Every single time I walked in, they never had apts so I finally booked two days in advance. I was early, my fault but I ended waiting and waiting and waiting - mind you a full set takes more than an hour and I needed to remove my shellac. I ended up leaving after 15 minutes of my apt. What was the point of booking my apt days in advance? This place wasn't even busy... The last time I came here, I was looking forward to Jing doing my nails but apple ended up doing it. She burnt me too many times and made me bleed. The other tech, I forgot her name did my shellac while watching NETFLIX on her phone and doing my nails. If you're not going to interact with me then give me the bare minimum of service - is that so hard? Complete my full set before watching two episodes of kdrama.... She was pausing with the nail brush in mid air and watching her kdrama on the phone on the empty table beside me. Learned my lesson time after time, better just go to yen nail in aurora.

Steven was gentle and weilded his tools well but did not do a good job applying my color. I didn't really care, but my daughter's hands were torn up. She did not pressure me to try the shellac finish or push products at cash out. The other prego lady was pretty catty. She tsk tsk and snickered at me for skipping the shellac option($10+) and going for regular polish...even though I wasn't even Her client! This place is quite new, around for about 2 months. First impression is that it is bright and clean. I noticed that there were sterilization machines for the tools, and all files were individually wrapped and disposable. Very nice. They had a large selection of shellac colours, which included OPI (my favourite) and colour changing ones ($5 extra). They took their time to take of my existing shellac and manicure. The led lights used were the original OPI lamps, which cures it properly. One qualm I have is that the layers were a bit thicker than I would have liked, but not a big deal. Most likely would come back again, to try the pedicure. They use liners for the basin which is something you don't get everywhere

Hoping that the lashes will live up to my expectations and not all fall off within the first few days!! Edited to add that after less than a week most of the lashes fell off my left eye compared to my right and I look pretty silly. Very disappointed because they looked so good when they were first done. Now I need to remove them at home before a work meeting because they look so uneven!
