Awful experience The big goofy manager is really laughable. I feel bad for anyone who has to work under this guy. Everything he touches he complicates. Just a programmed tool. Been going to this branch for 10 years. Never had a problem until ichabod crane stepped up as a teller to "help" me. 10 years of the same procedure. I deposit than transfer.... Never had an issue. He made this sooo excruciating and time consuming and miserable. Complete different protocol than I've been doing for 10 years. He blamed the staff for not being properly trained yet he's their manager... isn't that his job? He also stated that he doesn't use a pen.. like it was beneath him to write down an account number that i have already written down and handed him. Maybe he was afraid to touch cash?? As a private Chase client, I've been working with for a while with a high limit credit card, always paid on time, credit score 780. No issues at all ever with any banks. Decided to open a business checking account and work with Chase. Also opened an Ink credit card. At one day they closed my all credit cards without notice. Asked my dedicated banker, manager other stuff, calling them... nobody told me the reason. I said, wait a sec. if You have any doubts You can reach your client and clarify. Moreover, not an alert on their system. That's the way how they treat their vip or private clients. No reason, no explanation, just we don't have access to the info or a reason why it happened. They told me You could reapply to a new credit card))) They left me speechless. Go ahead and google it, "Chase closing credit cards" . You will see a lot of interesting stories. read more

I've been fortunate to either get everyone on good days but everyone is kind helpful and respectful... David helped me several times now and really was a pleasure .. one time with my Target / acct that was a check debit that was compromised.. David took action stayed on top of it and was resolved in a month .. that was not his fault for the month time these things have to be investigated.. Then another time with my disability funds from a recent surgery I had .. I will not deal with Bank of America and Chase helped the transfer so fast on their end ... Maria is always kind as well and welcoming .. I even got a nice holiday card in the mail how thoughtful of them .. Just visited this branch and David the branch manager was super helpful with the issue that has happened regarding my account. He was very patient and then the entire staff were very helpful. As a PC client, I needed a one page document notarized. When I walked in. A tall gentleman came over and said that they didn't have a notary on site, but he would see if he could find one. But his priority was to keep his eye on the bank teller. Don't know why he thought I needed that information. Made me feel very insignificant. Also Chase is not set up so that the employees can easily access information about other branches. He was not able to find any place that had a notary. Most branches he called. Didn't even answer the phone. terrible customer service. And this gentleman made me feel like my presence was an annoyance for him. Not a good look. He also proceeded to tell me that when he used to be a notary, he always wanted a Appt since this was a lot of work. As a farmer notary myself I know this is a bunch of BS. It is a simple one page document. You might need an appointment if you were signing loan docs, but this was not the case. read more

I come into this branch to use the ATM to deposit money. I have never stepped inside. Until today. Is just finished an ATM transaction and had sat down for maybe 30 seconds to complete another personal transaction because it's super hot outside. I kid you not within 30 seconds I was approached to see if I needed anything and then when I said no I just wanted to sit for a moment I was offered a water. This branch is beyond amazing! This is the worst bank I've ever been to. The manager is incredibly rude. He says he cannot take more than $500 in ones? This is literally a bank. How can your vault hold no more than $500 ones. The manager David was so incredibly rude and hinted at my cash being fraudulent and or money laundering it? I'm not sure if it was racial profiling of him just trying to be an a-hole. The customer next to me agreed that the staff there was typically rude and also slow. And he's someone who goes there frequently. I unfortunately had to go to this bank because I was in the area but never again. David should really take a course in customer service, I've met people at fast food places (underpaid and overworked) who were nicer than him. read more

Just had the worst experience. The kind that makes you want to write a review. I have been a loyal customer of Chase Bank. Ever since they bought out my old bank, Washington Mutual, in 2008. I've had the occasional head-butt with their mindless big corporation ways, but I've stayed with them because the workers at the branches have always been really great. Today, however, things changed. Through a series of odd events and because of my day job as an apartment manager, I ended up with about a thousand bucks in quarters. (Long story.) I headed over to my local branch, the one I always go to, the one that's always treated me soooo well. I was hoping they could help take the coins off my hands or at least give me some professional advice as to where I could go to turn them into cash. One of the tellers, young guy, didn't catch his name, started helping me out right away, happy to help. He told me I would probably have to roll them all up or count them out into these big coin bags that he proceeded to hand me. Suddenly, in swooped Uber Manager, a tall bird-like jack-wagoning turd-waffle who SNATCHED. THE. F#@KING. BAGS. RIGHT. OUT. OF. MY. HANDS. No "excuse me", no introduction, just some entitled kneejerk of a juice box showing a vacuum of common courtesy. He then told me that, since I was an individual and not a corporation, Chase would be unable to help me. If the old adage is true that "S#%t floats" it's no wonder this bag of clown shoes is running the place. Now I not only have the problem of getting rid of a thousand simoleons in quarters, but I have to research which credit union will get all my business from now until the end of time. These people are all idiots and clearly do not care. I got married almost a full year ago and have been by this branch SIX TIMES trying to get them to help me change my last name on my cards and accounts. The first time no one was here who could help, apparently they all go to lunch at the same damn time. Then, the second time a girl said the one person who showed up that day was busy and I should make an appointment. So, I asked if I could make an appointment through her and she took my name and number and said someone would call me in an hour or so to schedule. That never happened. They did this to me again two weeks later. Meanwhile, THEY NEVER PICK UP THEIR PHONE!!!! This place is awful. No wonder these jobs are being replaced by automated machines. I have been trying for two days to open a savings account online. I walked into this branch in a Saturday and waited my turn. I explained to the banker I had struggled with the app and needed help with opening a savings account. The banker didn't have anyone else waiting but said someone was coming in in a little while and that I should come back in a Monday. I need this shit now. I am beyond disappointed with the rudeness and lack of service. Since my last review. I have now had a second horrible experience. I made an appointment for 3:00 I was there at 2:45 waiting until 3:45 and they told be another hour! What the fuck was my appointment for? Worst fucking ban I have ever dealt with. I went in yesterday with a fraud concern on my account and the banker who deals with business accounts told me to go to another branch. I had just found out my account had been hacked and instead of giving me assistance they bounced me to a different location. This is a brand new Chase branch in the Toluca Lake area. I've been here a few times to deposit checks and am greeted every time, the staff is friendly and upbeat, the building is bright and clean. Never a huge line, I'm usually able to be helped immediately. They also have dog treats by the door from a local business! read more

He set us up with chase quick pay, showed us how to use online banking and made us an ATM / Debit card on the spot. Super unhappy with this location. Both the mortgager "specialist" (Ernest Page) and the other girl (Meline Ghazargan) couldn't tell me how much I was paying on my mortgage taxes. So they had me call the 1- 800 number and speak to a tax specialist. That tax specialist also told me they couldn't see how much I was paying per month for my mortgage taxes in Florida. I really don't understand why they have "mortgage" and "tax" specialists who can't tell you what you're paying on your mortgage or taxes. Ernest also was not very welcoming or friendly. read more

Disappointed. Business client, promised notary service--learned on a previous need to call ahead first. Response from management today was first to say "oh, we can't notarize that document." When explained that all that was needed was signature verification, the answer became "go across the street and get it notarized." When reminded that this is a service Chase offers for account holders, the answer became "I don't have my stuff - come in Friday." And this is in Toluca Lake...! read more

I've only been to this bank once and it was to discuss a joint savings account for me and my husband. Jerry was really helpful and was looking out for us as we discussed the practicality of making mu husbands savings account our joint account since it cost to open another one. This is the worst bank ever... The most horrible bank ever do not recommend it to anyone if u have an emergency situations never rely on the ATM card even thou ur money is deposited. I deposited my check on Saturday and on Monday night no funds available. I called to tell the customer service to release the funds so I can fill gas in the car they refused to help me I got stuck on the freeway with empty gas trying to go home from a long day of work. Called them again to ask for at least 10 dollars to be released from an amount of my paycheck I got denied the Supervisor Richie Alva refused to help me and told me to wait till tomorrow morning. So basically I have to sleep in the car with my kids till morning so I can pour gas and go home. I have never been in a situation like this ever but my gas tank isnt working on the dash board so I just pour gas ever other day and now am unable to make purchases because my bank refused to release at least 10 dollars of funds that belong to me and am not asking for a loan from them had the most horrible experience as a new customer already. read more

Made the switch from Wells Fargo who are located right next to them. The people working at this Chase Branch are ten times more helpful and nicer than Wells Fargo. Had a few problems with Wells Fargo and requested the branch manager twice to call me. She never did call me back I asked why did you not call me back and she lied to me saying she was out of town when the teller said she was at her desk and I saw her at her desk the day of the problem.
