Bought a new battery and was told my dead battery (from another chain auto parts store) was from 2002 due to a sticker on the battery indicating that. That's weird I thought since my car is a 2009 and couldn't have had a new battery from 2002. I went with his explanation on that battery for the moment. I bought a brand new battery that I was told was the right one for my car and I even purchased the 5 year warranty for the battery. My car had not sounded the same when cranking since, like it was struggling. Fast forward to just over 2 months. My car doesn't seem like it wants to start every time. This only worsened as the nights and mornings became colder. 2 times in one morning my car almost did not start, but after several tries finally got it going both times. Rather than push my luck, I had my mechanic look at it for alternator, battery, and starter problems. Mechanic told me that the battery was not powerful enough for my car and that I needed to go back to AutoZone and get it replaced with the correct battery. The battery I was sold did not have enough cranking amps for my car. After a trip back to AutoZone to get this problem corrected, I was given the exact same battery as the incorrect one bought before. I even said, "I do want the same battery because I will be back here in 2 more months with it getting even colder. I'm not saying that there is a defect in the battery you sold me, but I need a battery with higher cranking amps." He replied, "This is the only battery that will fit your car." I trusted him yet again and he replaced the battery. When I went to crank it with him standing there, the same problem occurred. My car did not want to start but on the second try, it did thankfully. I was told, "It's your starter. It's lagging." When I got back to a computer, I went to AutoZone's website and looked up batteries for my car, the battery I had showed. But so did a higher cranking amp battery. Now, I'm livid because I was told that the one I had was the only one that would fit my car. Back to the mechanic I go. I had printouts of the 2 batteries from my search on AutoZone's website showing that there was indeed a battery with higher cranking amps that I needed for my car and was available from AutoZone. I had the mechanic replace with the correct battery for a lower price and now my car cranks fine. But what about the initial dead battery that caused me to go to AutoZone in the first place to get a new one? Glad I saved it. Not only did it have higher cranking amps than the one I was sold, it also had a wider footprint. "This is the only battery that will fit your car," I was told about the battery I was buying. How then did you first remove a larger, wider battery with higher cranking amps from my car and replace with a thinner lower cranking amp battery? Either this was done maliciously or out of ignorance.Either way, I feel swindled and taken advantage of. Also, was the initial dead battery really one from 2002? I don't know for sure, but I am almost certain it was not. After returning the battery for a full refund and questioning why I was told that was the only battery that would fit my car, I was told that's what the system said. Again, this is strange since their own website says that they have another battery with higher cranking amps. I was also told there was still something wrong with my starter. My mechanic checked my starter earlier and found no issues. I did however get my refund. I will probably never to go any AutoZone ever again, and will most certainly never go this particular location. I will warn anyone who is going there for any part to beware and go elsewhere even at a higher cost. I have had a recommendation for Advance Auto Parts on Lee Avenue and will take my business there when I need something. This was as poor customer service as I have ever experienced.

I had them put them on, Ernest the man who did it was great!! He did a great job and I really did enjoy his service because he was professional and personable. Anyway a couple weeks later one of the brackets broke and they have a 90 day warranty. When I originally purchased them they said they needed a different size and switched it out. Because they switched out the size they refused to honor the warranty and I had to pay another almost 20 dollars to have it replaced again.... this should not be my fault. I produced receipts for all the items purchased but did not have an item change receipt for when they first had to switch out the blade but I did have a virtual receipt notice on my credit card which I produced which matched the exact amount of the item. DO NOT CLAIM TO HAVE A 90 DAY WARRANTY when you aren't going to warrant it. If I wanted to pay over 100 dollars in total to have these items replaced, I would have gone to my dealership directly and had free coffee whilst waiting.
