She takes her time with her craft, but she's been very punctual especially compared to most stylists I've been to. I recommended her to my cousin who now has a new fave stylist as well. I walk in to this place and immediately feel comfortable. To begin, There was some modern music playing that made me smile. The entire ambiance of the place was super chill. I personally haven't dyed my hair in 7 years and decided to let a friend bleach it. He did a great job but now I was worried about the look while it grew back out so I decided to get it professionally done. I have no salon knowledge and so I truly was a lost puppy going into this but I was lucky to be placed with this amazing girl named Brylee. She talked with me for a few minutes and walked through a few options. She was so knowledgeable and even if she didn't know the answer, she figured it out as fast as she could. I ended up getting a root shadow and it was extremely reasonable pricing. I really feel like the experience here is why I will make this my regular salon. I had hopes for this salon even after reading the Yelp reviews I decided to still book an appointment with Doreen. My appointment was at 9am once I sat on the chair and informed her what I wanted and showed references she stated it would be "simple" due to my hair already being really blonde & only having 1/2inch of dark virgin root. She was to just blend my roots a little so I didn't have a harsh line. She applied BLACK hair dye to my roots about 2inches!! I asked for a grey tone toner because mind you my hair was already grey well she turned it orange. I had 2 inches of black hair with a straight line onto orange hair. After I told her I did not like it she said she would fix it. The second round she applied more black hair dye which resulted in 3 inches of black roots not blended all just onto a a straight line when I walked in with silver long hair with 1/2inch of root. When I told her I was upset & wanted it fixed she was trying to add another inch of black hair dye. I got upset & told her no that they needed to fix it. After receiving attitude & back talk from Doreen she brought up the manager which said they would fix it. My hair was dyed black twice, had a yellow toner added, hair color removal for the black, bleached, more dark tone dye, washed 6 times all from 9am to 9pm!!! One of the times Doreen was drying my hair once she was done she stated my hair still had product so it needed to be washed again! It took another stylist to jump in to try to fix what she did. At the end of the day I left the hair salon worst than what I walked in with I had the worst experience of my life & they still charged my card $185.00 dollars!! read more

At the last minute I decided I wanted to get my hair cut. I was actually trying to get in at a salon across the street, but did not want to wait. I called le hair and they had an opening right then and there. Usually I do my research and take days to decide who I'm going to book an appointment with, but was having no luck for months. So I just went and got in Erin's chair hoping for the best. She was amazing. I told her that the last haircut (from a different salon) was horrible and discussed what it was suppose to look like, but didn't. She understood exactly what I wanted and consulted and suggested as she was cutting. She defiantly fixed what the other stylist messed up and it was exactly what I wanted. Worse place EVER! My first visit I had a Balayage done. 1. The hairdresser was a half hour late, fried my hair, Was doing my hair and did a walk in 'in her words' I won't refuse money. Cut my hair if you want to call it that BUT I said let me try someone new .... Color my white hair or so I thought. I never have experience where my white hair was particularly colored. I couldn't believe it and I am so busy I didn't have time to have it corrected. I thought with so many hairstyles let me try one more time To my surprise I found someone wonderful who did a touch up but I showed her how I wanted my hair cut. To my surprise she said they normally don't cut short hair (bob style ) and the salon owner wasn't there to show her how to really cut my hair like I wanted (lack of education) So after three tries I'm out... time to find someone new. read more

She ended up suggesting face framing and I said yes because she had made me feel weird about getting bangs. Then while she was working on my hair she was offering another customer to style her hair. She was going to have me wait during my scheduled appointment to style someone else's hair. Luckily the customer refused because she saw that she was working on me already. I had no warning from her prior.Doreen or Dorine completely FRIED my hair. I had bleach in my hair for about 3 hours. She kept slathering on bleach and leaving it in for long periods of time. I showed her caramel/honey hair and she left me with the ugliest blonde I have ever seen in my life. My hair is completely destroyed. DESTROYED. Don't bother with this place. Nobody cares about your hair, If I was a professional and saw someone FRYING someone's hair I would walk over and say something. Instead other stylists walked by and looked over at each other. Literally the worst decision I've made this week! I showed pictures and specifically asked for COLOR. Not toner! I had white hairs that I needed covered. The sole reason for my visit. She used toner. Turned my hair orange. And tried to tell me my white hairs weren't there. Lady I'm not blind! Let me not forget that after she teased my hair to bleach it. After she washed it. She went in to yank my hair out. She was brushing teased freshly bleached and wet hair with literally nothing. She put absolutely no product in my hair. It's called detangler and it's $5. I went here for the first time this week. Anna did my hair and it turned out amazing. She was fun and interactive while she styled and cut. She really knows what it means to be a stylist. I hate when you go places and you have that awkward silence, broken with "look down" or "hold still". This didn't happen here, we laughed we talked she cut. I already scheduled my next appointment with her for color. The salon it self its all decked out in Marilyn Monroe pictures and has that 1950's glam feel. I walked in without an appointment and did not have to wait long. As I waited you could tell everyone that worked there was happy and they were like family, I liked that about everyone. I was greeted by Erin, who used my name and introduced herself. There wasn't a lot of chit chat between us but it wasn't an uncomfortable silence. Sneaky! I went there to get a price on highlights & the girl gave me the price of $100 so I made an appointment. One of their stylists there, kept staring at me. I mean really staring. Maybe they have never seen a person over 40 in their store (a step below a salon). Went to the appointment and Liz knew I was there for highlights. I picked the color and she also wanted a base color .. I think that's what she called it. So we picked a base. All the while I'm there, I'm thinking 'have I had a base color before'? She did a great job, then I cashed out and they said $140. When I questioned the girl (she set my appointment) she said 'because you got the base color'. Paid the $140 and didn't leave a tip.
