I went in for a hair cut and because it's a salon, I never tell them Im allergic to cheap shampoos with sulfate. Well this lady squirts the cheapest, cherry FLAVOR shampoo. When I noticed the smell I asked about it. She said it doesnt. But asked to see the ingredients. And Theres was. Right up there at the top! I asked that she rinse it out FAST. She told me three times that I should have told her and it's not her fault?! While rinsing the sulfate was going down my back because she hadn't put a towel to protect my neck. Never had that be a thing. Anyway. I don't pay. Because hell. It took 5 minutes and I was scared to break out in hives. And who in their right mind would charge me for that? Well the owner calls me a liar and say I just wanted a free hair washing!!!!!! I was taken aback. I said do I look HOMELESS to you???Then they came and almost assaulted me because I took a picture of their sign. They were yelling at me through the window of my car. And pretended to call the police. I asked if she was the owner. She said no. She's a customer. Blatant lie!!! Im a small business owner too. I hate to be leaving this review. But that was way too much. They were threatening me and calling me a thief and a liar after they basically poisoned me.

But I decided to call and schedule an appointment because they don't seem to honor business hours. Fast forward, I arrived at 2:30 for a 2:45 appointment to a locked salon. The lady mentioned she had another appointment prior which I assumed meant at her shop, but I sent a text and waited. 2:45 I proceeded to call and was sent to voicemail with no mailbox set up. 3:00 I gave up and found CJ's Nail salon on Yelp, which I highly recommend Linda and the deluxe pedicure, 3:09 my wonderful experience began, at another salon (see that review). I hate wasting time and having mine wasted. Do not waste yours by coming to the Pink Palace.

It's very elegant and calming inside with the koi pond and let's not get started on the upstairs lol. It looks like a palace walking in with the stairs that come down on both sides. Oh! Also left out that for the moms out there, they have a kids area and kids seats that girls would love. This is an all around great place for anyone to come and enjoy.

It seemed the nail tech used nails a bit too small for my nail bed so they look super flat which resulted in a big gap underneath which she had to put UV gel underneath which makes my nails feel weird. I'm upset bc I paid $75 for the set. I'm a gel x nail lover so I know clean work. I am picky when it comes to my nails as I should be since I'm paying for a service. FYI this set is 2 days old. I'm going to end up getting them removed and getting a new set from my long distance nail tech. Please see pictures. Pictures do not justice. Update: Paola the owner offered to redo but no there's no excuses why they weren't done right the first time seeing as she was the one who did them. Plus the salon is almost an hour from me.

I was weary of the fact that it's next to a gas station and has bars on the windows, but in the end, my nails do look really good. I agree with the other post that this isn't the place to go if you want to relax. They don't have the spa pedicure, only the massaging foot baths you can buy anywhere, and it got old trying to keep my knees bent and still the entire time. If I relaxed them at all, I probably would have pushed the girl working on my toenails across the salon! The chairs are old office chairs on rollers (well, some of them). I give them credit though for being cheap, clean, quick, and doing a good job, however...I don't like that they only accept cash and there's duct tape on the tables. With how often I get my nails done (maybe once or twice a year), I would rather make the drive to my favorite salon in Willis. Call me crazy, but hey, I love it.

My issue was I had an overlay on my real nails and on my other hand I have 2 nails that had broken. I told her I wanted my natural nails trimmed down and the other hand to put tips on the short ones. A different lady came over there and cut down all of my nails super short! I'm not a fan of short nails, I like long nails, and I have been growing out my nails for over a year. I couldn't get the shape of design I wanted bc of how short she cut them and I'm not a fan of tips. She put tips on the super short ones to make them all the same length which was fine. As she's drilling she's burning me! At the end of the day the nails look fine they just aren't what I wanted. Today is my birthday and these are my birthday nails.
