He was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and tremendously considerate of our home and property. The final result was amazing, and we couldn't be more pleased. I'd been told by other arborists that these trees needed trimming. When I asked Scott if my trees needed trimmed he asked, "Why?". He said they were fine as they were. That saved me a huge amount of money right there. He walked around the rest of my land giving good advice, and he didn't feel the need to do many things the other arborists wanted to do. This alone was even more money savings for me. Scott was very knowledgeable and so easy to work with. When we did decide what needed to be done, he sent out his crew who were very respectful and courteous. The present job involved trimming and proper pruning a weeping cherry tree, our neighbor's very overgrown Leland Cypress coming over into our yard, and heavily trimming a giant snowbell hydrangea. He gave us thoughtful ideas on what we needed, assured me he wouldnt kill my favorite hydrangea and then took the time to come to our rear yard and look over two additional projects, which he also gave us bids on. All the information was clear and useful, and the bids werent necessarily cheap (but taking down 200+foot trees isnt going to be) but they were reasonable, and I like that they are actual certified arborists, not just tree trimmers. The work was started on time, beautifully done and the two gentlemen cleaned up every bit of debris and clipping.
