Don't let the full parking lot deter you from coming here for the best boiled crawfish in town!…read moreWe've been here several times and almost didn't get down every time because of ALL THE PEOPLE but we never had to wait for a table. A few things to be aware of when you go-they ask if you want them regular or spicy and when you ask for them spicy they do that thing where they season the outside of the bugs. That used to annoy me until I found out why. When you're boiling that much crawfish everyday they stick with the tried and true recipe that won't scare the tourists lol and when you want it spicier they sprinkle it on the outside. I've had them both ways and they're both phenomenal, but definitely prefer them spicy. Also, they don't include dip with your order. You can buy it from them which is $3 a cup but don't do that! There's a little bar with everything you need to mix your own for free. If you know how to make it and exactly how you like the ratio of mayo to ketchup (don't sleep on the Worcestershire and horseradish either) that option is a no brainer! Their boiled shrimp is great as well and they butterfly them too. Yum!!

Yesterday, my husband and I stopped by Lee's Seafood, housed in an old building that only offered…read moredrive-through service. We ordered a variety of dishes, but were disappointed with what we received. The fish was overcooked to the point of being inedible, and we found a hair in the fry rice. When we brought these issues to the staff's attention, they were unhelpful until we mentioned involving health authorities, at which point the owner reluctantly refunded our purchase. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that highlighted the importance of paying attention to the condition of a restaurant and its food quality. In this image, if you zoom in, you'll notice a strand of hair that definitely shouldn't be there. Upon closer inspection, it becomes evident that there are actually multiple strands of hair, not just one. Unfortunately, we found similar strands in the rest of our food as well. It's truly disgusting and unacceptable. I really didn't want to give them any stars but you can't leave a review without a star.

The flavor was great! More than just the powdered seasoning, you could tell the boil was seasoned properly. It was late March when we came through and we had a few too many small crawfish but not worth complaining about. Also, they had no boudin which was disappointing but again, we came for the crawfish! Small space, friendly staff who insisted they would clean the table after we left.

So after doing my own research on this particular place I figured why not stop by and pick something up to eat. Well I can definitely say I'm not disappointed. Small clean spot apparently it's been around for a number of years. I ended up getting a small shrimp platter with the fried rice and some tartar sauce on the side. The fried rice was pretty good wasn't salty like I tend to find at some places nor was it greasy. The shrimp were tender and had a good flavor. Although the food tasted pretty good the tartar sauce was the best. Yes I did say the tartar sauce. It was absolutely delicious. I did not ask but I would say it was homemade. Creamy, rich, tangy and herby. Also I appreciate and liked how respectful the lady working on my visit was to all of the customers. This is something you don't see everyday. I've only seen this type of awesome customer interaction once this year. It was at a restaurant I ate at while working in Monroe Louisiana. Even if the food wasn't good I would return to this place just because of the great customer service.
