I continue to come here and each time I question why. I guess it's because of the convient location, however I could drive to Lexinton and back in the time it takes this place. I've waited over an hour sometimes. It doesn't matter if it Monday afternoon or Friday night, they never have enough staff. My last experience, two people that signed in after me had their nails nearly done by the time they started on mine. Plan on a normal wait time of 30 minutes to an hour. I'm not in the area or Georgetown very often, but I found myself here one Saturday and in need of a fill-in. It's one of several nail salons in GTown, but this one is near the Kroger. The last fill-in that I had done elsewhere was way too thin, so one had broken at the tip and two of had lifted which is common when you get close to needing a fill-in. The gentleman here said that I would need to pay extra for three corrections in addition to the fill-in price, so he recommended soaking off the acrylic and going with SNS... since the price after the corrections would be around the same price. That's the only thing that I didn't like about my experience. SNS wasn't what I really wanted and I've never been charged extra for such minor corrections. I will say that even though SNS is much more expensive than a basic acrylic fill-in, it lasts much longer. Not only did the SNS stick to my nails without breaking or lifting, the obviousness of the growth was much less. read more

They were so busy but they took care of all seven of us anyway in a very timely manner. So nice and polite and professional. I've been a faithful customer of LaBelle since they opened. I've never had a problem. But today, February 26, 2019 I had the worst experience ever. The man doing my nails first cut [the length of] my nails after I REPEATEDLY ASKED HIM NOT TO. Then, he cut my skin/nail bed not one but THREE SEPARATE TIMES. And told me it was because I pressed the home button on my phone to check to time, then proceeded to charge me for his terrible work. I was extremely upset to tears because it is/was the day before my birthday and I was getting them done for the occasion. No one would let me speak to a manager or anyone with any real authority. If you visit, ask for Lei (pronounced lie). His attention to detail is worth waiting if you needed. I've visited twice before my review to make sure it wasn't a fluke. The entire staff is friendly. It's clean. I was there during their shut down process and they clean EVERYTHING! Best thing is their chairs are in great condition. No lumpy, sagging, non working chairs. Came with a friend after working out the other day. They were incredibly busy for it only being 11am but they assured us it would only be 15-20 minutes of waiting before they got us in. That was the case indeed though. They are the largest salon in Georgetown I believe with the most pedicure areas and they are staffed accordingly. I went to what is now called T-Nails for the first time today. I asked for SNS with tips. I went in and within 5 mins Lena was working on my nails. She was very nice & did a beautiful job! This nail salon, now named T Nails, is excellent! I just moved to Georgetown and have been looking for a new nail salon. The staff is friendly, fast, and professional, and the services are reasonably priced. I walked in during the afternoon while they were pretty busy and only had to wait 5 minutes. My SNS turned out great. The procedures they practice to protect clients and staff against COVID are top notch -- plexi shields between client & nail tech, masks for all, social distancing, hand sanitizer, and cleaning after every service. But when I got the fill in l here it chipped and looked awful after a week, mine usually last 3-4 weeks. When I asked if they could do a touch up they said no I would have to pay to redo it. The work is generally acceptable with you pointing out what you need fixed, you can get out with a pretty good look. However, they have no idea what time management is and that people have lives. I sign in and it's going to be 25 min. They said I could go to Kroger's and they would hold my spot. I come back and you guessed it, waited another hour. I don't think this place is up to par on customer service. They would benefit from allowing appointments instead of making everyone wait and lying to them on time. I have been here a couple of time, usually during the week after 5pm. I have never had to wait too long. The service is pretty basic and I have been pleased with the pedicure and manicure I received. I usually opt for a basic manicure with no nail color. I have them buff my nails to a shine because no matter where I go the color doesn't stay on long and I don't have the dedication to go to a nail salon weekly for upkeep. I went in last Saturday to get a gel manicure. I had never been to this location before and read good reviews so though I would give it a try since I work in Georgetown. I got there and waited about 15 minutes and then got sat, the tech looked as though he couldn't be older then 18 years old but I didn't say anything. We start with the manicure and he starts cutting my cuticles so far down they started to bleed. I had had this happen before but never had someone continue until I had to ask him to stop. He completed the gel manicure and it didn't look great but I was in a hurry so I left. After getting home I looked and there were little bubbles all over every single nail. I didn't think it was a huge issue until 3 days later they start to chip. I didn't pay $40 for my manicure, that is supposed to last 14-20 day mind you, to chip after less than a week. I called today to see if they would be able to repair them, and they tell me to come on in free of charge. They didn't have the color I got before so I chose another, the tech I got told me there was nothing wrong with my nails and I didn't need them fixed. He went ahead and did the redo but wasn't gentle at all and was very rude to me. When I get up to leave I hand the tech $10 and proceed to start out the door. He calls in from of everyone "Hey Lady you need to pay for that" considering I was under the impression that it was covered under the original price I paid, I was mortified. He then charged me $20 for the repair, so I am now out $60 for a sub par gel manicure. Needless to say I will be returning to my old salon in Lexington and will NEVER visit La Belle again. read more

I do not typically leave negative reviews, but after 4 trips to this salon with mediocre or worse results, I feel obligated. I will say that the salon is always clean and staff if usually friendly. However, each and every mani/pedi I have received has been subpar. Yesterday, I scheduled an appointment, was taken back promptly (which I appreciate) but was then rushed through both services. I had to ask for an additional coat of polish on my toes, as the coverage was clearly not sufficient with standard 2. I will spare you pictures of the bottom of my feet, but upon leaving the salon I still had dry patches and areas of peeling skin. The pedicure was the highlight of the visit, unfortunately. The manicure was a complete waste of my hard earned money. They did not push back or trim my cuticles (went through the motions, but were not effective) and the polish doesn't even reach the overgrown remaining cuticle. Additionally, layers of polish are uneven resulting in jagged lines across the bottom of each nail. I had these services performed in preparation for vacation. I called to ask what the options were to make this right and the only option I was given was to come in immediately or sometime today and have nails repolished (not manicured), which my schedule does not permit. I will not be returning and would suggest that you take your business elsewhere if you expect good work. read more

There is one guy in particular that has anger issues. If you tell him you don't like something he makes and excuse and gets angry. He will begin rolling eyes and fussing with the other staff about you. The other folks are not bad, but the fact this guy is allowed to do this and treat customers in this way is a poor way to run a business. Tried this salon out since it's so close to my house and the reviews were pretty good. Wish I would've saved my money. I came in as soon as they opened because I read the reviews, most of them complained about the wait time. Smart move on my part because I was told to choose a color and they sat me down to begin my pedicure right away. So she began working on my feet but kind of began backwards by starting with putting the scrub and massaging my legs and feet? But I didn't think nothing of it just thought it was different. Mind you she never gave me any options of pedicures to choose from, which was also odd. Never even talked to me besides saying Hello. There were a few other people who were also getting pedicures before me, remember that. So as she's doing my feet I notice that she's almost done and has not used that tool that look like a cheese grater (sorry I don't know the proper name) which I really needed to get the dead skin off. Everyone else getting there pedicures did, also they were taking their time getting them done. She was basically done in like 20min! This place was amazing. The only thing I wish they did differently was offer a price list (either hanging or near the waiting area). I was expecting my total to be near $50 (average pedi in the area is $25) but it was actually $75. My husband said it was worth every penny, but I probably should have asked for my own piece of mind. I have no complaints, I only use these services being a mail to take care of the health of my feet, and the staff if very friendly and they offer that pickle, they give you water to drink, they even stayed a little after close to do a last minute nail service for my friend. I have no complaints, and highly recommend you give this place a try! They offer a cash payment incentive program which is nice. By the way the standard pedicure is a bit more then the competing places, but they give you the mid level treatment which includes like a 16 minute foot message. I went in to this establishment, T Nails in Georgetown, Ky to get a color polish change on my toes and my acrylic nails with gel taken off and redone. I get my nails done every 2 weeks. I've never had just a gel manicure so I was unsure of the process so when it got to the point for her to put polish on and she told me the price for everything. I wanted to know why she wasn't putting the tips on. She said I didn't ask for that. I was clearly unhappy as my real nails are extremely brittle FROM HAVING TIPS for so long. What sense does it make for me to get a manicure on brittle nails for $50?! So they said they'd fix them. But I had to pay $25 more dollars. When my friends got the exact she service I wanted for only $10 more than I paid. Now I'm not an entitled or unreasonable person. I run a business. I know if you put your time in to providing a service you'd want to be compensated. I also know if a loyal paying customer is unhappy, you fix the issue and make them happy. Period. I basically paid $75 for a polish change on my toes and a manicure. I'm sorry but I not happy. They sat me down to fix it and wanted me to pay $25 more for their misunderstanding. I was not rude or unpleasant until they refused to make it right as long as I paid more. That's when I walked out. I'm sorry. I'm a very unhappy customer and that's not right. I will never be back nor will I ever recommend. They just lost 2 loyal paying customers that spent very good money at this nail salon. The pedicure started off lovely, and then came the tools. My toes are sliced in 3 places. And they just continued to pour alcohol on it. I didn't complain and I'm not one to do type of thing. They carried on with their service..... and my retired grand champion dog was with me, she goes everywhere I go, she's passed service dog testing but IS NOT a service dog as I am not someone who requires one and I don't try to pass her off as one. Anyways, she was sleeping as she always does beside my chair while getting my pedicure and completely out of the way until the nail tech stepped on the base of her tail. Startling her, she reacted as you can imagine and I was treated as it was my fault. I can't imagine if she was a true service dog what kind of behavior they would have towards the pet and owner who requires the services of the pet. I went with a friend to get a gel manicure she got a regular manicure. The girl that did mine should not be doing nails!! She barely clipped my cuticles, nail polish was on my cuticles at one point she took an energy board and file my cuticles on the side of my nails. No lotion, no massage of the hand or arm. This place does not even get one star from me. Today was my second time going and will definitely be my last. I originally went there a few weeks ago and got acrylic nails with gel polish and the polish was basically streaky and see thru. I figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt since they were busy and ask for an extra layer of polish the next time. Well, I did that today and my fingers are just globs of polished, very uneven and so thick. Not cute and not comfortable. It only gets worse. At the beginning I noticed one finger was nearly shaped into an oval even though the other 9 nails were square, and one finger was so crooked I honestly thought it was a joke or he wasn't finished. I couldn't believe it so I contemplating leaving right then because I couldn't imagine how much worse it could get. He fixed those two and then I had to have him fix another nail again because one of my thumb nails was like 5mm longer than the other, no joke. After polishing my nails and I have them under the light the lady next to me also had to make a comment stating no one even trimmed, filed, or buffed her nails before putting her gel color on. So he obviously had to restart that as well. After my nails were complete I came to realize I wouldn't allow these people to ever touch my hands again.
