The owner is incredibly sweet, welcoming, and accommodating, and you can tell she genuinely cares about every client who walks through the door. The whole salon has a great atmosphere and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. I booked them via the Yelp app, and it was very easy to book the apt. The woman cutting my hair was nice-however, I came here to get my hair "trimmed/dusted" and I left here with tons of layers and short hair! I'm soooo pissed I went here, since my hair does not grow and everyone was finally telling me how long my hair was looking! I told them via text and also in person to just dust my ends, and that all I wanted was a baby trim. Yet I left with hair that's at least 1-1.5 inches shorter and LAYERS like Farrah Fawcett!! :((( I said "dust the ends" which is 1/4 inch shorter, not, give me a new haircut and style....I was quoted $65 but was charged $85 (since she blow dried my hair). When she was done, she said "Not too short, not too long" ummm noooo girl, it was getting long until you ruined it with all the layers and cut you just did. Now it's "Waaay too short". I'm super upset I went here and I wish I never did, because I would still have my length. And now because my hair does not grow, it will be at least a year to get the length back from what she cut off. read more

Nasim was my stylist. I moved here from LA and I used to get my hair done by top hair stylists. Between Morgan Hill and San Jose it took me two years to find a good hair stylist. I had my hair cut , colored and highlighted by Nasim. It is really difficult finding a person who can do a great job with blonde hair. Nasim is friendly, listened to my needs and did a great job. I hate spending a whole morning at the hair salon but Nasim is fast and efficient.. I didn't have to cut my own hair afterwards (like I had to do with other stylists, when one side is longer than the other). I am so relieved and thankful I found her. read more

I have never been disappointed by this place until Saturday 2/21 - I strongly do not recommend Nasim.. I went in for a simple color & trim, she ignored all my requests & basically did whatever she wanted. I had my hair a bit past my butt & I specifically told her I wanted to keep it LONG, I only wanted a trim to get the dead ends off & I asked for a U shape with long layers, she chopped off nearly half of my hair! DID NOT get a U shape & the layers are F*** up! She gave me the most choppiest layers, I have shorter layers in the back & longer layers towards the front.. huh?? For color I asked for brown which I had already gotten there previously about 6 months ago & it came out good! I don't know what she did, the top of my hair is super light & the rest of my hair going down is dark.. NOT what I asked for. So now I have no choice but to live with this hideous haircut until it grows out so I can get it redone & ima have to box dye my hair myself since I already spend nearly $300 for the service + tip!! I've been looking for a new hairstylist in town and Nocy came highly recommended from a local moms group. I reached out to her via text a few weeks ago and she was responsive and asked a few questions along with photos of my current hair and what I was hoping to achieve from my appointment. Scheduling was fairly simple and she was able to accommodate my needs and gave an accurate estimate of how long my appointment would take. The salon is cute, clean and easy to find and I had no issues with parking. On the day of the appointment, Nocy was available on time and ready to go - this is a HUGE deal for me because I often find that hair appointments usually start late. She started right away by asking questions, assessing the state of my current hair and listening to my normal hair care/hair style routine. The appointment lasted 4.75 hours (balayage, trim and style). Im not a big conversationalist and she respected that and never made me feel awkward during our long appt.
