I felt welcomed by the entire staff and everyone made my daughter feel comfortable while touring the classrooms. Casa has been an ENCOURAGING, FUN AND SAFE environment for my daughter. The teachers and staff have been kind, understanding and attentive to us throughout our entire time. Here are some of my thoughts: [Location] We ABSOLUTELY love the location! The school is beautifully designed to honor the Montessori values (Outdoor learning, gardening, etc.) The classrooms are setup to foster rigorous, self-motivated growth for our children in all areas of their development. The shops and restaurants close by are very kid friendly. My daughter is regular at Bottle & Bean. And, parents make an effort to get together there for coffee, etc. [Staff + Teachers] The teachers go above and beyond to ensure that our kids feel seen, safe, treated with kindness and are developing at their natural pace. My daughter has improved SO much in math, writing and Spanish since attending Casa. I cannot tell you enough how her teachers have truly been invested in her development. She is sent home with reading and math practices daily. It is important to HIGHLIGHT that my daughter understands and speaks Spanish. As parents we are strongly encouraged to work with our children at home to build on what they learn at school. [Families] I have met some of THE BEST parents at Casa Del Niño. We honor, respect and love all of our backgrounds. Many of us work to keep our kids connected outside of school because they genuinely love and care for one another. [Student Engagement] Our kids are celebrated every year when teachers host a "celebration of life" to honor their birthdays. It is one of the most thoughtful experiences my daughter has ever had at any school. The kids get to participate in it which is think is a great way to deepen their appreciation for one another. Last fall (2022) we had an AMAZING fall festival and where all students, staff and families got together for face painting, crafts, donations (created peace packs to hand out to those in need), outdoor play, a photo booth AND MORE! The teachers go ABOVE AND BEYOND to thoroughly and respectfully celebrate all cultures and ethnicities. This was important for me as a Black parent raising a Black child. I love the student and family engagement! Casa Del Niño is THE Spanish Immersion Montessori to school to attend. All of my questions, ideas and concerns have always been addressed promptly, kindly, and handled with care. We love it here and I believe you will too!

It's a small and intimate setting, allowing the teachers to really focus on each of the kids individual needs and interests. Isabella has zest for teaching children how to perform tasks on their own and learn to be independent. She has an abundance of knowledge in the Montessori ways, and truly is so passionate about educating and developing each of the children. She genuinely cares, which you don't see that often these days. Always available to me if I have questions or concerns and willing to give different ideas or approaches to teaching our child. The school was also very helpful in potty training my daughter, keeping me informed about any happenings throughout the day regarding her progress/ struggles. Very thankful for all they have helped my daughter with and the incredible progress she's made since attending this school. No doubt she is ahead of most kids her age, with the assistance of Isabella and her gracious team.

She cares about the progress of our child and has given us great feedback when we have met during our parent teacher conference's. The facility is organized and clean. Isabella has also planted a beautiful garden for the children to learn and explore on a daily basis. They have a rather large outside play area, so the children can enjoy the outdoors. My daughter was potty trained there as well which you will not find at most schools. I would highly recommend Little People Montessori!!!

We cannot recommend Spondeo Montessori Preschool & K-3 enough. My son attended for three years, and…read morethe impact this school has had on his growth is truly invaluable. During a season of complex family dynamics, the staff showed exceptional kindness, understanding, and professionalism. They provided a safe, stable, and deeply nurturing environment where my son was able to thrive during some of the most important early childhood developmental years. The Montessori approach to child-led learning was beautifully implemented. Beyond academics, my son gained incredible life skills... gardening, cleaning, food preparation, understanding personal space, and practicing etiquette. These practical skills built his confidence and independence in ways that extend far beyond the classroom. Today, he is thriving both socially and academically, and I credit so much of that foundation to his time at Spondeo. The director Andrea is one of the most kind, child-centered, and professional women I have ever met. She runs the school exceptionally well and is highly involved in the daily life of the students and teachers. You can truly feel her heart for children in everything the school does. We are so grateful for our time there and would wholeheartedly recommend Spondeo to any family looking for a nurturing, enriching Montessori education.

The care and attention he received in the infant room were exceptional, with the staff always providing individualized care (like easing him into the day with his favorite basket of balls), even sending us photos and updates throughout the day, which put our minds at ease. Now that he has transitioned to the toddler room, we continue to be impressed by how much he is learning and growing. The Montessori approach has truly supported his natural curiosity and independence. Whether it's through sensory activities, practical life exercises, or outdoor play, we see him thriving and hitting key developmental milestones like learning to communicate better (thank you sign language) and developing fine motor skills. The staff is loving, patient, and genuinely invested in each child's development, always encouraging his progress while keeping us closely informed about his day-to-day experiences. The facilities are clean, safe, and thoughtfully designed to create a warm and stimulating environment for the children. We also appreciate how the school fosters a sense of community among families, hosting events and providing resources that allow us to feel even more connected to our child's learning journey. When we were looking at daycares we considered other Montessori-based daycares (some independently owned and some franchise), and we're so glad that we chose Spondeo! We found that the franchise based Montessori daycares felt more adjacent to a regular daycare and didn't offer the same level of independence and problem-solving that we offer at home. Spondeo does such a great job respecting our child's abilities! We couldn't be happier with the level of communication, support, and involvement the staff maintains with us as parents. We highly recommend Spondeo Montessori to any parents looking for a nurturing, educational, and enriching daycare environment for their child. It has been the perfect fit for our family!

The teachers here are incredibly well-trained in nurturing and guiding kids aged 1-4, and I can see the results every day. One of the biggest milestones for us has been potty training. My daughter is getting the support she needs at school, and it's clicking! She comes home so happy and fulfilled, singing, dancing, and playing. I was initially so worried about putting her in daycare, as she was a Velcro baby and would always scream when she wasn't with me. But the environment is so warm and welcoming that she quickly became comfortable and now loves going to school. What makes this place truly special is the variety of enriching activities. My daughter helps take care of the chickens, tends the organic garden, and enjoys reading, drawing, dancing, and playing with her friends. The magic these teachers create in their classrooms is truly amazing--they know just how to care for my baby girl, and I feel so lucky to have found them. I also love how transparent and communicative the school is. I receive daily text message updates, so I always know what's going on with my daughter, which gives me so much peace of mind. The school worked with us on our budget and schedule, and I really appreciate how upfront they are with pricing and schedules on their website--no hidden surprises. Ms. Jennifer, the owner, made us feel like family from day one, and I'm so grateful for the warm, nurturing environment she's created. I honestly feel like we hit the jackpot with this preschool. It's the best possible place for our daughter, and I would recommend it to any parent looking for a magical, loving environment where their child can grow and thrive!

I first heard about The Little Garden Schoolhouse in May 2016 when they had their seasonal…read morecommunity seed exchange event. At the time my spirited preschool daughter was attending a local STEM school, and while it was a good school - I didn't feel that she was supported and she wasn't thriving to her full potential... Enter Jennifer Valverde When I met Jennifer (Owner & visionary of LGS) it was immediately discernable the amount of care, passion, ENTHUSIASM and knowledge she was bringing to the table in the locally wide world of preschools. I made the decision to enroll both my 2 year old and my then 5 year old daughters into LGS - I can happily say I never looked back. Enrolling at LGS was a real game changer for our family, both of my girls felt supported, a home away from home. They grew and fostered relationships with the other students, Ms. Jennifer and staff. They developed an appreciation for recycling & composting, their love for yoga deepened as it is a different experience for them to partake in yoga with their peers rather than at home with their Mom. At this age a child's real work is learning to be in this big world and learning that there are others as well to work & play well with, a lesson I think some adults tend to forget. I love the snack system at LGS -and I am always peeking in to garner new ideas myself. The children -even the toddlers join at the community table and help each other with their chairs and passing utensils and plates around. As far as "meat" not offered as an option during snack -I myself have never witnessed meat offered as a snack to students at other preschools -and I would be concerned if it were "how is the meat handled" and such. As far as vitamin nutrition is concerned -this begins at home -as a parent it our own responsibility to ensure our children receiving the most out of their diets and supplements that we provide. All else is gravy. Amongst the veritably gorgeous food forest I see a plethora of butterflies and wild parakeets swooping around amongst the pine and sunflowers.
