They have a steak that has a strip of fat on it I like to pair it with papas criollas which are little baked yellow potatoes. My man is not a fan of the steak however and I'm not a fan of the potato salad. The steak comes out on a skillet so if you like your meat medium, ask for it med rare because it will continue to cook on the hot skillet. They always have daily specials which are decent for about $8 you get a soup, meat, a salad (potato, green, or beet) and a side (rice, plantains, tostones, etc.) beans are not included however which I think should be. If you dine in go to the bar side it's a lot nicer and a better atmosphere.

Second time around, the lady asked if we could wait en ocho minutos for fresh ones. Of course! These fried empanadas boast a crispy masarepa with a nice bite, while the beef and potato filling was delicious and generous enough. Drop some salsa verde to get a boost of flavor, but I also like it spicy, so I added the red sauce at the same time. These sauces may be the reason I went back. While waiting, I was eyeing their doughnut called Churros Agruipe. Now I am regretting not trying it; it's killing me. So I must go back again.

Nice and flavorful. I added the red sauce which gave them a nice kick. We shared guacamole and chips which I also enjoyed. I would definitely order for here again and try something else on the menu.

There was one man waiting for his order. 1st red flag. The place was dark and dingy looking, 2nd red flag. We ordered real basic 1/2 rotisserie chicken with rice and peas, my husband ordered 1/2 chicken with yellow rice and red beans. The chicken was so hard and dry that I almost choked swallowing it! It had no taste and neither did the beans and rice. They were dry as well, rice was overly sticky, nothing 'traditional' about the food. I may not be latino but I have eaten enough Latin dishes to know what's traditional and what's not, and this place IS NOT. Don't bother going here if you want, at the least, good tasting, authentic Dominican food that is prepared well!

Please don't not go because of that. My wife's coworker brought in Empanadas from here recently, and since then my wife wanted to go. She ordered a buffet of almost all the Empanadas that they offer. I got 2 cheese for myself. I thought that they were pretty good for being corn. My wife and Father-in-law both loved the ones that they tried. They enjoyed the pabellon, they chicken and cheese and so many others. The only issue is that most employees here do not speak English, and the language barrier is pretty evident... So if you do not speak Spanish, I wish you luck! The restaurant has high plastic barriers all over from what I can see. There is an entrance for the restaurant, and a separate one for to-go! Sadly this really is not my heritage, or any family members heritage, so I can't say if these are the best.... All in all, my wife liked them! Aside from the language barrier, I don't really have any issues.
