Wanting to experience several new vineyards in Willamette Valley without having to worry about driving back to Portland after lots of wine tasting, we booked rooms at the Dundee Inn. Centrally located, it's the perfect location. Fabulous restaurants - Tina's, the Painted Lady, The Dundee Bistro - just a few blocks away dozens of wineries and vineyards just minutes away. You can book tastings and need less than 10 minutes to get from one to the next. The hotel is more than adequate. Rooms weren't huge, but the size was all that was needed. Clean, nicely appointed with comfortable bedding, a Keuric coffee maker, with an air conditioner and heating unit that worked and was silent! If you are lucky, even views of the rolling hills. Tons of road construction on. Highway 99 when we were there (May 2021) and while they warned us that the work happens at night, we didn't hear anything. Huge parking lot, elevator to second floor, friendly staff - everything one needs to make your stay in Dundee convenient and affordable. My rating of 5 stars is based on the total experience for this type of hotel. Meaning, it's not classified as a 5* hotel, like a Ritz Carlton, for example, so I'm comparing it with other hotels in their category. Will most definitely be returning without hesitation.

The quaint, charming, boutique Dundee Hotel.

The Dundee is the absolutely perfect place to stay in wine country!!!! My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. We stayed in the King Suite which is an absolutely beautiful room. The decor is wine country modern. Pristine clean. Extremely Dog friendly for good behaved pooches like our 12 year old Boston Terrier. We found our room to not only be esthetically pleasing but super comfortable as well. The luxurious king bed had a wonderful mattress, soft linens and blankets. Very clean smelling and not that overwhelming bleach smell like some hotels. The powder room had a huge walk in shower. High end shampoo, conditioner and body soap provided. The towels were thick, new, and plush. Lots of nice natural light in the room. Very nice AC for hot days. We had a very nice, quiet stay. The staff of the hotel are genuinely kind and awesome. Very accommodating! Across the way is a little dog park area to walk the fur babies. Wine tasting rooms in walking distance as well as a great restaurant, Field and Stream. 5 star lodging. We highly recommend the Dundee and cannot wait to visit again!

Great room and good food at Babic Hen downstairs. Two night minimum was a little unexpected but ended up being perfect as a mini vacation.

We came from Texas in August to escape the heat ya'll. We were greeted at the desk by Ryan with a glass of their sister winery's rose and then proceeded on a tour of the inn. It is a small boutique inn with only about 18 rooms total. I believe while we were there, there may have been maybe 4-5 other couples (that we only saw at breakfast). It is just a lovely place with a sitting room with a huge fireplace, a quaint breakfast room, and several patio areas with fire pits overlooking the valley. One firepit stays on all the time (already I was excited to "need" a firepit in August!). Ryan then walked us across the entryway to a separate smaller building and into our room which was the Deluxe Valley View room...with glass doors that opened directly onto a sweet little patio with adirondack chairs and table overlooking the vineyard. We spent every morning here drinking tea before breakfast and most evenings here drinking wine before bed. And speaking of breakfast! Every morning was a treat...several options you can choose from, mix and match your pastry with your fresh fruit with your main dish with your beverage with your coffee, all a great way to bellywad before a day of wine tastings! Do yourself a favor and get the SCONE every morning! I discovered that sadly on my last day :( All of the staff were super sweet and accommodating. The room was beautiful and the bed was comfy! But that view tho! Makes me want to submit a resume!

Looking for a place to stay in McMinville and found The Vintage Trailer Resort…read more They have purchased and updated several vintage trailers and they are so nice! There is a whole row at the park that is all vintage .... about maybe 20 trailers. Some are small and some larger ones as well. They all have 2 cute bikes that come with the rental. The prices are similar to what you'd pay for a hotel room. Each trailer has different decors, colors, vibe. One with a hot tub to the side, you can get a small fire pit at one. One has a stand alone tub. The park is very nice and well kept. One side is vintage with permanent trailers , the other sideis to stay with your own trailer. It's along side the river and is a quick 5 minutes to town. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We arrived a bit early and they were ready and checked us in quickly. The trailer is clean and very comfortable. There are several wineries and tasting rooms in town. It's such a fun change from a hotel room. Come check them out. So fun!!

The Vintage RV Resort Pros vs Cons…read morePros 1. Clean RV Park 2. Welcoming General Store and check in process 2. Creative idea to experience glamping. We looked forward to soaking in 3. There are beautiful vintage trailers to stay in. 4. You get a winery tasting discount passport that you can use while you're a guest at The Vintage but with check in at 4pm you barely have time to use it day of check in. Cons 1. The Neutron Couples #2 has a mildew/mold smell and it's horrific. The wood around the soaking tub has absorbed spilled tub water. Possibly a health hazard with a lack of concern for this problem. Also mold/mildew in all window. Jamie (GM) told me they're fully aware because past guests have told them about the smell. It's to bad they won't fix the problem and or warn potential customers. Maybe they're waiting till someone gets really sick. 2. Porch light and deck step light out and I was told "yah they don't work". 3. The cost per night was not worth spending a night in a moldy unhealthy environment. 4. RV park smelled like sewer both morning and evening. 5. The tv went in and out but that was not the major problem in this unit.

Day 1- Trash was not removed from exterior of guest house. Upstairs patio and chairs at guest house stained with bird dropping and smashed cherries, as were the downstairs outside couches. Called ITrip operations who sent the groundskeeper to resolve issue. He never did wash down the patio. Same night, we wanted to enjoy our dinner to experience the beautiful weather. We were unable to remove the layers of dirt on the patio dining table at Manor and had to eat dinner inside. Day 2- We noticed outside chairs at Manor were dirty and did not sit on it, as were the chairs around fire pit. Called ITrip operations again to tell first tell them Day 1 patio cleaning was not properly done, and that my HUSBAND washed and scrubbed it himself. Then proceeded to tell them about newly noticed issues. Operations sent someone in a timely manner. He was the plumber, Victor who scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed...did an AMAZING job!!! Also told him our a/c was warm and not working properly. He tried to resolve, and advised if not cooled by Day 3 to call management._ Day 3- After sleeping 2 nights in warm stuffy condition, had to call management again to notify....they could not promise someone could come out. After waiting a few hours it was evident a/c was not working and sent text message that conditions warranted an emergency service call. An a/c expert arrived shortly thereafter and confirmed major issue with a/c system in guest house. He managed to get it cool enough for us to enjoy sleeping. Day 4- Finally all issues resolved the day before we were to check out. _ Check out day- Post wedding celebration, we requested a late check out but no response. We quickly packed up so as to not get charged. House cleaners arrived as the last of us were about ready to leave. We told her everything except a/c issue in guest house. She confirmed it ALL should have been completed prior to our arrival, and that we could have had a late check out since no one was scheduled to arrive in a couple of days. Moreover and probably the most concerning was an undisclosed RV above the property was being occupied by groundskeepers who had codes to access the homes. Terrifying if all females stayed at the property. Exterior night lighting around grounds insufficient, making it dangerous. The amount of money we paid to stay was overpriced for the non-privacy and condition it was delivered in. Above all else, interior of both homes were very clean, the beds were comfortable, bathroom amenities excellent, expansive outside space and private lake was enjoyable. Response time and maintenance resolution by ITrips operations was impressive, however, I'm still waiting for the property manager to call me, it's been 7 days Might recommend to others with but with caveats.
