I've been here several times and the service is always kind of disappointing. The first time we waited 30 minutes before we were helped and the people were somewhat friendly but most of the time kind of acted as if I was a burden. I had gotten a full set of acrylic nails and it wasn't too bad but the designs weren't what I had asked for and they were somewhat sloppy. The acrylics lasted quite some time so the quality was fine but the paint job was not. It was kind of expensive compared to other places I have been. In town for a wedding, this place was able to take five of us fairly quickly (on a Tuesday morning). It is a little pricier than we're used to on the West coast, especially if you get the shellac/gel, but the facilities are very clean and sanitary, the staff is friendly, and our spa pedicures felt and look great. read more

I've been here for a pedicure before and it was a great experience.. I went there to get a pink/white gel manicure and the the guy who did my nails seemed annoyed that i wanted the pink & whites as I guess they aren't as easy and quick as acrylics.. He was so rough on my nails that the skin around my nails started bleeding. He also did absolutely NOTHING to with my cuticles. I've gone to other places in the past and they always fix up my cuticles. It was like I was inconveniencing him and he wanted to be done with me as soon as possible. All that negative aside, my nails themselves looked perfect in the end.. minus the cuts, and the fact that my cuticles still looked like crap. But because he was so rough on me and his attitude kind of stunk, I probably won't return.. I'll make the drive up to Akron to go to the place I used to get them done at. read more

A couple of years ago I had been looking for a nail salon I went to LV and I was very pleased. It is a very busy salon but runs like a well-oiled machine. My nail stylist is Debbie and she is wonderful she is friendly, funny, experienced and thorough. I highly recommend this nail salon. I got in right away on a Sunday afternoon. Same man did my manicure and pedicure - he was thorough and precise, though he really did not talk to me. The facility is nice - has massage chairs for your pedicure and is fairly quiet and calming despite a lot of people getting it done at once. Shellac on my fingers lasted 2 weeks until it chipped - I do wish it lasted a little longer, but it at least got me through my vacation. This place doesn't even deserve one star! Went in on a Thursday morning was told it was a 30 minute wait, no big deal. Ended up waiting 2 hours before I even sat in a chair. The guy doing my nails was super slow! Was trying to rip my nails off. Had a lady next to me sit down right after me and was done before me. I was there a total of two and a half hours and my nails didn't even get done. They wanted to charge me $35 for taking my old set off. I walked out. That business will not have any recommendations from me. They need to work on better costomer service. Lying to clients is not how you make money read more

Me and my friend both went in to get full set for the first time. Everything was fine until right before my person put on my polish she told me to pay before she was done. After that I was drying and the nail polish was sloppy and poorly done as well as the gel coat which was put on too thick and there were ridges on my nail. On top of that my friends tech had completely left one side of her nail unpainted and when asked for it to be fixed he blamed her for bumping her nail! After he painted it once it looked even more terrible and we left. Do not go here first of all it's expensive, low quality and I have seen nail salons look and perform better!! Not impressed with this salon at all. My boyfriend and I went to get "basic" pedis together. We signed in together and sat down to wait. At first, they tried to take me back for my pedi without him. I asked if there was a chair open for him too because we were there together. The guy said yes and took us both back. My pedi was started and nearly finished before anyone even came out to start his. They could have at least filled the water for him until another tech was available. The whole point of us getting pedis together was so we could get them done together. Not to mention, I do my own gel polish. So I didn't need anything fancy. I didn't even get to soak my feet more than two minutes. Literally got my feet wet and he did a quick massage and was done. Boyfriend's was about the same. Our total came to $76. In my opinion, overpriced for that service we got. Completely disappointed in the entire experience. read more

The tech was more focused on giving me a 5 minute calf and ankle massage than working on my nails. The massage feels good, but that's not why I'm there. She didn't push back my cuticles, just painted over them. She didn't clean underneath my nails either. I had to ask her to paint the edges of my nails, she said that she was, but she didn't. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Maybe another tech would have done a better job, but I'll not be going back to find out. read more

I've been a customer of LV Nails for 8 years and I've never been more disappointed with my experience then I was today. I went in to get a shellac manicure and was asked to pick my color. She didn't like the color I chose and said it wouldn't look nice so she picked one for me. One that I didn't like. I am sitting there soaking my nails and she takes another client (while many other techs are sitting waiting for business) and the water my hands were soaking in quickly became ice cold. She does my nails and she asks me if I wanted my nails filed down... I said no, I like the exactly how they are, I just want shellac out on them. So she takes the file and files them so short and round. My nails were a perfect square how I like them and long. So then she continues with the color - the color that she insisted I have and the polish is bubbly and shrinking on my nail beds. She didn't correct the bubbles or the shrinking of polish on my nails she just kept going. She then gets lotion to massage my hands and arms. She rubs the lotion on me for about 40 seconds and leaves my arms and hands soaking wet with lotion so that when I went to pay, I couldn't get my credit card because it was so slippery. Needless to say, I do not recommend this salon. I'm very dissatisfied with my service and I will never return to this salon. For being a loyal customer - I feel this was wrong and I refuse to give this company another dollar of mine as you should too. read more

wanted to get my nails done for the beach so i got acrylics for only $30 but broke one in 2 days and had broken 4 in less than a week, when i called to see if they could fix my nail since it had only been two days they told me they were too busy and id have to come back later even though it was only one nail. wouldn't recommend to anyone at all. pay the extra $5-$10 and go somewhere else. read more

Went there and got shellac done. The man took an hour and 15 minutes to do my nails, mind you I did not get the manicure. I do not know why it took so long. On top of that he was hitting on me, went to smoke. He smelled awful like cigarette smoke when he came back. read more

My daughter and I have been coming here for a long time. 1 week ago I came and there was a new girl Heather who was doing my nails within a few minutes the guy sorry (I don't know your name) who takes the appointment came over and tried showing her what she needed to do explaining she was new and need to learn there way! She finished my nails and they were all different lengths and shapes but she was so sweet apologizing and saying next time they will be perfect. Well within a few days they all started to chip and by today day 6 they were a mess. So I went into the shop and explained of course I was sat down and my entire nails had to be re-done. Now I don't expect anything for nothing but I was charged full price despite the fact that my nails that I usually have done every 2-3 weeks didn't last a wee! Really not good customer service as now I'm looking for someone new to do my nails and I live here full time and so was a good customer that you just lost.
