This is a long time waiting but I have nothing but amazing things to say about Logix Federal Credit Union! I became a member in 2014 not knowing what a credit union was but was always interested by the little robot and the color scheme of the original corporate office. I remember getting all the information that helped persuade to open a membership. They assisted me with a credit card and then a personal loan to help me be debt free from past credit card uses! As of now, I'm close to paying off my debt and feel that Logix FCU gave me the chance to make that a reality! It's also great to say that every logix location I have had the pleasure of going to have all been great service all around! I know I will have a life long relationship with logix as I will also open an UTMA account for my nephew to help save for his future! I know Logix FCU will help the next generation just like they assisted me all these years! Heck! I wanted to update a mortgage loan pre- approval, but it took too long. Although the loan officer (Jonathan Cabrera) was very nice and professional, I was blocked from speaking to the Sr. Underwriter, Annette Aivazian, who clearly did not understand my documents and took way too long. It took 4 days! I would want a different Underwriter to handle this loan. read more

Logix requires a savings account with a minimum 50 dollar balance in order to be eligible for an auto loan. Ok no problem. 4 years later, after you've paid the balance in full early, plus their interest, with impeccable timing, they decide your savings account has a low balance, and charge 5 dollars a month until -5$ is in the account. Can't think of a more petty predatory way to bank. You can keep the 50$ as a tip logix and you can use it to retrain you customer service reps that hold arbitrary policies as the final word in this make believe world you live in. Could have just closed the account and sent me a 50$ check. I will not be using your services again. read more

I switched from a big bank to Logix in 2019 under the notion that Credit Unions are more receptive to their customer's needs on a much more personal level than big banks. With big purchases on the horizon for me and my family in 2019 (home, car, first-born, etc.), I thought it was a no brainer to establish a relationship with an institution where equity in business relationships would be part of being an account holder. What I've found in the 6 years or so that I've been a member is they operate no differently than a big bank...and I would argue are even MORE robotic. There's no singular example I can give other than the most recent experience which was the last straw. But as someone who held multiple loan accounts (that were always paid on time and always in full or beyond) and was at their Platinum tier status - the lack of discretion for anything that involved them squeezing less money out of me via fees or interest was quite astonishing. I would not recommend this institution to anyone who, like me, is considering switching from a big bank under the false pretense that Credit Unions take better care of their customers. In my experience with with this "CU", that is the case. Logix is a FCU in name only. read more

Review for Logix Federal Credit Union - Burbank (100 N First St) and Porter Ranch Locations I'm writing this review to share a very disappointing and frustrating experience I recently had with Logix Federal Credit Union--specifically at both the Burbank and Porter Ranch branches. As a long-time member, I've always valued Logix for its reliable service, but unfortunately, that standard was not upheld in these recent interactions. Following a trip, one of my cards was compromised. I visited the Porter Ranch location to have the cards replaced. The teller there assured me everything was set up and ready to go. However, they failed to properly activate the cards. This oversight only became apparent when I attempted to use one of the cards later that evening and it was declined in a public setting, which was extremely embarrassing. When I called Logix the next day, a representative acknowledged that the issue was on their end and advised me to go to the Burbank branch to resolve it in person. I followed those instructions, only to be told by the teller there that I would have to either wait for the cards by mail or pay a fee for new ones--completely contradicting what I had just been told over the phone. This added unnecessary confusion and wasted more of my time. Eventually, a more experienced teller stepped in and was able to complete the process correctly, but by that point, the damage had already been done. I lost time, dealt with unnecessary embarrassment, and faced inconsistent information between staff members at different locations. This level of service is simply unacceptable. If newer tellers require additional training, please invest in that training rather than allowing repeated mistakes to negatively affect your members. It is not fair to pass the burden of internal errors onto your customers in the form of delays, confusion, or additional fees. What's especially frustrating is that I've had much better experiences at other Logix branches, where staff were efficient, professional, and clearly trained to handle issues like this properly. It's unfortunate that this level of service isn't consistent across all locations. I hope Logix leadership takes this feedback seriously and addresses the discrepancies in service quality. I have been with Logix (formally Lockheed) for 37 years. With nearly 40 years of up and downs and doing banking with LFCU you can only imagine the immense volume of my money that has been paid and lent to them. I was extremely disappointed and rather upset recently when Logix decided to switch to new online software and not migrate the previous budgeting and transaction data that their customers had previously entered. This was deliberate and inconsiderate to put it bluntly on the part of Logix Management. I emailed the CEO with no reply. My only conclusion is this was a cost cutting move. Logix's new website is trash...it keeps kicking me out of my session, requirement me to log in, and wait minutes to receive my code...and, scheduling a payment to my credit account, which I have been doing for years, tells me I am choosing an invalid date. I spoke with CS a couple of weeks ago, and they said they would escalate the issue...zero follow-up....nothing. After being a Lockheed customer, then Logix for over 20 years, I am now looking for another bank. read more

I do not recommend Logix. I took out a personal loan and even paid for their optional insurance, but when my hours at work were cut, the bank refused to help. Instead, they reported me late to the credit bureau, after multiple phone calls, and making partial payments. After speaking to multiple agents and making partial payments, the payment was sent to the Credit picture and my credit went on 100 Points. I'm in the process of moving and we all know that you need good credit to rent an apartment in LA - now because of this late payment reported I now have to come up with $3000 to move just because of $140 late payment. They have no empathy for customers in real need. I was a loyal member for over two years, always paying on time -- but when it mattered most, they offered nothing. I wanted to work out a payment plan with them and they refused to work with me. At the time of getting the loan they very friendly, but when things got serious, no one wanted to help. I absolutely hate writing negative reviews, especially about companies I once respected -- but Logix has pushed me to this point. This used to be a great credit union. Seriously, they stood out from the rest. No hidden fees, great customer service, and a feeling that they were truly on your side. I recommended them to friends and family. I trusted them with my money. But now? I don't even recognize this place anymore. Something changed -- maybe they got a new president, or maybe their marketing campaigns became so expensive that now they're squeezing their loyal customers to make up the difference. Whatever the reason, they've turned into exactly what they used to stand against. They've become just another greedy financial institution, charging fees just because they can. Here's what happened to me: I got hit with a few overdraft fees, so I decided to cancel my overdraft protection. I thought, "Okay, if I don't have money, just decline the transaction -- simple." But then, out of nowhere, I start getting hit with NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) fees. $30 per transaction. And mind you -- this is for transactions they didn't even approve. No money was transferred, no payment was made. Just a $30 fee for "using their automatic system" to tell me I didn't have enough money. Yes, you read that right: they charged me $30 just to decline the transaction using a system that runs on autopilot! I called customer service thinking there had to be some kind of mistake. Their response? "Yes, we charge that because the system still has to process the request, and that's not free." Are you kidding me? So now it costs $30 for a robot to say "you don't have money"? I've had accounts at multiple banks -- big names, small credit unions -- and I have never seen anything like this. It's like they're looking for ways to drain your account even when you're already struggling. And the worst part? You can't do anything about it. It feels like theft, plain and simple. Logix used to care about people. Now they care about profit. And they'll take it however they can -- quietly, with hidden fees, hoping you won't notice until it's too late. So to anyone thinking about banking with Logix: BE CAREFUL. They are no longer the credit union they used to be. Watch your statements like a hawk. Read the fine print. And be ready for surprise charges that make absolutely no sense. Because once they get you, good luck getting your money back. This is not how you treat loyal customers. Honestly over the years banking with logix just has me more and more disappointed and dissatisfied. This is the WORSTTT credit union to bank with. The app to check your account is alwayss down it never fails, you can't even sign in because it always has some stupid glitch or "maintenance" issue. So let me try to go sign in on the web right like it would be before apps existed?? WELL can't do that either!! Because their whole web page is "currently down for scheduled maintenance." And who knows when it should be back up right? You call, it's a busy line so you wont get through to anyone and can't leave a message to get called back. So as of right now I am unable to check my account at all. this company is a complete joke and has fallen completely apart. I'm writing an update to the online community managements response. Although, I do appreciate your time in doing so thank you. However, there are MANY excuses in that reaponse other then solutions?! Your patrons deserve and look for convenience. From parking to no restrooms your resonse had NO solutions other than deal with what's provided or you may happily go elsewhere. (another location- NOT a solution) Maybe Burbank is the most convenient for our family. Being ok with us going out of our way to use a different location in a completely differnt city is NOT a solution for poor service, parking and amenities. Your happy to send your patrons to additional upper level parking (NOT CONVENIENT) and to a place of business which is quite awkward to ask if we're able to use their restrooms (WOOD RANCH) Understanding, the building is unable to be modified. However, upon further research,/effort, you are able to provide an upper scale/decent port a potty with a hand washing station inside. I'm pretty sure with permission of the property manager some part of the property would allow this. It would definitely make it more convenient and less awkward/tacky to ask a nearby restaurant that does NOT allow you to use the restrooms unless your dining there. They allow them when construction is taking place or convenience for businesses that do not have available restrooms for their patrons. **perhaps something to look into** read more

Very disappointed with my recent experience at Logix. I submitted an application to refinance my vehicle and they initially approved then declined my application. I must mention that I have history with this bank, successfully paid off several vehicles with no issues(with this bank and other banks) and have an excellent credit score (for privacy reasons I won't state my credit score but to give you an idea, I have 150 points more than the average person in my age group(30s)). I have income from two separate sources but that was also not enough. Luckily I already have a secure loan and the vehicle is in my possession but it was a huge waste of my time and a loss of four points due to them running my credit score. All I wanted was a lower rate and my loss is about 2000 dollars due to a 2% difference in interest rate. What's funny is that Logix lost about 30,000 (if not more) as a result of declining my application. Way to go! I truly wonder who else they'd rather choose to do business with if they declined my application. People with terrible to no credit can qualify for a loan based on their rate chart but they let go of a customer like me! Before I conclude my review I must mention that I agree with one of the reviewers below, it felt like they weren't motivated to work with me and didn't try hard enough. Avoid Logix at all costs. They lie, make up rules, and keep restrictions on your account for no reason. I was forced to get a notarized letter over a valid check, and even then, they refused to lift the restriction. Customer service is useless--told me their investigation has no time limit, which is false. These people are scam artists. Don't trust them with your money. File a complaint with the appropriate federal or state regulator, such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) (FDIC), the Federal Reserve (FRB), or the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). read more

Have been banking with Logix, used to be Lockheed Martin Credit union. They survived the financial crisis back in 2008 to 2010. There are no hidden fees and they have great customer service! Servers are always welcoming with a smile and pretty efficient. I don't believing in any of the big banks or financial institutions. But this bank is legit and has been very convenient! I have a loan that is very low. Logix has used every avenue to declare my loan in default. They have been claiming that when I deposited 1.5 million dollars as proceeds of a judgment, it should not count as income, so they can claim a default based on the loan-to-income ratio. I will not get a loan from them anymore. read more

Logix has several locations and a portal. Not sure which one i had the displeasure of dealing with this time. They don't answer their secure emails timely. They unilaterally voided my requested wire transfer. I told them I had a confirmation number, but apparently, they don't refer to that at all. I have been a member of Logix for a long time. By far this is the best banking experience that I've ever had. They are much more personable and really care about their clients. When we got married they sent me and my husband water bottles. When we had a child, they sent us. Boppy pillow and baby toys. Wells Fargo could never! We usually visit branches closer to home in the west valley. But I was going to Porto's so I decided to stop by this location. They are the main branch, if I'm not mistaken and they were pretty busy! They still managed to get me out in a reasonable time. But I prefer my other branch for the slower pace. There is plenty of parking in an adjacent lot. They have 3 atms on the outside of the building, which is nice, mine only has one. If you're headed down Hollywood way from the 5 freeway (I believe that's south) it's easy to see the big sign on the building. But coming (north?) towards the 5, the small driveway can sneak up on you. So be mindful of that. read more

My mother had been in a car accident and we waited 9 months for her settlement. I have been banking with Logix since I purchased my car 4 years ago. I went on to yelp to find a positive review of someone who would be able to help my mother, open an account, and obtain financing to purchase a vehicle. I came across Michael Flores from a previous yelper. They also left a positive review. I then called Logix, scheduled an appointment for my mother to meet with him, and we both did. First thing I need to say is, he is absolutely professional when meeting and greeting his clients. Once we got started with the loan application, he was able to not only make this critical part of my moms life to purchase a car with utmost care and patience and My mother, having a unique situation to purchase. She was being denied from a previous financial institution, Michael Flores was able to make this happen. We were able to have two meetings with him the same day. First scheduled appointment was at 10:30am, in which the prequalifying process began, he then let us know we needed supporting documents to get full approval, we went home to pick up the required documents, came back and met with him for the second time and was able to help my mom get fully approved!! My mother not only is leaving the branch with comfort knowing she would finally have a new car, but also was able to apply for a credit card with the credit union! This is such a blessing! Especially after my mother had been in tragic car accident, therapy, he blessed us with the opportunity to get her life back on the road again. Thank you Logix for focusing on hiring great professionals like Michael Flores himself. We couldn't have done it with you! Logix was great for a long time (member for 14 years). It originally had the feel of a local "mom and pop" bank. The customer service was excellent and quick. I am in the military and it was never an issue with constant moves and even overseas money situations. Over the last 5 years there has been a steady decline. While the application experience is expedited, when it comes to account management, using my money has become a chore. Lately, when using CASH (digital or physical) to make a purchase and calling to ask for a temporary limit increase, the customer service acts as if I called a financial advisor, and not customer service. I do not need advice when I am spending my money or the method in which I choose to do so. I am going to spend it regardless. We are hoping to switch away from this bank and the headaches ASAP. read more

Posting to accounts sometimes take hours or days, this is not going to work for most. It used to be a great credit union, not so much anymore. I have a mortgage loan with Logix and this is seriously the last bank you want to work with if you encounter financial woes. After years of perfect payment history, I was recently laid off and asked Logix for any help or support with mortgage payments. They sent me to a different company called BackIntheBlack LLC. So they apparently outsource the work when their customers are in need of help. The person I spoke to at BackIntheBlack asked me to do a few questionable things and the conversation raised several red flags: 1. asked me to sign my 2021 and 2022 tax returns with today's date in the line where I had signed it with 2021 and 2022 dates. Isn't this changing business records? The rep said it wasn't. My legal training & education tells me it is 2. asked me to describe what assistance I was looking for. As someone who wasn't familiar with the Loss Mitigation process, I didn't know what options were out there for me. Nevertheless, she asked me to take a guess and then they would decide if they could do it. (What?!) This is like going to a restaurant, asking the customer to guess what's in the menu, and if they're wrong, they have to leave. ‍ 3. didn't know the person I was working with at Logix nor recognized their name & job title 4. didn't have my email, while it's clear that Logix has my email 5. asked me to send sensitive documents & evidence of income, bank statements over email. Went to get an auto loan. I have a credit score of 780, but my birthday didn't match, although on Experian it's the same bday on my passport, I showed my passport card, cause I lost my license and it's on the way, I showed my passport, my passport card and they didn't approve me. So I went to another credit union and I got approved on the spot. What the hell logix ? Terrible experience, I felt like they didn't even want my business, I kept asking what can form can I provide and no one wanted to help. Very odd. I have a 780 credit score and got rejected. Weird. Logix was once a great Credit Union. Unfortunately due to management changes at the top within the past 10 years they have become antiquated and are relying on customer loyalty to stay in business. They strive to grow but have no plan. Opening more branches does not equal growth. In this specific instance they offer a rate of 3.75% interest on high yield savings accounts for NEW money only. What about the loyal 40 year customers that can only get 1.8% interest on their savings accounts. I think this shows the loyalty that LOGIX has for its long term customers (none). Logix does not offer the best Credit Cards, CD interest rates, High yield savings accounts, or even car loan rates, even their promotion of 3.75% interest on high yield savings accounts are sub par when other financial institutions on line and brick and mortar banks are offering higher rates up to 4.2% on high yield savings accounts without limitations. LOGIX board members need to evaluate their leadership if they ever want to grow and be what they were at one time. I'm so disappointed writing this review as I have been with LOGIX so long (over 40 years) and have watched a once great Credit Union flounder to what it is today. It is still a great neighborhood Credit Union to do checking and loans, nice personnel at branches, but as far as a great financial institution for savings and value it has really tumbled to the bottom. read more

My kids have a mortgage loan with Logix and they want to pay it down by a substantial amount to lower their monthly payments. However, they are being told by Logix that it will take 60 days from receipt of the money (from the sale of a previous home) to credit the loan and my kids are told that they have to make the higher payment amount for 60 days. In essence, the bank wants to work on the float of the money and continue to receive a higher loan payment. On top of that, my kids purchased a new home and because the loan department at Logix dragged their feet in processing the paperwork, it cost a lot more money. This company stinks to high heaven and I would stay clear of them. read more

I experienced an unfortunate issue with an altered check. Michael Flores, Financial Services Officer, at the Burbank Main Branch provided the most extraordinary customer service. While the issue was devastating, Michael walked me through the entire process to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Every step was accomplished in exactly the time frames that he gave me. I cant stand this branch. This is my second pissed off experience with the underwriters. Called to raise my CC limit because its remained at specific low number for years. Even tho I have 755 credit score, 100% on time payments in my entire history and lowwwww utilization they would not approve me for a raise. I have Great Credit. Even though I literally got a text saying I was approved. I CANT STAND THESE UNDERWRITERS. They discriminate against Armenians and its not fair and nothing new everyone knows. I have alot of funds in my account, dont ever withdraw my money, been a customer for years now, never had problems of anyyyy kind so the fact that they refused to raise my limit AGAIN of any kind like not even $500 lol. (yes they refused before and what changed their mind was a long pissed off review such as this because it became bigger then the biased underwriters at that point). Called them to explain what I am going through and simply put all they say is sorry there is nothing we can do about it. Even when trying to switch payment dates they still cannot accommodate.
