Teeth cleanings are very thorough, and both hygenists and Dr. Takemoto give reliable advice on problem areas and treatment options. The whole staff did an excellent job relaxing me during fillings as a kid--I remember they brought out a huge teddy bear for me to hold. Dr. Takemoto has my highest recommendation. I had a crown break and come off over the weekend. Searched the internet for dentists on Monday. Dr. Wallin had great reviews. I called and his office was closed until Tuesday. I was not in pain, so left a message expecting an appointment within a couple of weeks. Tuesday morning I receive a call from Dr. Wallin's office telling me they could fit me in at 11am that morning! When Dr. Wallin and his assistants examined by crown situation, he told me that they had a last minute cancellation and he would be able to fit me for a new crown right then!! Additionally, I explained that I was late for a cleaning. He checked with his Hygienist, and she said she would clean my teeth while I was there too! Less than 2 hours later I walked out following a full dental exam, complete set of new xrays, and a sonar teeth cleaning to boot. Dr. Wallin provided me with a full consultation about the condition of my teeth, gums and mouth. One of his nurses gave me an injection prior to preparing my new crown and I never felt even a pinch from the needle. The office manager fully explained all itemized costs prior to any procedures and what my insurance would cover. The prices were more than reasonable ( I have had plenty of dental work). I left the office feeling like I just met a bunch of new trustworthy friends who really cared about my health. Everyone was professional, polite, demonstrated experienced care, and extremely friendly. I am glad they had room to accept me as a new patient.

This is THE BEST dental office I've ever been to. It's true, as another reviewer mentioned, that you might come in and then have to make extra appointments. I think that depends on the staff available and what other patients need, and perhaps if one's appointment is on a weekend (I was there this time on Saturday and will come back for my fillings in 2 weeks). I went in last year, however, and needed molar extraction, which they did on the spot -- painlessly, I might add! They also have a great credit partner in Cherry Credit, so that was a real plus as well. Along those same lines of finances, I find them to be the most non-pushy dental office I've been to, offering the various options of treatment, and then respecting the patient's decisions on that. All in all, all staff---front desk to hygienists to the DDS staff--are exceptional, and I never dread going to the dentist now. I called the group I had contacted when making my choice last summer and asked to get an appointment with them for my next cleaning. It is not much farther away, but I will not be able make a bus connection to it as I had this one. But close enough to get a friend ride or a ride share. I also noticed when I called to cancel the next appointment that they are still using the recorded message that both dentists are available and gave emergency numbers for both. That was very misleading also. I want to reiterate that the glowing reviews on Yelp from past years do not represent the current status of this practice. I did not see any of the former staff last month. It's really a shame.
