I've been to 4 LA Tan locations and this is my favorite one. They don't have level 1 stand up beds, but they have level 1 laydown beds. They also allow to you do the level 2 stand up for 10 minutes. The other location only allows 7 minutes max. I also love the fact that there is music and it is loud unlike some locations that don't have any music at all. I am taking off a star for the "broken" faucet in the sink and the fact that there is no stool in the tanning room. Otherwise this location is one of the better LA Tans. read more

Clean, easy to find, ready to receive clients. Nice beds, well maintained, details were thought of; they have mats next to the beds. Towels are available upon request. Price point is acceptable. Definitely ask about Specials. The young lady working was polite, knew the products and spoke clearly for me to understand. They have a Top of the Line new Bed, that is not available in other locations, I'll Try that next time. Definitely recommend them read more

Initially I liked coming here but after an issue that came up. Iv decided not to come back. When the issue came up, no one was willing to help me resolve it. read more

I pay for an unlimited membership. Every other week their level 4 bed is out and being serviced and there's a wait to get into a level 5 bed. The only other option is a stand up bed and that's not what I prefer. I will definitely be cancelling my membership here. read more

The young lady that helped me today 1/22 her name was shausha I'm sorry if I'm not spelling correctly but she deserves a raise. She was so sweet! Made me aware of all offers/promotions! Love her!!!! Thanks babe! you're amazing at what you do! read more

I enjoy the relaxation even if it short But it's the greeting and the help I get when I enter the door They are always ready to answer even sometimes my repeated questions. I also am very pleased at how organized and clean it is. The girls always have a smile and are so very mannerly. read more

Wow! Outstanding!! New ownership since I have been there 10 years ago~ Omg let me tell you changed for the better ! Extremely clean ~ 1Service was very professional . The tanning I received lasted almost 3 weeks, outstanding look, and yes they even put forth the safety measures . I did call other LA Tans in the area who did not. I am going back again couldn't help it the prices are affordable . I highly recommend this place. read more

I went in for a tan today, and the girl working (Ashley - Downers Grove location) was extremely personable and kind. It was so refreshing just to see somebody who was nice and truly cared about the customers experience. Ashley went above and beyond to help with what I was looking for and even took the extra step to provide me information as I was leaving. read more

Another month and no reply from corporate after multiple more calls and emails. Another month money will be stolen. Be careful with monthly memberships read more

A friend recommended this location after my spray tan girl moved away and I could not be happier! The facility is always really clean and every staff member I have come across has been super friendly and knowledgeable. Carrie has helped with my spray tans each time and the color is always perfect! There have to be like 5 locations closer to my house but it's so worth it to drive a bit further knowing I'm going to be so happy with the results! I will definitely be visiting more as the summer months roll in so I don't blind anyone with my pale Irish skin haha. read more

L A Tan - Level 2 lay down bed - Spray Tanning Near Me - Lyons, Illinois

Stephanie at the front desk is absolutely amazing!! I had never had a spray tan so I had a lot of questions! She was so helpful and explained everything to me! I would and will definitely be coming back soon!!! Thank you so much!! read more

Stephanie at the front desk is always so helpful, kind, and incredibly welcoming! She always has a smile on her face and it is so appreciated. Not to mention how clean the location always is when I tan there. Thank you to the entire staff for being so great! read more

I've been to several LA Tan locations and this is my favorite by far, mostly because of the staff. I am relatively new to spray tans and all of the employees/managers, particularly Carrie and Stephanie were extremely helpful in explaining the process to me and easing any concerns I have. There is never a wait for the regular tanning beds and the salon is always clean. I am extremely indecisive when it comes to skin products and they employees are always there to give a recommendation or explain the differences between the products. I have recommended this location to several of my friends and will continue to! read more

The girl who works the front desk who usually wears a baseball cap with long hair needs to lighten up.

Level 3 standup!! Best tan ever. Friendly and knowledgeable girls, clean salon. Couldn't ask for much more than that. read more

I love this L.A. Tan. Great service here, the girls are all super friendly and helpful. The beds are awesome, always working great and super clean. I've been going to this L.A. Tan for years and look forward to going there when I can. Only downfall there is the parking situation otherwise it would get a five star from me read more

THE PLACE WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!!! First off, I signed up for the Gold Package which gives you half price per minute on all the beds. So instead of paying $1.60 a minute on a level 3 stand up I'm supposed to pay $0.80 per minute. However, when I wanted to do the level 3 stand up for 8 minutes I was charged $7.80. Last time I did the math for 8 min. x $0.80 I got $6.40. Are they charging 22% for tax? When I asked why it was that amount they said they "didn't know, that's just what it is". Second, signing up for the Gold Package requires you to pay for 3 months. I only needed it for a month and a half but I was okay with paying for the 3 months which I was charged monthly. I was recently charged for a 4th month even though I hadn't gone there in 2 months. I went in the next day after being charged to get a refund for the month I had been recently charged but the manager wasn't in. The lady at the front desk said that the manager would contact me that following Monday. Thursday rolls around and I still hadn't been contacted my the manager. I decide to go back to see if the manager was in or not. The manager wasn't in but he/she told the lady that was working the front desk that they are capable of giving me a refund but since "i signed a contract" they don't have to and wont. Just terrible management. I would recommend going to an entirely different tanning business. read more

I would like to say that I started getting a really great tan from here. their bulbs must be constantly changed. I do have 1 issue though- I was doing the level 2 lay down bed about 8 times then wanted to do the stand up one. I wish I would've been warned or as least told it was possible for me to burn. Then I wouldn't have done it. My whole body (except legs) got burned. The worst was my armpits- they were so sore. Very uncomfortable especially since I was building up my tan to go to Florida then show up there burnt and peeling. read more

The front desks girls are the worst. Nothing but attitudes and makes people feel uncomfortable going there. I'll stick to the willow springs location. read more

Really nice staff and good beds. I only took off a star because it's in a sketchy location but that's nobody's fault

Love this location and the girls that work here. It's clean and nice. Not much more I can ask for. Plus with all the deals it's hard to pass up! I'm actually on my way there now. read more

Wonderful place to tan! Always clean and the staff are super friendly. They have a large selection or lotions. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to tan. read more

the worst service. they close at 9pm. i came in tonight at 8:44 to get a spray tan. i called earlier and asked for a spray tan and they told me to come before 8:45, and i did. as i tried opening the door they were like oh sorry were closed as they continued to run to the back and hide behind a curtain as i waited outside in the cold. it's disgusting that they denied a customer and money. i could have gotten a spray tan in the amount of time i waited outside. if they wanted to leave so badly, they could have just let me do the spray tan. pure disgust. read more

Level 3 stand up! Always clean! Staff is helpful. Level 3 stand up leaves you with a lasting tan! Highly recommend!

This location has some of the best rates when it comes to memberships unlike some other tanning places in the area. There is no start up fee at all! :) They have a variety of lotions for you to choose from and they aren't at bad prices. The staff is very nice and helpful. if you are new and would like to see the different beds they offer they take you around and show you all of them. I have never had a bad experience with this location. This is my favorite location! read more

I have tried and tried to give this place a shot. Girl in the front desk is always rude, very off putting. I go in at least once a week never makes it seem like she remembers me, never smiles.. basically could care less. One time the machine froze. Never got my money back. I'm not coming here anymore. It's just not inviting. read more
