Absolute WORST credit union EVER…read more As with all good tales, it started out great, of course. But, over the years, First Entertainment just keeps getting worse and worse. I'm so happy I closed my account and am no longer a member. I've been a member since the 1990's. But, today- this credit union is no longer the member-oriented, boutique banking institution that put its best-foot forward to service entertainment employees. Now, they're just another a big bank mentality financial institution that only cares about numbers, efficiency, profits etc. They honestly could care less about providing their members with good service or quality treatment. Their lack of communication and exorbitant account service fees will slowly drain away your account figures. And, they won't even notify you in any way, shape, or form. There are far better credit unions and retail banks that will actually look out for the welfare and benefits of their members with good statementing, fraud protection, and good customer service. The one time I go, I was interested in signing up for Chase Preferred card. I was open to signing up online but I wanted to see if this location offered a sign on bonus. A fairly simple question to ask. I go to the teller to ask my question and he nicely informs me he would get a bank associate. I end up waiting 20 minutes and no one comes to help me. I go back to ask my question again, he had no answer and tried googling it. To save time, I asked for a phone number of the branch and I'm provided with the chase customer service line so I ask the next teller if he knows of the sign in deal. He also just googles it and says no. I am fully capable of using google. I was hoping for an educated answer from someone with experience support people sign up for these cards. My expectation of being supported with this question was not met and it seemed no one cared. Of course I can google it and I did but I wanted to ask if the branch had a special promo but I did not receive a confident or educated answer. But thanks google for helping us out. On the other hand I understand I didn't have an appointment but no one was in the bank and it was a simple yes or no question that they could've answered. Moral of the story, is the customer service here is not up to par and before writing this, I seen other negative reviews unfortunately which validated my poor experience.

I call to the bank to asked about that and they told me to call customer service, so I did. And for my bad luck they told me that them checked the ATM and don't found any issue about my deposit, what a shame. They just told me later that the claim case was closed and there's nothing more to do. It was the first time that it happened and before you deposit write how much you have in your account. This bank brand sucks and it's time to close my accounts with them. Thieves...
