Yesterday, my husband and I stopped by Lee's Seafood, housed in an old building that only offered…read moredrive-through service. We ordered a variety of dishes, but were disappointed with what we received. The fish was overcooked to the point of being inedible, and we found a hair in the fry rice. When we brought these issues to the staff's attention, they were unhelpful until we mentioned involving health authorities, at which point the owner reluctantly refunded our purchase. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that highlighted the importance of paying attention to the condition of a restaurant and its food quality. In this image, if you zoom in, you'll notice a strand of hair that definitely shouldn't be there. Upon closer inspection, it becomes evident that there are actually multiple strands of hair, not just one. Unfortunately, we found similar strands in the rest of our food as well. It's truly disgusting and unacceptable. I really didn't want to give them any stars but you can't leave a review without a star.

He acted like he didn't know me and when I told him about himself he blamed it on his sickness. I visit there about a month ago it was totally different. He was talking and joking. I understand people have bad days but don't take it out on the customers that keeps your business going. My point is, if you're sick stay home that doesn't look good on your business when you have a nasty attitude!

The seafood gumbo is very good. The fried fish, shrimp, chicken is all great and the seafood balls are wonderful too. But eat what you take because they reserve the right to charge for wasted food. Love this place. I go often.

The boiled seafood was well seasoned and delicious. It was late in the season, so the crawfish was a little hard as was expected. The bread pudding was another can't miss. I would like to sit out there again in the evening in the cooler months. I got the choose 2 half shrimp poboy and seafood gumbo and they were both fantastic. The sauce they put on the poboy is what makes it. I get extra sauce. I've been here once before and got the same thing with the chicken & sausage gumbo and it is also good but the seafood is a little better. The potato salad is the best I've ever had, perfect for taking it for a swim in your gumbo (don't mix it). Mother in law said the burger was great. Kid enjoyed the chicken & waffles. I hope this place stays here for a long time. Go give them the business.

First of all, there are a whole bunch of free parking and it was easy to find this restaurant. The atmosphere was low keyed and subtle, not loud and rambunctious. We were seated immediately, even if we were early for our reservation and our very friendly and helpful server, Jaslyn, was awesome! She suggested to start off with a delicious strawberry margarita and it was a home run! Perfectly blended garnished with both a lemon and a lime slice. We ordered the Prejean's seafood platter, which hit all the marks. Catfish filet, oysters, crawfish, alligator, shrimp, hush puppies and fries. Everything was lightly battered and not the least oily. We also had to try the chicken, andouille sausage gumbo and the crab cake vermilion which were so delicious! But, the highlight was our extraordinary server, Jaslyn! The was the epitome of southern hospitality with her sweet, unassuming personality! The next time I'm in Louisiana, I'll be back at Prejean"s!
