Excellent cleaning service…read more I've been bringing my shirts to Huguenot Cleaners for laundering for over three years. The shirts always come back perfectly clean, well-pressed, and ready to wear. Orders are always ready on time. Thank you, Huguenot Cleaners, for the excellent cleaning job! As for alterations, I used them once to adjust the length of a pair of pants and had a mixed experience. Initially they came back too long, and on the second attempt - ended up too short. I certainly recommend Huguenot Cleaners for their cleaning service, though I'm less confident recommending them for alterations.

I went in today, September 24th, only to find out that my pants had not even been touched. I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow, so I specifically relied on the date I was given. I was then told to come back later. A few minutes after leaving, I received a call saying they couldn't do the alterations because they didn't have the measurements. If you didn't have the measurements or couldn't complete the job, I should have been told when I dropped them off--not on the day they were promised. Very frustrating and extremely inconvenient, especially when I planned around the promised pickup date. Better communication and follow-through are definitely needed.

The reviews…read moreseemed decent, so I felt comfortable bringing in three items for dry cleaning, including a $400 coat that needed a small repair. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The seamstress was not there when I dropped of the coat, they said that she will look and see if she can fix it and let me know by phone. I then find out that she "fixed" my coat without consulting me first, claiming the repair was necessary for the dry cleaning process. In doing so, she actually made the tear worse and ended up ruining the coat. When I tried to address the issue with the staff, the situation only got worse. The employees became defensive, rude, and belligerent. The interaction escalated to the point where I felt uncomfortable and unsafe in the store, as two male associates were behaving aggressively. I haven't even evaluated the quality of the dry cleaning yet, but at this point it's hard to say the service was worth the cost of a ruined $400 coat and the unpleasant treatment I received. It's especially disappointing because I had hoped I'd found a reliable dry cleaning and tailoring service close to home.
