This was my first impression of Louisiana as a whole and I am so glad we stopped here. We called close to closing and lady that answered was so wholesome and accommodating. The egg drop soup is not your typical Chinese egg drop soup, but it was filled with egg, so well seasoned, and had great flavor. We ordered some boiled crawfish to go and were kinda thrown off that it came in a paper bag, but the second we tried it back at the hotel, none of that mattered. That stuff was insanely good.

What a find, small dining area, however the repeat customers were obvious. The menu was a little tricky as you do not see the Pho on the menu, but it's there and delicious, and the catfish poboy had good flavor, the fried rice had its own special taste which went over very well, along with the egg rolls, they were out of crab but the Shrimp boil was over the top with flavor. Do ask for the chili oil for the Pho. Side note, looked like everyone was eating the fresh onion rings which will be trying on our next visit. The customer service is great, and the owner makes you feel welcomed, like joining a family.

But after working here for a week I am thoroughly impressed by the food and the restaurant owners and workers. I want to thank the young lady working the register at Moore's today she was exceptional. I ordered the crawfish etouffee which came with fried fish, white rice, green beans and potato salad. I really have no complaints about this meal it was really good and the amount of food received is what one would expect. This is definitely a hole in the wall. But a hole in the wall with a bunch of really nice people coming in and out ordering food to go. I had great conversation with other customers who were also waiting for their food. We ordered a variety of dishes, but were disappointed with what we received. The fish was overcooked to the point of being inedible, and we found a hair in the fry rice. When we brought these issues to the staff's attention, they were unhelpful until we mentioned involving health authorities, at which point the owner reluctantly refunded our purchase. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that highlighted the importance of paying attention to the condition of a restaurant and its food quality. In this image, if you zoom in, you'll notice a strand of hair that definitely shouldn't be there. Upon closer inspection, it becomes evident that there are actually multiple strands of hair, not just one. Unfortunately, we found similar strands in the rest of our food as well. It's truly disgusting and unacceptable. I really didn't want to give them any stars but you can't leave a review without a star.
