Cute place and the service is excellent! It's hard to say I was blown away by the empanadas with so many good places out there, but definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. They offer several options and I tried the carne (beef), albahaca (cheese, basil, olive & tomato) - my favorite!!, and del tambo (seven cheeses). They were all delicious and rich in flavor.

Wonderful and very special restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Everything we had was great and I assume very authentic regional cuisine (delicious no matter what). We were even given two half bottles of wine to take home with us.

I've been coming here for years when visiting my in-laws. It is a nice diversion from the countless pizza places in the area, or newer places that are just poor imitations of something from the US. Here you can get very good regional dishes like locro (beef and bean stew great on a cooler night), tamales, humita (corn like you've never had!) and their empanadas and desserts are great too... everything is made there! The inside is very relaxing, and it's family-owned, great service... prices are good for this level of quality in Buenos Aires.

The best part is that this is a locals restaurant, and it has such a great feel. The minute you walk inm you are welcomed by a friendly staff and led to a table, we chose upstairs and were quickly seated. Our waiter was friendly and jovial, and spoke great english. He recommended a Malbec, and then we ordered a bunch of food, which came quickly. As we dined, the placed filled up quickly, and looking around, there was not an empty table in the place- upstairs or down. The restaurnat has an Italian family feel, white table cloths and worn, but classy china. Plus the grill is amazing. Overall, this place is excellent, and a local friend who I dined with said he will be making this place one of his regular stops!

The portions here are massive. And that's coming from someone who can usually put away a pretty serious steak. Here, though It's a lot even for me. Was it good Absolutely. But a little heads-up if you're visiting: learn how Argentinians order their meat. If you ask for jugoso, it'll land somewhere between rare and medium rare. Al punto is closer to medium, sometimes even leaning toward medium well depending on the kitchen. And well done. Honestly... don't even think about it. Another tip: don't rush to order sides. Unless you're just getting a salad or you're sharing with more than two people, one plate is usually more than enough. Around here, they believe in feeding you properly and they definitely deliver.

I'd say yes, and then some. A word of advice: sit inside. That's where the magic happens. The open-flame grills roaring indoors create an incredible ambiance -- intimate, lively, and unlike anything else. The outdoor seating is charming in its own right (cozy blankets draped over every chair), but the interior is the real experience. Service was exceptional. Before we even ordered, our waiter personally walked us through the kitchen to introduce us to the various cuts on display -- a thoughtful touch that made the whole meal feel like an event. We settled on the ribeye and one other cut, with the ribeye stealing the show: thick, juicy, and cooked to perfection over open flame. To top it all off, the meal came with complimentary champagne, chorizo, empanadas, and dessert -- generous extras that made an already outstanding dinner feel truly special.

This was one of the things I was most looking forward to on this trip, and I made a reservation through our hotel months in advance. Fantastic meal overall. The steaks were great. Turned out a couple of Food tours were arriving soon. Lucky we were ordering takeaway. Smaller spot with just about an equal amount of in/outdoor seating. We ordered a couple of the Guest Chori's-The Juan Pedro Caballero (pork) and the Carneceria (beef). Juan Pedro had tortilla chips and peppers and the pork chorizo sausage was saltier than the beef. We ordered a Chimichurri sauce on the side and enjoyed it. We liked the Pork more than the Beef-just was more flavorful. The Bread was thick, soft and held up to the Choripan and condiments well. Potato salad with al dente potatoes was tasty. They also have beer and cocktails so ordered a Gin and Tonic while we waited for our order. Friendly people behind the counter. Food was ready in about 15 minutes. That said, I can see they could get busy and have longer wait times. Make this stop for local grilled sausage deliciousness.

They served mostly chori and one morci (blood) sausage sandwiches but with a twist with their toppings. You could get just the sandwich or combine with side and drink. I picked the Invitado Juan Pedro Caballero and the cashier hesitated before entering the order as she wanted me to know it was picante. I assured her it was not a problem and then paid with my credit card. After a short wait, they called my name and I picked up my choripan. it was quite the handful filled with layers of roasted peppers, tortilla chips, onions and lettuce. The tortilla chips were stale but overall I liked the flavors especially with the heat from the peppers and chipotle mayo. It was a nice twist on the popular choripan.

It came with nine mushrooms and the server sliced one in half so me and my husband would get equal shares. Big Ravioli - shrimp and salmon stuffed raviolis with Genovese cheese. The shrimp and salmon seemed fresh and actual meat. It didn't seem like canned shrimp or salmon. The sauce was composed and creamy. As far as the meat orders go - you can order a full serving or half serving which is a great option to have!
