*** Update: The Office Manager reached out to me, sent me all the documents to my email and gave me…read moreher contact information. She was extremely helpful and fast at helping me resolve my issue. It seems there was a misunderstanding about the statement I was asking for and it takes time for insurance companies to square away payments with dental offices. She removed me from their Collection List immediately. Thank God this mis-step won't affect my credit report. My issue has been completely resolved. I paid for my dental services through a payment plan for my wisdom teeth extraction. Almost a year after I had the procedure and finished the payment plan, I received a call that I owed $213 due to my insurance company not covering the anesthesia is what the office told me. I told them please send me a paper bill and I would like to contact my insurance company before I pay it. I have been waiting for the paper bill and have not received any notice from the office. Again, I called and they updated my address, told me the amount has been adjusted to $196 and said the Office Manager would reach out to me. I never received a call from her. Again, I just called the office to see what is the update with receiving the bill and they informed me that they placed the balance in Collection. I have not received any notice from a Collection Agency yet. I never received a due date or even statement notice to see what the amount was for specifically. I am working on my credit and think it is truly unfair that I didn't receive any notice besides a phone call regarding the balance. I have reported this issue to the Better Business Bureau and am still waiting to hear from the Office Manager.

TLDR: This business is an operational mess, complete with incompetent & rude staff. When they make…read moremajor failure after failure, they will sweep it under the rug, lie about options, & take zero accountability. When you make a mistake of being 13 min late, Brandi will take pride in throwing their stone policy book at you & refuse you. Full story: I scheduled an apt with a young gentleman during my last apt in May. Showed up on time for my appointment in Sept & was told I had no appointment scheduled that day or at all & they would not see me. I was extremely frustrated: I woke up early, drove far, & took an hour off work. I was hesitant to reschedule & asked how they make these situations right. The front desk rep said there was nothing they could do, that man who "scheduled" my last apt is no longer working for them, & implied he left them a mess to clean up. I was not happy with this response, & she told me she'd call me back same day after talking to her manager. As expected, I never heard back. A week later I called for an update & was told the manager had been out all week, which conflicts with what I was originally told & felt like a lie to cover, & still didn't excuse the lack of a follow-up call she promised. Brandi (manager) then called, apologized they no-showed me, & said sternly there was nothing more they could do & they "never comp services because it would be insurance fraud." I insisted they make up for my wasted time & explained that in the past I declined an X-ray my insurance didn't cover, & the doctor insisted on taking it & comped it. When I confronted her on her lie to avoid taking accountability, she agreed to talk to her boss & call back by the next day. Again, I received no call back. When I reached out, she said she tried to call & offer a complimentary fluoride treatment. I had no missed calls, but I accepted. I showed up for the rescheduled 7 a.m. appointment 13 minutes late (100% my fault). Brandi refused to let the hygienist see me, saying they need a FULL hour before their 8 a.m. appointment to do a cleaning & flip the room. I own being late, however they had more than 45 minutes before the next patient & still refused to see me for a simple cleaning. Brandi could have been human, taken all the failures I experienced into consideration, & made an exception for me being a mere 13 late. Instead she took delight in hiding behind policy, was snarky during our convos & raised her voice when explaining rules are rules. Stay far away from this office and their orchard office if you value your time and energy.

First, they took a mold of my teeth, which was very painful. It put a lot of pressure on the teeth when they pulled it out. I was back a couple days later with extreme sensitivity in my two front teeth (veneers). I was given some gel to put on it, and told that it was probably a bit of cement that came loose, exposing a sensitive area on my tooth. It did get better, so I waited for my night guard. When it came in, I went in to pick it up and tried it on. I immediately winced and explained that it was putting a lot of pressure on my front teeth. I was concerned that it was going to break off my veneer. However, Dr. Burchfield insisted that it fit correctly, and that it would not hurt my teeth. He said it was just in my head and I was saying non-truths. He told me to where it for a week, and I would get used to it. Less than a week later, I finally stopped wearing it, as it was hurting my teeth way too bad. After some of the pain subsided, I felt like I could move my front tooth with my tongue. Sure enough, I looked in the mirror and it was wiggling. I called immediately to make an appointment to see him again. He checked the tooth, and said that the veneer was fine and not loose. He did acknowledge though that my tooth was loose, and said that this was normal. NORMAL?! My tooth was not loose before you made me wear this mis-fit night guard that I told you was putting extreme pressure on my front teeth, and now one of them are loose and you think that's just normal? He said that was just my opinion. I demanded a refund for the night guard, that he wanted to try and remake, and said I would be seeing another dentist for a second opinion. The day I got the fitting I also had X-rays, so I'm curious to see the difference from then until now (after wearing the night guard). While he did refund me the $175, that doesn't come close to making it right. I now have a loose tooth! From what I understand, that will be permanent, and the only resolution would be to pull it and get an implant. Otherwise, I'll have a wiggly tooth that is likely more susceptible to infection. I wish I had never gotten a mouth guard, and that I had never trusted Dr. Burchfield. I understand people make mistakes, but he won't acknowledge his and make it right, and I have to suffer for it.
