The Pineapple Bobo with coconut milk was another good one. Pineapple and boba worked surprisingly well together. Black Grape Cheese is still my go-to. I always get it with no sugar and it's honestly not sweet at all. Mango Sago is my husband's favorite. Even with no added sugar, it's still naturally sweet because the mango is so ripe. For fresh fruit tea in JC, this is still my favorite spot. Get the seasonal fruit drinks while they're available. And you might get lucky and see the cute guy working behind the counter.

I stumbled in with a hankering for a chai latte on a day walking around downtown JC and when I saw HG, it was an easy choice. While almost all cafes will make a chai latte, few do it better than Hidden Grounds. That was my only try for the visit, but I already know I love their pastries, specifically those rose donuts. They had a few tables that were all available and had no problem with me having my pup with me. Only good things to report. Get the chai!
