I have been coming here for 4.5years. My regular mail guy, Scott is amazing, however he is out of the country. A long hair man is in charge today and is apparently in charge. I walked in @ 12:27, I was told 30 mins. I signed in and walk down to another store and returned 27th s later. Then I was informed at least another 1 hour to 1.5 hrs. I then left my phone number and was called to come back. I came back @1:37... long hair told me that he had a tech ready and they waited. I was back in less than 15 mins. Which was the time limit that he stated to me on the phone. I waited 10 more minutes and long hair kept repeating a few more minutes....I verbalized my frustration as to the misinformation of the timeframe. He then told me I could leave. Seemed overall a rushed manicure for a fortune. A gel mani was $45. I live in Boston full-time, and I've never paid $45 for a gel mani. A day or two after my manicure I noticed the polish seemed cheap and discolored. Less than a week later and it looks like my nails are dirty. My family is new to the area, so I had to find another nail salon. LV Nails is located at the Belden Village Mall. After not having a good experience at another local solan, I tried LV. The salon is very busy with staff and customers. It was very clean and organized. Brian did my SPA mani/ped, which I enjoyed. He was very detailed and ckd on me to make sure I was pleased. I debated on making this review because I don't like to talk bad on others but I would rather make it so someone else could save their money. My sister & I made an appointment for a fill on a acrylic set days before appointment. When we got there we had to wait 45 minutes because they didn't have anyone there who was not busy experienced in fills. Then I finally get taken back. I show her a reference picture & she told me she was unable to do it. Which is fine, so I asked what she was able to do to make it similar. She tells me she will show me in a bit. She starts prepping, she does not ask whether I would like gel or not & continues. I start to realize towards the end she is not putting my nails under the light & it was regular polish. My occupation has a lot typing so I prefer gel. Even then I leave it alone because she already finished one hand so I did not want to be rude and have her start over. Once she is done I can already tell it is not going to dry correctly & slide because of how many layers was put on. I stayed in the dryer they had for over ten minutes, which is how long she told me to. As soon as I walked out the door & grab the handle my nail polish is mushed everywhere. I immediately get discouraged because I had paid over $60 not including tip, so I ask her if she could just do gel because it's mushed & I wanted gel in the first place, she says well oh yeah I forgot to ask you that's going to be an extra $20, even though I was only asking her to do 8 out of ten of my fingers because my ring finger did not mush because she polished it with a shiny top coat & did not put as many layers. Still I paid the extra money. The butterflies she did on the ring finger was poorly done, they were basically covered with the nail polish so kind of pointless design. So I said to myself I will not be coming here again and I won't make a review it's fine. A week goes by and today just from opening my car door half of the nail pops off. So not only did I have to wait even though I made an appt prior, did not receive what I wanted, had to have it redone, over charged, not even the nail was durable. I am so disappointed. Getting my nails done with my sister is supposed to be a fun thing for us to do but because of this experience it felt like a huge hassle and a waste of money. I have heard very good things from this salon. Went in today after a long week of work to relax. Instead, I was greeted and then watched over like a hawk as I picked out a color for my pedicure. I then sat down only to be pressured into considering gel polish after clarifying regular polish wash fine, and having to make small talk over my feet while I was just trying to relax. My feet are not smooth, my polish color is way more nude then I picked out, and my lotion was not even rubbed in fully. I was rushed to get out of the salon in under 35 minutes, even with spending $50 for a deluxe package. Very disappointed with service, I would never recommend this salon to anyone. read more

So I was completely surprised by their pricing. They said they charged $25 JUST for gel polish on top of $22 for the fill in. They actually charge you the price of the bottle of polish just to get your nails painted. I travel all around the country getting my nails done (because of work), but I've NEVER seen prices like this! $50 for a gel fill in with gel polish!?! Are you serious?! I live in Chicago and even the spas will charge you $35 at the most. Ridiculous. Soooo....i went to Sally's, which is 0.5miles away and purchased 3 bottles of gel polish for $22 and got my nails done with my own polish that I can use over and over again. ..without them charging me for it. read more

I'd gone to this nail salon for a long time until I found somewhere new to go that I liked better, but the new place was all booked for 2 weeks so I decided to go to LV. I needed my nails done for my senior prom so I wanted them to look good. I told him I wanted a black nail with silver glitter ombré... and this is what I got. I was so upset and he charged me $5 extra for "nail art". Also he drilled my natural nail down so far I had grooves in my natural nail, it was very painful. I went here for the first time today for a mani-pedi. Good: very clean greeted as I walked in I was there very early and there was only one other person but I did notice that they have a ton of stations so I doubt even at their busiest there would be much wait time - 18 pedi and about 10 manicure plus two airbrush stations. The pedi stations are separate from the mani stations Pedi chairs have an incredible massager Bad: opened 10 minutes after posted time couldn't understand my manicurist couldn't find any information about the spa offerings (there are brochures for the nail and pedi services but I couldn't find anything about the spa so I was starting to doubt there were any actual spa treatments until I saw a vague description of massages on a wall posting but I have no idea what all the spa offerings are or their cost which is a shame because I'd love a place for a regular massage.) In light of the fact that they have a ton of stations I can see a problem arising in that they only have 4 seats at the drying station My pedi was alright except they didn't clear off nearly enough of the dry dead skin, let's face it that's the primary reason most people get a pedi, painted toe nails in themselves aren't worth paying $33 I could have probably cleaned off as much on my own at home committed two of my biggest pet peeves- they constantly spoke to each other in a different language which a lot of people, me included, find rude - second they just sat me down at the drying station without giving me any indication how long I should sit there. A pedi on it's own is $33. A mani is $17 you get both for $45 with tax it was $47.81. read more

A friend and I recently visited the salon for the first time last week. The facility was clean and carefully thought out, and I liked the pedicure chairs in the rear. We both received pedicures and I opted for a polish change as well. It was his first pedicure and his nail tech was considerate and attentive to his experience and comfort being a "first timer". Mine was nice, and did a good basic job but really didn't go the extra mile in service. The bummer of the experience was the polish on my fingernails were chipping the very next day. (They had not been submerged in water, nor had I done any manual labor in this time.) I called the salon to speak to someone and let them know. A male employee answered and after I explained to him what had happened, he told me nail polish only lasts a day, or maybe two on the fingernails. This as most women know is ridiculous. I told him when I manicure myself, and others, the polish is intact for at least five days with no chips, etc... He disagreed. The way the matter was addressed by him really tainted my experience of the salon. read more

This is my second time visiting this salon. It is fairly clean. The tools come in an individual sealed bag. I did witness the staff cleaning each pedi chair after use which is a good situation. My complaint is that the staff talks more to each other than they do their clients. I'm not looking for a new best friend, but I was there solo for my mani and then met up with a friend for my pedi. The ENTIRE time I was getting my mani the person giving it to me talked to the person next to him. I attempted to make small talk a few times and just gave up. I feel that it is highly unprofessional to completely ignore the customer. I It seems like the entire staff is there to hang out with each other and the customers are just a pure inconvenience. I admit I am not a regular customer so I don't have an established rapport with them, but everyone is a new(ish) customer at some point. I was not made to feel welcomed at all. My pedi girl was very sweet, so I don't want to discount her, but she can't save a place with 20 other rude employees. My mani (shellac) and pedi were fine, no complaints on durability. This is the best mani/pedi I've ever gotten. We were in Canton for a wedding and needed desperately a mani/pedi. We found LV by searching online and how lucky we were. The service was great, fast and friendly. The prices were good specially given the quality. The guys that did our nails were really friendly and on point with their work. The salon itself is very clean and they have a lot of nail polish to choose from. If I ever visit canton again I would certainly go back. They did a great job. read more

I've never been to a nail salon or had my nails done, and I told this to my tech. I wanted a manicure and was told a "full set" since I bite my nails. I did not get a manicure, the nails were crooked and mis-shapen, did not even go to my cuticle. My tech was very unprofessional... her top left her belly showing, short shorts, she was on her phone and was vaping. She did not talk hardly at all... she tapped on the light box for me to put my hands in. The manager tried to make things right, but I will probably never be back... So, I called LV nails to make an appointment today and she asked me to hold on. However, it's now been 10 minutes and I'm still on hold. I can hear the employees complaining you can't call the same day and get an appointment for the same day. However, you can walk in or make me an appointment for a different day. I can also hear the customers, how much they are paying, The color they've picked out and if they want their nails cut down. I can hear the girl who sits up front zipping her Fanny pack when the employees ask for 2 fives. She's the one who answered the phone by the way and also the one complaining about appointments, Lol. I think I'll hang on forever. It's now at 15 minutes. 18 minutes. I heard the Fanny pack zipper again. Almost half an hour on hold. I wonder if anyone else can call in or does it ring busy?! Sounds like someone picked up the phone and is walking with it, no it's a file. 24 minutes and still going strong. 33 minutes on hold. I just tried to call in on another phone and its busy. Holy crap. They don't even care. Pathetic. 37 minutes. Hahaha! 40 minutes. They are eating something spicy must be lunch time. Tacos!!!! This, BY FAR, HANDS DOWN, is the worst nail salon EVER!! The customer service alone is absolutely HORRENDOUS! I'm sure she thought she hung up on me because I asked about an appointment. 47 minutes! I just whistled really LOUD, nothing. 50 minutes! I needed a pedi on a Sunday so I skipped my usual place and tried L V. At first glance this place is ok. I got offered a drink and I got a coke, that's a plus. The pedicure was pretty nice, I opted for a sugar scrub which is extra but it felt really good. I got a French polish that chipped with in 4 days. It totally bummed me out since I was on vacation and wanted my toes to look good for the beach and my flip flops. Won't be back! read more

I got a wonderful gel manicure from a young lady here! It lasted for a month without chipping, and I received many compliments on it. The nail tech did a great job of shaping my nails and took the time to paint them very neatly. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was that I came in with a friend, hoping that we would be able to have our manicures done at the same time, and she had to wait about 20 minutes to get a tech. We were walk-ins, though, so that more than likely contributed to the wait. read more

Went here to get nails done for wedding. I went here at 8:35pm and clearly on the door it says that the hours are from 10:00am - 9:00pm. I don't know what their attitudes were all about but they did claim they don't take any more customers after 8:30pm! What! You can complete only a pedicure in 20 minutes?! I came here to get a acrylic fill and to get one of my toe nails fixed since I chipped it. My toenails were just done 2 weeks ago and I usually wait a month between to get them repainted. I put my name down and the lady told me to follow her to the back at the pedicure chairs. I could tell she was prepared to give me a full pedicure, so I stopped her and explained that I just needed her to fix 1 chipped toenail. She went and got another guy to do it but he argued with me that my name was not called and I shouldn't be at the pedicure station. So I explained that the other lady did indeed say my name and told me to follow her, and I just wanted 1 toenail fixed. He became more and more aggressive and speaking his language and even went to get the sign in sheet which he again pointed at MY NAME so I told him "don't worry about it, I'll just get my fill for my hands and I'll fix my own toes." I walked in wanting to book an appointment and was told to write my name down in their walk in book and then come back in the estimated time ( the man behind the counter told me an hour). The time I waited was about correct. I believe I waited a little more than an hour, but was a fairly accurate time which was one of the only good things. I asked for color tips on my acrylic nails which was what I had already, I just needed a fill. The guy who did my nails argued with me that my nails were not acrylic and they were gel, and I can assure you they are acrylic powder nails. He then told me he has to take the whole nail off and start new and it would not be a fill it was going to be charged as a removal and a new set, which instead of 35$ it ended up being almost 60$. I said fine let's do it, since I was visiting from out of town and my nails were getting way too long. When he did the acrylic color tips he added the color first and then scraped off the excess with fake nails instead of the metal tool I've always seen used, and then he filled in the rest of my nail with a super dark pink acrylic which makes my nails look pink and purple and not just normal nails with a colored French tip. After he filled all my nails almost half the nail is color and half is the dark pink. He filled my nails to even them out and in doing so filled down some parts of the color tips so now there are gaps in the color on some of my nails. The nail tech added the top coat to make the nail shiny and when he was checking I'd the top coat was dry he paused and looked at certain parts of my nails but didn't point anything out, after I had paid I looked closer to what he had seen on my nails and there are several bumps and hair or fuzz in at least half my nails. I didn't have time to sit and get them all redone so I left but I did tell them I was not satisfied and had gotten pretty much no reaction. I had also asked for an eyebrow wax and when I was being cashed out I said something again and the nail tech told me the person who does that was busy and i would have to wait another hour at the point I said never mind I wasn't waiting anymore and I had already paid for the nail service so I walked out and the nail tech who had done my nails came outside and told me the lady was ready now and had gotten done earlier than he thought. All in all I won't be coming back, I'll drive up to boardman to the nail techs there, I've never had a problem with any salon there. read more

The price was good at $45 for a mani-pedi package, but they were very busy when I went (around 1:30 on Sat) & I had to wait about 20 mins. They only do walk-ins on weekends (they do take appts during the week), but they have couches & chairs to relax in. Their nailpolish wall wasn't organized in any way by color, brand, etc - a huge pet peev of mine. The pedicure room in the back was much more quiet & relaxing than the busy and somewhat loud manicure/waiting area. The person that did my nails did a fantastic job though, probably one of the best I've had. I'd definately go back, but I'll pass on going weekends and opt to schedule an appointment during the week in hopes of it being less crowded & a quieter, more relaxong atmosphere. read more
