Unfortunately no chance to rate the quality. I called two days ago asking about reservations because their portal online was down. She told me they don't do reservations, so I asked what time they opened on Saturday & she confirmed 10am. We arrived at 9:59am and waited until 10:15am and they were still closed. Left because I did not want to wait around with my 2yo anymore. read more

This dumb bitch I asked for a 2 block, and to taper on the sides and the back, she decides hey it looks prettier this way and starts fading it on the sides and the back. Who in their right might cuts peoples hair how they want and not the person paying for the service?!? read more

I don't usually write hair salon reviews, but I can't even begin how impressed I am with this salon. When it comes to haircutting and styling, Tammy is the ultimate example of excellence. I was a little worried about getting my hair done at a salon after a bad experience at another one. I cannot believe the awful haircut I got, frankly I'm pissed at myself for even agreeing to pay. My beautiful boy had super long hair, I asked her to keep it long, I showed her pictures of what I wanted (with long side bang, layered) and... This is what I got. She kept shearing away even after I told her to stop saying she needed to even it out- this is even?! Then said 'oh I wouldn't have cut so short of I knew he had a cowlick' as if I hadn't asked her to keep it long and not cut so short and frankly, that a hairdresser couldn't see that in long hair. Then swore it look great in a few days... Yeah I think even she realized she messed up. Now I have to pay someone else to try and fix this! My poor baby will end up with no fair at this rate :( :( read more

Great place to have your hair done. The salon is warm and inviting not just for adults but children too. Tammy has 2 stations designated for kids, these stations remind me of the mechanical horse I would sometimes ride in front of the grocery store. But her stations are way more fun because they are shaped as cars provides sounds & is used as a salon chair to cut kids hair. read more

Owner Tammy is always so welcoming and feels like visiting family every time... as I brought my eldest son for much needed haircut in her new sports car seats the kids love and turns on with lights and buttons. Her helper, my son calls her auntie P, cut kiddos hair so nice with side 1 and fade spike to the top. $20 kids cut $ tip on top however you like. Came for a haircut last week from the owner. I walked in and she was coloring another clients hair. I told her I would come back in half an hour but insisted that I wait since she won't take long. When she was done dying the other clients hair, she asked me for a photo of the cut I wanted. She told me it was an easy, simple cut. When she began cutting my hair, she pulled my hair together to make a front ponytail and used a buzzer to cut it off to make layers.. that gave me the worst anxieties. Then insisted in curling my hair without showing me the end results when I said no to curling! I came home and straightened my hair after.. and I will never come back. My hair is extremely choppy and messy! I had to look for another place to fix my hair. read more

This was my first time coming here as recommended by a friend and so I had Tammy cut and color my hair. I was shocked that she used the electric razor to chop a bunch of my straight hair and hardly use scissors. Then I let her dye it because I had gray on my roots already. She had let the dye solution sat on my hair for only 30 mins. Although I know that it should at least take longer than that to effectively color my thick hair. But I put my trust and hope that it will be ok. I left the salon but on the THIRD day and after one hair wash, my gray looked very visible and looked like need another treatment (see picture attached). For the amount she charged me, I would have not thought that the color won't last not even for a week. I am very disappointed! And will not go back or recommend this place. read more

Tammy is the best hairstylist I've ever had! She used to work at Big Ben in San Jose but moved here and I just had to follow. She takes care of your hair so carefully and does it exactly to your liking. She transformed my thick, outgrown mess into a beautiful style in less then half an hour! Literally went in and came out with a new and beautiful look. Next time I come back I'm going to tone and dye my hair! Her dye is also ammonia free and she taught me a lot of aftercare tips and even how to trim my own bangs! She has fair prices and make sure everyone leaves beautiful and smiling come see Tammy!!!!! read more

Tammy is very friendly and quick. She's great with my young children and they were happily entertained by her friendly little dog, Lenny, as they waited for their turn for a very reasonably priced ($15) hair cut. I've returned many times for their cuts. I returned a day later for highlights for me. Again, Tammy have me a great price ($75) for simple highlights on the top and sides. She was a pleasure. In one treatment for the reasonable price of two hundred dollars, they did foil on whole shoulder-length head of hair and corrected problem. It took less than three hours! I absolutely loved my service today! I came in with dry/dead hair hoping to get some life back to it. I got a keratin treatment done and now my hair is super soft and healthy! I had the best experience this week! I walked in with no appointment and noticed that the perfect hair salon had only one customer. I decided to get the works! Highlights, color, eyebrow, and cut! This is for my people who know they deserve so much more-- like massages from Cindy. I was referred to her by a friend who lives in Gilroy. I live in San Jose (part of the reason why I don't make it down here as Morgan Hill is a bit of a drive). But this 2nd massage completely convinced me I am missing out on life if I'm not here on a more regular basis (even every 3 months rather than twice a year, lol). So I get the 80 min deep tissue Swedish massage with Cindy. Seeing her this 2nd time, she pulled out her notes and recalled my neck and back pain from a car accident, checked in with how I'm feeling, talked with me through her approach for the day where she would focus on some areas fora good time while making sure to provide full body care. She asked if there was anything else she could do to help me feel at ease and I replied, "your magic is already magic." Her massage table was gently heated beneath the sheets. She offered to increase the heat if I liked, which I agreed to. Helped so much with relaxing my muscles. Her technique is superb. She remembered that while I came in for "deep tissue" massage, I prefer light to medium pressure. Her hands can read where the aches and knots are, and I even become aware of them only at the moment she touches them! Warm. Velvet. Gentle. Firm. Forgiving. Home. That's what her massages feel like. I definitely deserve this. The vibe: thoughtfully themed with butterflies, which personally feels like I'm surrounded by my ancestors. The "tree of life" framed on the wall helps root me.
