V Nails is truly impeccable. It's the only place I trust for both my manicure and pedicure because…read morethe quality is consistently unmatched. Their natural‑looking gel manicures are my absolute favorite, I get compliments all the time, and people always assume I have nail extensions. But it's actually my real nails growing long, healthy, and strong. At other salons, my nails would get thin, weak, and break easily. Ever since coming to V Nails, my nails have become noticeably thicker and stronger, to the point where they're mistaken for fake nails. That alone says everything about their technique and products. The service is always clean, precise, and professional. I leave feeling polished every single time.

I found this nail spa by googling "non-toxic nail spa". Sure, they may use a few products that are…read more"non-toxic" but it certainly should not be marketed that way. It had plenty of unclean and chemical laden products, it's basically just your normal salon. It had harsh LED lights, fake plants on the wall, they offer you a drink of coke, sprite or water and it's definitely your run of the mill nail salon. I wish people truly understood what non toxic means as this feels a bit like a ruse. Decent salon, but certainly not a non-toxic or natural vibe.

One word-AMAZING!!! I'm so glad I finally found a lash girl who not only listens to the customer…read morebut makes suggestions and just makes the overall experience comfortable! Funny story, initially I reached out to Nikki back in 2019 for a lash service but because I still on the fence about wearing lashes on top of having numerous things come up, I kept rescheduling and just ended up canceling altogether. Fast forward to March 2022, here I go again trying to find a consistent new lash girl and I kept coming across Nikki's business on yelp, well after the few people I went to that were no gos, I said let me give her a try; not realizing this is the same girl I wanted to first go to for lashes, just wow look how things come full circle! Not only is she reasonable in price, she is quick (I was expecting 2 hours and she finished 1 hour and 30 mins I believe), I didn't get off the table with my back hurting or neither was I moving (a thing I do when I'm tired) needless to say I left out, HAPPY! I never had an experience like this! I pray that she doesn't leave Gainesville for as long as I live here or continue to get lashes because she's my lash girl now! She's so sweet and kind too! Her lash space is so inviting and calm! I just met her in person and she instantly made me feel comfortable. If your looking for a lash girl, hopefully you can get in with Nikki, she's a hidden gem!

I'm pretty new to the pedicure game, I'll have to admit, but I've tried a few places in town now…read moreand I'll say this has been my favorite spot when considering the entire experience and the value. I get the Lavender pedicure for $39 and I have a great time. Kim and Shu have both been my specialists before and both give great massages, and my feet leave feeling very smooth. Are you serious I can't buy an extra ten minutes? Not only is the answer no but the kid lectured me on how they are not a reflexology place. Ok.... Then they did not have the hot pink color I wanted so I had to modify there as well and settle. Ok... They do offer complimentary water and wine, but do beware, you are only allowed one glass. Wtf? I'm going to the hospital, was going to be getting a couple hours of mani / pedi service, spend well over $100 with you and you lecture me that I can't have a second glass of wine? Uh, no... Li is lovely and worth seeing if you go to the salon. Stay away from Noire as it's not high end as it appears to be and definitely not worth the up-charged prices. May as well go to a ratty nail shop instead and save $$$. We women gladly pay $$$ to relax and be pampered. It is very upsetting to go somewhere expecting pampering and not receive it.

This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon…read more I paid $85 for a pedicure, and that is with a discount because it was my first time there and honestly, I don't feel like I should have been charged at all based on the service I received. The problems started immediately. I told the technician that I had gel polish on my toes, and instead of properly removing it, she started drilling it off. It was painful, and I told her she was going to damage my nails. Eventually, another technician came over and removed it. It still wasn't done the way I'm used to, but at least it wasn't hurting me. Next, I asked to see the polish colors. They only had one small basket of polish, and many of the bottles looked old with chipped paint and worn labels. When I asked if they had color books or additional options, I was told, "This is it." The actual pedicure was rushed from start to finish. I even timed it because it felt so fast. Every step, including the hot stones, lotion, and oil, lasted about five minutes or less. The technician never cut my toenails, cleaned up my cuticles, shaped them, or even filed them before applying polish. These are basic parts of a pedicure. By the time she started painting my nails, I was honestly trying not to cry from frustration. The polish application looked sloppy and uneven. It genuinely looked like a child had painted my toenails. When she finished painting, I told her I was done and ready to leave. She insisted there were more steps, but at that point I had completely lost confidence in the service. I went to the front to pay, and another employee asked if I wanted a manicure. After the experience I had just had, I couldn't believe she was seriously asking. I was visiting from out of town and was in a pinch to get my nails done. Big lesson learned. I would not return, and I definitely would not recommend this salon.
