I have been going to Irma for the past 20 years . She does an excellent job with my hair. A majority of my hair is gray now , but she colors and applies highlights. It's looks so natural that people do not believe I have f gray at all . She takes her time . Colors, highlights, wash , cut style and blow dry - I walk out of their looking like I am 30 again again! I came in looking for a last minute appointment and sent the owner a message through yelp. I immediately got a reply and they were able to take me in last minute. Irma cut my hair to the perfect length, not to much and not to little. She gave me perfect bangs and she was very friendly and nice. I would recommend her to my friends. The salon does blow outs, coloring, hair cuts and waxing for your face. It's a intimate little spot and has a lot of character. You can tell the owner puts in a lot of hard work in maintaining a clean and organized space. read more

I LOVE La Bella Salon! This quaint little funky hair salon is located off of Castro Valley Blvd. It was formerly Austin Lewis Salon (which I don't see listed here on Yelp). But has since been bought and changed to La Bella Salon by Irma who I've been going to get my hair done for years. She bought the salon and transformed it to her own, it's been about 2 years now? I've lost track. The salon is small, only 3 "stations" with the washing sinks and head heaters in the back by the bathroom. Irma is professional and well experienced. She's been doing my hair for years and whatever salon she moved to, I followed. My hair has gone from long to short and everything in between with her and a couple of weird color changes too. Red or purple, anyone? The other stylist that works there is Jen who is also friendly. She brings her 2 little dogs with her and being an animal lover, it's nice to relax and get my hair done and have some little chihuahua jump on lap and just chill. Their available parking in front of the shop is limited. But there's always parking available on the street. The salon happens to be at the beginning of a block that is a residential street. read more

I also love Bella and Ruckus her two adorable dogs (they are my babies while I'm there. ) Irma, the Owner is such a wonderful seasoned hair stylist. She did a very nice job placing her own special touch when she redecorated the salon when she took it over. It's a very relaxing experience, it feels like I'm with family while I'm there. I was lucky to have found Irma when she was working at Stacy Monroe's a long time ago. Many years later, I still go to her, and I am always happy with my hair (haircuts, coloring, highlights). Now my husband goes to her as well. Her prices are very reasonable. If you are looking for that hairstylist that you would follow anywhere she goes, Irma is the one. I have been going to Jenn for about 10 years for cuts, color, and up do's, including when i moved out of the area for a few years I still came to C.V. because there was NO WAY anyone else was going ot touch my hair. I was referred by Lisa (Karen's client) because of my "do whatever it feels like" hair. Jenn has not only curred my fear of hair cuts but shown me how to straighten my hair too! I have even had family and freinds out of the area use her when in town and they have all loved her and the incredible work she does as well. I have been going to La Bella Salon for YEARS! I was there when it was formerly Plush, then Austin Louis Salon, now it's La Bella Salon... I've been going to Jen for the past 2-3 years and she's amazing! She listens very intently and if you have any little or big change she's very capable. I have gotten pretty much anything under the sun and have had lovely results each time. Parking is a little scarce but there is street parking nearby. Her two little dogs (Bella and Ruckous) are super sweet and never mind visiting while you're being styled. I've referred at least 4 other people who now go there religiously!
