bag & snack while you shop! I highly recommend eating BEFORE you go here, or you'll be tempted to buy a little bit of EVERYTHING! All the eastern Asian flavors and popular brands as well as the generics, Latin items, American staples, from fresh to frozen! The fresh seafood and hot deli items was cool. There were people stocking more things while I was there on a mid-Friday. The staff wasn't overly friendly, but they were around in case I had a question. There are cafe vendors and a dining area past the cashiers. They had Korean BBQ, hot dog on a stick, shave ice, & more. There's even a minimal area offering clothing and Korean skincare! For the kids (& the kid in you), there was an arcade including the Gacha games! Prices weren't outrageous and actually comparable to other international markets. Now that I know where I can get all my childhood delicacies, I'll be coming here often!!

Outside of the grocery side, there is a good size food court section and many cute boutique shops that sell skincare products, cute Asian items and clothing. Friendly service. Price is not any cheaper compare to the east cost Hmart, but quality is consistent. Large shopping center with ample parking. Highly recommend.

The customer service lady was like, "You didn't get this here?" Incredulous, like I purchased the mixing bowls from some far away land at some random store. I was like, "I got them at Kroger." She said they don't stock them at that Kroger I couldn't return them. She hollered at someone across the store, "She didn't buy them here and we don't stock them, can she return them?" And the person she yelled at said, "NO." I knew all this was wrong. I went up to another lady, who I hoped was a manager, and she said that they couldn't return them because they don't stock them and they have no where to put them. Still makes no sense to me. So I give up, and go get my groceries, when LO AND BEHOLD, an entire SHELF stocked with the exact same product. I won't go into the drama that ensued, but even after showing them they DO stock the item they tried to not return them. Eventually, a manager came over, and the person was like, "Can we return these even if we don't get credit from the store?" And the manager just was like, "Yes." It was twilight zone. It would have saved ALL of us tons of time if they just returned them in the first place.

This Kroger is 5 mins from my house very convenient for me , My favorite thing about Kroger is the deals they have and the special finds in the clearance area ( can't remember what it's called but it's a lane with mark down items ) . Kroger is open up till 11pm which is also awesome for late shoppers or last min shopping . This location is somewhat always kinda busy but not to a extreme just to where they can use a few more high school students to be on the register.

So much food here from fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy products, ice cream, snacks, and more. Customer service here was great. Nice and clean aisle. I have also tried the assorted cookies, mochi ice cream, ube pancake mix, umami crunchy rice crackers, and of course the famous everything but the bagel seasoning! From our new haul today we also got some frozen goodies; kimbap, naan bread, butter chicken curry dinners, Japanese Taiyaki,, Dutch griddle cakes, chocolate covered prezels, and other snacks. The employees here are just as nice and helpful as other locations. The people who bag groceries must have played some serious Tetris as kids because they are highly skilled at fitting an extraordinary amount of things into as few bags as possible. We bring our own shopping bags but if the haul is bigger than what we can accommodate, it's good to know that we won't be going home with a million plastic bags but maybe 1-2 sturdy paper bags that can be reused or recycled.
