It is always very clean when I go there. The staff is unbelievable. Lorelei is very kind and understanding and goes out of her way to make her clients feel welcome. My daughter has used the spray tan services and every time we've done it has been successful ... even and streak free with no orange tint. DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION. GO TO WESTERN SPRINGS OR LISLE The same person will check you in for multiple services ex red light and tan using a bed. Your 1st service will end and you go on to another service, only to have another person in your room...like someone literally walks in as im going into my next service only to have them give it to the person that just walked in so now your waiting. They completely scammed me at this location. They hard sold me on the emerald lazer. Told me i needed extra sessions so i did 12. I payed $3,000 with no results. I asked for a refund and was given nothing but sass from Lorelei. Im shocked because i have gone here for over 10 years and this is the treatment I was given after paying for something they hard sold me into and were very uneducated on. Disgusting. The plus side is it's very clean in here. The downside is you will feel like you're at a car dealership. They will try to upsell absolutely every little thing that they can and they're pretty pushy about it so I have found somewhere else where I can go without all the sales pitches and just relax like I want to. read more

This LA Tan is amazing!! The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and really take the time to treat every guest with kindness. I travel 25 minutes just to come to this salon. The hybrid beds are amazing, with red light therapy & the tanning bulbs. They also offer custom airbrush tanning (who knew?!) this place does it all! It is very clean and it seems they have been updating the salon with new beds (which I LOVE). Good location with lots of parking. Clean and staff is pleasant I think the prices are good. I paid 39.00 for 5 tans, level 1-2 beds up to 10 minutes each time. I'm in and out fast which is a biggie for me. They have lots of lotions if you don't have your own. They gave me a free sample of one the first time I went in. It does not smell in there which I'm sure has to do with how well they keep it clean. Even though I'm doing it to just get a base tan going before vacation, I may be a regular there. Hard to find a good tanning place with good parking, staffed well, lots of beds, clean and good hours. This one has it all. read more

I've gotten rude girls before, dirty beds, etc etc. I recently just moved to the suburbs...(got married! Haha) and had to find a new L.A. Tan to go to. I went to this one for my first time and was blown away! Was welcomed to the neighborhood, given advice on where to go for nails, hang out spots on so on! The girls were so so friendly! Also very knowledgeable! I have been pressured in the city to buy products every time I walked into the door! I recently just discovered my skin has become sensitive the past couple of years! These girls were so caring and considerate discovering that it was certain kinds of lotions I was buying. I took a "winter break" from tanning and recently started going again! The moment I walked in one of the girls said "oh my gosh!! I've been waiting for you to come back in!!!!! We have a new hypoallergenic lotion!!!! I thought of you right away!!!!!" She informed me of all of the things it had in it... (all natural things) and told me it was on sale too, which the price was too good not to buy! THAT IS WHAT I CALL AMAZING SERVICE!!! The woman who helped me went step by step how the stand and tips to make sure I didn't get any white spots which I really appreciated. Eight hours later I have a nice healthy looking color. I recently moved to the area, and came to this LA Tan for the first time last week. The first day I came in, the two girls working at the front desk were extremely rude. No "hello" or "goodbye" as I came and went, which was extremely off-putting. Luckily I gave this place a second chance, because the next time I went in the two girls working were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall this is a great location that seems to be spotless each time I come in, I just hope I encounter only the friendly front desk girls from now on. read more

The rooms are always really clean and the stand-up beds are great, but what really makes this location stand out is the staff. I hadn't been tanning in probably 15 years, but I talked to Chelsea on the phone and she was so helpful and encouraging. When I went in for my first time, she was there and immediately set me at ease. Knowledgeable about the products (lotions, eyewear) and helped figure out what the best type of tanning would be for me based on my goals. She never made me feel stupid (despite all my questions) and now when I come in, she greets me by name with a smile on her face. I hope they know how lucky they are to have her. The girls are always super nice here. I haven't had a front desk girl who wasn't accommodating and helpful. I'm on the unlimited level 1 package and the girl was really great with helping me pick out what lotion I should get (14K Gold is awesome). Exceptional staff and sparkling clean salon! This salon is further for me since moving, but it's worth the drive. They have a wide variety of beds, the salon is so clean and the staff is always friendly. The manger is extremely knowledgeable about the different beds and lotions and takes the time to explain and make recommendations. This is a great place to come if you want to get a little glow, a deep dark (I've been on vacation) tan or if you just want some Vitamin D light therapy for mental health! The Wheaton L.A. I went to the Wheaton L.A. TAN for my first tanning experience ever. My Aunt had recommended it to me, and let me say it was the best recommendation. My wedding day was coming up and I felt like I needed a little extra glow for my special day. To be honest, I completely loved the result and overall service. I decided to go with the Airbrush Tanning, which was done by Lorelei. She made me feel very comfortable and was very informative with how the process worked. After I did just one complete spray, I decided to check out. I then realized that perhaps I could do a second spray, so I came back directly after my check out and Lorelei was more than happy to complete a second spray for me with no complaints and no additional cost. For my wedding day, I literally was glowing in such a perfect way, and I definitely would recommend anyone who hasnt done a tan before, to check this place out! This is the best la tan I've ever been to(and because I've moved 4 times in the past 3 years I've been to a lot). It's very clean walking in. You can tell by looking at the inside they take care of the place. I went there after I moved taking a couple months off and thought I had cancelled my old membership at a different location. The clerk said that I had a huge balance and I told her exactly how I cancelled and that I was planning on purchasing another membership. After some back and forth explaining she understood I wasn't lying about cancelling and waved my balance and let me tan for the 5$ Tuesday. Coming back I purchased the diamond membership and upon walking in another time was recommended the level 3 bed because it's brand new and I normally tan on that one. The clerk walked me in there and explained how it worked and I was impressed by the service she gave me. Customer appreciation day is tomorrow and she gave me a intensifier lotion in a sample cup to promote one of their lotions and now even though I currently don't need more I want to buy it!! It smelled good(didn't have that burn smell) and I got good color. Their new level three bed has a contoured area to lay on so it shapes to your body (the other one was flat) it has air conditioners(not just fans) and the facial lamp was on top and bottom. I normally have an la tan that's more conveniently located on my way home but now I will primarily be using this location due to its great customer service. read more

Don't go to WHEATON'S LA TAN!!!! and DON'T BELIEVE THE OWNER!!! I belong to Naperville's loc & had bought a package of Mystic Tans. I rarely have gone to the Wheaton loc & now I see why. I'll never go there again & never recommend it! Went in & asked the assocte for a level 3 mystic spray tan. She asked: 'Clear or Bronze' ? (Because i wanted to double check on that location's definition, I ASKED HER "WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?") The associate said the clear changes your color very gradual over time. The Bronze is immediate color but don't bathe over night. I said "That's what I want! The bronze." I come out with no bronze immediate color. The spray was even clear. She got the owner on the phone & was told by her that the bronze is gradual. Asked for the credit back on my account. The owner agreed & said to go to napervill loc. I went to naperville loc & NO CREDIT GIVEN!!!!!!!! SO MUCH FOR KEEPING THEIR WORD & PROVIDING WHAT YOUR ASSOCIATE SAID I WOULD GET! ZERO CREDIBILITY!!! read more
