So they move quickly. My surgeon was Dr. Royer who was INCREDIBLE every time. I would show up 15-20 minutes before my appointment time and over the course of 4 months, my visit was normally finished at or very shortly after my actual appointment time. Usually, I barely had a chance to complete my check-in forms before they were calling me back. Not that I ever want to experience this injury again but I bragged to family and friends all the time about the VIP service I was getting. The waiting room is very comfortable and they have a wide selection of coffee and tea flavors to choose from. Without question, if I need an orthopedic surgeon again in the future, I'm going back to this clinic and hopefully, Dr. Royer is still practicing.

Even when surgery is unwarranted, they still recommend it. So, I held out without seeing a doctor while suffering from a bum shoulder from falling off a motorcycle. Ugh. Finally, I had to drag my butt in to the doctor. The pain was unbearable. Surprisingly, Dr. Paschal did NOT recommend surgery. He recommended physical therapy. After 8 sessions with the therapist (a different office & different practitioner), I am now 95% better. Hopefully, I will be 100% better in a couple more weeks. Dr. Paschal truly wants to help you. He is not a surgery pusher. He only recommends surgery if it is needed. He is also very good at diagnosing with only a couple of x-rays. He doesn't necessarily need a CAT scan. CAT scans are very bad for you as they are equivalent of a dozen or more X-rays.

When I told her to preface my last name with "Mr" she laughed and ignored it. All the women on the staff act like they're at a pajama party. They cluster in the hall, laughing and joking. The x-ray women are especially creepy -- they kept putting their hands on me until I told them to stop. These people simply are not well-trained and Dr. Lo doesn't feel the need to improve them. My primary care physician, my dentist, even my veterinarian all have competent, professional staff who are a pleasure to work with. I cannot understand why Dr. Lo tolerates this trashy behavior in his highly-specialized practice.
