Let me tell you about my experience with them!! AWFUL!!! They didn't finish painting my big toe and I had paint on my hands! How did I have more paint on my hands than my actual nails?!?! Wtfff!! And then they try to charge an extra $5 to FIX THEIR MESS!!! It was so dirty, I left my coat there because I refused to wear it. Awful. Never again. read more

Got a shellac mani and regular pedicure and it is terrible! The salon is super gross and needs cleaning and I felt so awkward getting my nails done. Didn't ask me how I wanted my nails shaped or anything and cut them super short. Used his finger to wipe off excess nail polish. Got a pedicure and didn't get my cuticles pushed down at all, the guy was pushing into my feet with his nails so hard. Do not recommend! read more

my friends review: the shoppe was nice but the person who did my nails was super tough on me. he asked me super personal questions that made me feel uncomfortable. the lady who did the designs was nice and only asked me 1 personal question which I was fine with. The dude who did my nails also did a horrible job. They also look horrible. he he didn't even ask if it hurt and I feel like he knew it hurt. Also it's really hard to type and I've had 23 typos already. Also the nails costed $25!!!! No wonder they are so horrible! my personal rating would be a 3. my review: the shop was nice and the lady who did my nails was super kind and super gentle. Worst Gel manicure I have ever gotten, the technician was clueless, got gel all over my hands and proceeded to cure it that way, completely lax sanitation. I would never return. I had to go to a different nail salon the next day to try to repair the damage she has done to my nails. read more

Absolutely terrible. Got a mani and pedi, and literally none of the things you typically get happened. No hand/arm massage or lotion for the mani. The legs for the pedi were massaged for the least amount of time possible, just enough to get the sea salt to dissolve. Cuticles were not pushed back, nor was there any cleaning under the nails, mani and pedi both. I left with polish on my actual toes and one nail only half cut. They also harass you for cash or check and act like a credit card is the worst thing ever. The only reason I gave two stars vs one is that the French manicure that I got has nice, even whites...but that is the only nice thing I have to say. I probably could have done better paying a six year old to do it, because at least they'd smile. read more

I generally go to Nicole at Happy Nails or Samantha at Modern Nails in Midland, and I learned I shouldn't venture away from my norm. I tried L A Nails again after having not been there in quite a few years. I got a pedicure and shellac manicure. The pedicure was one of, if not THE, worse I've ever had. He filed my polish off with his dremel tool (I had shellac polish on my toes previously) and washed my feet with a hard sponge. That is IT. He then polished my toes. I had to ask for lotion to which he put it on, with no massage. Someone else did my manicure, and again a bad experience. I had a dip polish on my nails and he tried first to use a nail tip to pop it off and it was causing pain and I asked him to stop. He then had me soaking my nails to remove the dip polish. He gave up on soaking it off some of my nails and literally just painted the shellac over my existing dip polish after he filed it down as much as he could. Kept saying how 'natural' it would look. I again did not get any sort of clean up of my nails, no cuticle clean up, little filing and no massage / lotion. I would never recommend L A Nails to anyone looking for a nice place to have their nails done; and will not be going back! read more

do not go here. tony messed up my cuticles, the shape, size, angle, and design of my nails. not to mention 3 have broken off within a week, all of them broke right in the middle so i can't glue them back on. please do not waste your time here, modern nails on the other hand does amazing nails, go there instead. read more

Not friendly. Look mad when you walk in. Seem to argue about whose turn it is to wait on customers when they walk in. Made a lady wait for pedicure when I counted 3 employees who weren't doing anything but listening to their music and playing on their phones. I walked out before they got started. They also didn't have the color gel I selected and didn't even apologize. read more

I was not happy. Went in with long beautiful nails and instead of shaping them they cut them off!! Not very clean lotion bottle tops disgusting and they reuse the the litte foam things between your toes when you get a pedicure. read more

I came here only to take my client. When we walked in, there were towels everywhere so you couldn't sit down. I asked for a manicure for my client and they just looked at me like I wasn't speaking English. They immediately started talking to each other in a different language so I couldn't understand them. While my client was getting there nails done they were eating with there blue gloves on, and didn't change them till I said something (which is nasty.) They were not nice, didn't talk to us or even smile at all during my client getting there nails done. I would not recommend! Not happy with service. read more

Go every two months for a pedi due to ingrown toenails. Lucky or Tony both do a fantastic job. Everything gets cut but never breaks skin like other places. Even with sea scrub it is way better than foot doctor read more

I went there numerous times was happy the first two times went back a third time and got a guy who made my nails bleed, filed them so far done on the top of my nail that it burned me. Asked before I got them done for a design on my ring finger the lady told me yes that they could do that, then when I got to the end of it the guy tells me he doesn't do design. My nails look terrible to the point the white on my ring finger looks like it has been burnt and is discolored. The rest of my nails the color is already fading and chipping. Will not be going back EVER again and I highly recommend that no one else go there!! read more
