You know when you go in to get your hair and make up done and have "Pinterest Expectations"? Well, that's exactly what I got yesterday when Janette did my hair and make up for a wedding I was in. As she did my make up I could tell she was so passionate about what she does, and it all came so natural to her. She was super fast too, but didn't cut any corners (you can tell she's a perfectionist bc she evaluated her work in the process and not after the job was done). She made sure I was happy with the end product which showed she cares a lot about her customers. I knew I was going to walk out looking amazing after she was done from the time I walked in. She was so organized and ready to go! I was 100% satisfied with my hair and make up. She was done at about 1045am and everything lasted the entire day and night! I was so surprised. My curls didn't come out and my make up did not smear through all the happy tears. I did not remove my make up last night and this morning it still looks amazing considering it been on almost 24hrs. I went to L makeup studio for a spray tan. It is something I've always wanted to do but was hesitant due to the fact that I needed (not necessarily but I didn't want to have lots of lines. You can wear disposable tube bra and/or underwear if you want) to strip down. I've recently lost 35 pounds and have 3 kids under 5 so my body isn't in the best shape. But the girl was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable that I almost forgot I was standing in front of her naked! She did such an amazing job. I was not orangey at all! My husband referred to me as a "golden goddess" which was just the look I was going for. My tan lasted a good 7 days. I can't wait to go back! read more

INCREDIBLE GROUP OF GIRLS. Four ladies did our hair and makeup (6 bridesmaids, bride, mother of the bride) last weekend and I was super impressed. I had a small hiccup, like when you like a style on someone else and it looks horrible on yourself? Yes that moment. Anyways, the hair stylist quickly swooped the do into this beautiful one sided, braids in the back mermaid thing. It was gorg. The gal who did my makeup (she has cute heart tats on her feet) asked some questions about my comfort level (I told her porn star, hehe) and gave me exactly what I wanted. I'm in love with l makeup studio, and have been following these extremely taalented ladies since their first location, I get all my spray tans here and always receive so many compliments on my gorgeous tan, I have never had an issue with them and refer many spray tan clients as well, besides spray tans I have used them for my mothers wedding and family photos, again they nailed it and we looked not only beautiful but felt it! A couple things about this studio. My friend came here for a Spray tan and received instant results and it looked great, a couple hours later she looked like a zebra mind you she did EVERYTHING they told her to do as to prepping so we don't know what went wrong here. On a second note, I recently got married in June and hired the two girls that work the salon. Myself and my bridal party of 6 had to be ready at 2:30pm. The artist came at 10:30am. We did not get finished til almost 4pm. Needless to say we were late for pictures. Thirdly two of my bridesmaids makeup was completely off by the end of the ceremony, a few tears were dropped during the ceremony but they got airbrush done for that specific point, that it would not come off!! To pay all that money for airbrush and to only last two hours is rediculous. Lastly, I had to reapply my eyes lashes ( $20 ) that were purchased through them four times during my wedding. I buy eye lashes from CVS for $5 and will last me ALL day. I am not impressed with this place. The only good thing I have to say is the girls are very friendly and know exactly what kind of look that you want but the look only last a couple hours. Not worth the money. Might as well went to MAC and paid $50. read more

I love this place! Janet is absolutely amazing! I get spray tans at her studio. Janet is very thorough and professional. She gives me little sticky feet papers so I don't tan the bottom of my feet and moves me around in different angles to make sure that my tan is even and flawless! She has a dryer I just stand in front of to make sure I am nice and dry before I leave. I usually pick the tanning option that I can leave on overnight but I know she has a fast tanning option that you don't have to leave on for too long, maybe 3 hrs or so? Not too sure of the timing on that. Apart from my tanning Janet has also done my makeup for a wedding and did the whole wedding party's as well, bride included. It was perfect! Janet has been pretty flexible with the timing of my appointments and she is quick to answer her messages. I highly recommend her and her team! read more

The woman who did my make-up was kind, listened to me and had no problem when I asked her to make one small adjustment to the final look. I recently had Ana do my makeup as well as my sister and mother. She is amazing! My makeup lasted from 2pm until after 10 when we left! All my pictured turned out incredible. She is so sweet and easy to talk to and SO good at getting the look you want. I didn't show her a picture just explained a little and she got it spot on! She convinced me to do airbrush and I'm so glad I did. It looked incredible and so did my mom and sister! We all got fake eyelashes as well and they were awesome. Not only was she so great with her makeup but also she stayed so much later then was planned! I was the only person she was planning on doing makeup for and told me she had a birthday party to go to for makeup. She stayed and ended up doing makeup for my mom and sister! She is so sweet and so good at what she does! I also get tanned by her in the salon. The type of spray they use is my favorite. I've gotten many sprays at other salons and a couple have scared me away for a while. When I found Ana and used St. Tropez I loved it! I like the look of a more dark tan not at all golden. To me, golden = orange. It is a perfect color. This salon is awesome. They sell things cute stuff and are really good at what they do. Totally recommend it! read more

I contacted Janet through her website, and she responded promptly to all my inquiries and subsequent communications. During the trial make-up run, she was thorough and conscientious about asking me how I wanted my make-up to look. She looked at sample pictures of make-up looks I showed her. Janette was wonderful, again. This time, I went in for the weekend eyelash extensions. Called her right before Christmas and luckily for me, Janette worked me into her schedule. The lashes look great - very natural, AND after 4 days, still look perfect! The weekend lashes are a quick alternative to the full extensions and a fraction of the price. The application took less than half an hour. In a pinch & need a fast eyelash fixer, the weekend lashes are well worth it. read more
