    Boutique hotel

Lovely small boutique hotel in Dundee that was cute and clean with great service. Our room was small, but nicely done, other that the art was hung way too high and there was no where to sit and be comfortable. Breakfast was served down stairs and was a lot with a nice fruit cup, omelet, toast (even gluten free) coffee and a banana for the road. It's a lovely home that just needs a tiny bit more ambiance. Would I stay again? It is perfectly and the hostess quite pleasant. I did not see one other quest, but we were in late and on the way early!

This is a sweet bed and breakfast conveniently located near a bunch of great wineries. The inn was built in 2014, so unlike typical B&Bs, there are amenities like power plugs near your bedside and other comforts you'd expect in a modern hotel, yet it still maintains an intimate country inn vibe. On our most recent trip here we stayed in the Lorraine room, which was exceptionally clean, with a great plush King bed and warm fireplace. Despite all 8 guest rooms being booked, we never heard a peep from others until we went downstairs for breakfast in the morning. The gracious owners Mark and Elizabeth offer a selection of tasty homemade breakfast items, all served in their nice dining area, patio (on warmer days) or even in your room if you prefer. We particularly like the excellent coffee, the breakfast sandwich, fresh fruit and cinnamon scones. If you're there when they offer the cinnamon apple dutch baby, don't hesitate to get that! We consider this place a great value and will return as often as we can. Fond memories.

Such a cute BandB!!!!! My hubby and I spent a romantic weekend here in Dundee over Memorial Day weekend. The room was so beautiful, clean and comfortable!!!! (We stayed in the Burgundy room) We were treated with bottles of water and a couple Honest Chocolates each day!!! YUM!!! There was a private bathroom, fireplace, flat screen TV, and a small dining area. Breakfast was served every morning between 8:30-9:30. The ladies were SUPER accommodating for any food dislikes or allergies. There were also options to have breakfast packed up to go!!! Each meal was listed on a chalkboard the night before so you knew what you were waking up to. Everything was amazing!!! But my favorites were the grilled grapefruit with toasted coconut and coconut cream and the Sweet Potato hash!!! (I sort of emphasized this, but they can very easy accommodate for vegan or vegetarian.... the housemade coconut cream is to DIE FOR!!!!!!!!!!) They have a great set up with a large dining room area. There they always have hot water for tea, a keurig for coffee, chocolates, a fridge for any leftovers you are savings or open wine bottles, and complimentary water bottles, sparkling water, soda and juice!!!!! There was also a great living room area with a TV, books, and board games. They also had cabinets with stemware and cork screws for any wine you purchased locally that you wanted to enjoy. We ended up staying in one night with a pizza and a bottle of wine. So nice there was a good common area we could relax without having to feel we had to stay cooped up in our room. The entire landscape is open which is beautiful! In the backyard we noticed a croquet set. Would be nice if they had some other game options or installed a hot tub to watch the sunset. The property sits right next door to Hyland. Totally in walking distance of their tasting room!!! Although there are many other tasting rooms and wineries all within a 2 mile radius!!! Next time we are in Dundee, we will definitely be back staying here!!!

We were greeted with friendly smiles from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The decor has a classy rustic vibe and everything is high quality and very comfortable. There are many different places to sit and take in the views, both inside and outside. The room accommodations are outstanding. The linens are luxurious, and pretty. The room is fresh and ultra clean (even in the corners!). There's a beautiful tasting room on property, a cozy/casual cellar bar, and an award-winning restaurant with a 10 course prix fixe dining experience. The views of the vineyard, lavender bushes and valley are straight out of a storybook! The pics we saw online ahead of time don't do this property justice-no picture could. We were greeted at the desk by Ryan with a glass of their sister winery's rose and then proceeded on a tour of the inn. It is a small boutique inn with only about 18 rooms total. I believe while we were there, there may have been maybe 4-5 other couples (that we only saw at breakfast). It is just a lovely place with a sitting room with a huge fireplace, a quaint breakfast room, and several patio areas with fire pits overlooking the valley. One firepit stays on all the time (already I was excited to "need" a firepit in August!). Ryan then walked us across the entryway to a separate smaller building and into our room which was the Deluxe Valley View room...with glass doors that opened directly onto a sweet little patio with adirondack chairs and table overlooking the vineyard. We spent every morning here drinking tea before breakfast and most evenings here drinking wine before bed. And speaking of breakfast! Every morning was a treat...several options you can choose from, mix and match your pastry with your fresh fruit with your main dish with your beverage with your coffee, all a great way to bellywad before a day of wine tastings! Do yourself a favor and get the SCONE every morning! I discovered that sadly on my last day :( All of the staff were super sweet and accommodating. The room was beautiful and the bed was comfy! But that view tho! Makes me want to submit a resume!

Claire went above and beyond to help make their celebration memorable. She arranged a wine tasting for them at Jachter Family Wines, upgraded them to a king room (they booked a queen), and even placed a beautiful handwritten note in their room in advance, written from my sister to her husband with a special message to accompany the amenity. That thoughtful personal touch meant so much and was such a wonderful way to begin their anniversary celebration. Claire was professional, kind, responsive, and genuinely invested in making their stay special. When you reach out to a hotel from afar and trust someone to help create a meaningful experience for people you love, you hope for exactly this kind of care and attention. My sister and her husband had an incredible stay and came home with wonderful memories. They will absolutely be choosing Dundee for future trips, and I will be as well. The Dundee is small hotel in 2 office-like buildings. The first floor of the hotel contains 4 tasting rooms, and a lovely restaurant. There's some lovely fragrant hand soap and lotion on the moderate sized vanity. Our room had a refrigerator, coffee station, hot pot, iron and ironing board, desk, and 2 large comfy chairs. There's a breakfast station in the hallway with granola bars and cups of instant oatmeal. There's no view of vineyards but the hotel is a short walk from a couple of large tasting rooms, and the Red Hills Market, which I highly recommend! Highly recommend if you are staying in the small community of Dundee!

Weather could not have been more beautiful. We were greeted by Joan, the gracious host, that showed us around the compound of living rooms, common sitting areas, kitchen and breakfast area, including the jacuzzi and sauna. Extremely charming, with walls adorned with Joan's family pictures through the decades. We met Joan at the nearby cellar, as all new guests get a complimentary wine tasting and choice of one full glass the evening of their arrival. The chardonnay and pinot reserve showed promise, however the remaining were uninspiring. Regardless, we were able to socialize with two other couples from Vancouver, B.C. and Florida. Our room was the Yamhill, which was on the second floor among four other rooms. Being among the cheaper rooms of the bunch at $150, we had one small window that overlooked the entrance and gardens near the pavilion. Decorated in a cute country motif with a stuffed brown bear as our mascot we named Merlot. Room was very clean, King bed was very comfortable and the night was extremely quiet. Breakfast was downstairs at 9, with coffee available at 8. You could hear neighboring guests rustling around by 7. Family style breakfast was ample with fresh fruit and cream, eggs with a cheese sauce, homemade biscuits and hash browns. A perfect way to start off our day.
