Trying a new stylist is a terrifying experience for me. I am really particular about my hair. I had…read morebox braids for about 5 weeks and after I took them out and detangled (mostly) my hair I decided to get some professional help. Quality of service 10/10 - Wash, condition, trim, style. She takes care while detangling your hair, she does not rip through or cause breakage. It's great. Timeliness 10/10 - I never had to wait between and of the hair care steps. Results 10/10 - I got my hair straightened with a bit of a curl to add layers and movement. The curls lasted for an entire week and I worked out a few times. The roots got a little frizzy from sweat but no hair dresser can prevent that! Little things: keeping you dry with a nice microfiber cloth at the base of your neck after deep condition!!! Good conversation. She seems like a genuinely decent human being. Which is always nice lol Even the location is great. I cannot overstate how happy I am with this salon. I will be returning! My nails looked good for a day or two, if you don't count the fact that they were cut too short. I asked for almond shape and got short oval-I can't even file them to almond shape because they are too short. And instead of using the top coat for dip nails he used a clear gel which had to be cured in the lamp. Part of the reason for dip instead of gel is to not use the lamp. Within a few days they started chipping and my actual nails started breaking because the tips of the dip disappeared. I had to file my nail down just to meet the dip and I'm going to have to get at least 3 tips when I get my nails done again (at another place). I'm very disappointed in this experience and do not recommend this place.
