He was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and tremendously considerate of our home and property. The final result was amazing, and we couldn't be more pleased. Tree & Stump had grown around a steel pole, so it was a real mess. Pedro got all of the stump that he could out and did such a great job cleaning up the area. You almost couldn't tell anything had been there! They were here and gone in only 3 hours, so very efficient. Other companies take at least 4 -5 hours. Zach communicated well for scheduling as well as on the day the work was to be done regarding his arrival. They scheduled the grinding for another day so the cable/internet cable group could be called to put in a temporary line. They were excellent!…read more The first thing that made me want to use them is when Scott came out to look at my various fruit trees. I'd been told by other arborists that these trees needed trimming. When I asked Scott if my trees needed trimmed he asked, "Why?". He said they were fine as they were. That saved me a huge amount of money right there. He walked around the rest of my land giving good advice, and he didn't feel the need to do many things the other arborists wanted to do. This alone was even more money savings for me. Scott was very knowledgeable and so easy to work with. When we did decide what needed to be done, he sent out his crew who were very respectful and courteous. I had a tree cut down and other trees trimmed, and the crew cleaned up nicely so I didn't have extra debris on my yard. They were very efficient. I've done the same tree for 20 years now but I'm getting too painful to ladder up there and monkey around with this. Anyway Dan gave me a quote under $500. Came out quick and got it done. I got what I paid for. Quick and dirty. Only reason for less than 5 is that it took me some personal time to stand out there and point out all the uneven areas they missed - which if they had just stood back and had one guy pointing and one guy trimming to finish up - I'd not have to. Maybe they were done for the day and wanted to escape? I get it - me too :-) But it was a pretty bad haircut that really shouldn't have needed my intervention. However - I wanted them to leave with me satisfied - so I interjected. Although it was done back in February- It has since filled out perfectly and looks great and smaller like it should now. Soooo... Yes! I'd have them come back. But don't let them leave til your honest with them and it's right. They were respectful and cleaned up afterwards great. Nice guys.

I should have checked Yelp for reviews first. Called to have my stump ground and debris removed, so…read moreI don't have the conversation in writing. Scheduler only mentioned stump grind to their team so debris was not scheduled to clear. Crew came in today to do the job, all debris was left. Emailed staff for removal and Rick stated they would need to come another day and for another surcharge of the stump grind (Service was $454 and the quote to remove debris was an added $454 for a separate day total $908). Stump roots were left extruding 4inches above curb in some areas and a ton of root left over in general above the sidewalk level. Wouldn't have been a problem, but I have to either hire another company to get rid of roots right off the stump or buy a chainsaw which pretty much defeats the purpose of hiring someone. Called for NW Tree Specialists, but they said they were absorbed by SavATree
