The homework is substantial, the tests and quizzes are challenging, and the teachers expect a lot from the kids. It's not easy to get into this school (lottery and waiting lists) but it's every bit worth the effort. My kids will both graduate from here probably more capable than I was when I graduated college. Many of the retired teachers are "STILL" active and clearly invested in the school and students. What I was really impressed by, were the students. They were clearly intelligent, but they were genuinely polite and respectful. It was so incredibly refreshing!! It's diverse, inclusive and an A+ rated school. It is one of only two schools in the state to receive this award five times. My children love this school.
