I was greeted when I came in, and on my way out I ran into an employee who was surveying the store with a grin on his face who was sure to ask me how my day was going and thanked me for stopping by. Yes, this is a BP gas station, but it definitely feels more like a neighborhood corner store. Jim's also gets a million bonus points for having a spotless bathroom that is far and away the nicest gas station bathroom I've ever encountered in my entire life. Finding a place a little off the beaten path reaps rewards!

For how crazy and hectic the Dells can be, this store has always been clean and well-organized. It's definitely a larger Walgreens location and they've got a little bit of everything. In addition to the typical selection of groceries there is a decent selection of grab-and-go food as well. Prices seem normal despite being in the center of a town filled with tourist traps and they've got a drive-thru pharmacy for your convenience. If you need an array of items but don't want to brave a big-box superstore Walgreens would be a solid bet.

She became very snooty and apprehensive explaining that she would only take back the product if manufactured by the Walgreens store itself. This is clearly untrue and incorrect because I have returned multiple products in multiple Walgreens in the past by producing the credit card I purchased the item with. Maybe she was having a bad day. Not sure why she is telling customers incorrect information regarding the return policy for the Walgreens chain of stores. Will return the product at another more reputable Walgreens that does not hold contempt against their customers!

We were in the Lake Delton area…read more We needed some cocktail fixings for our vacation. In searching liquor stores, we found that there was a store titled the BWP Liquor Expo. A Liquor Expo? This had to be experienced. And, so we made our way here. It is a robust, larger liquor store. Exposition? Possibly? Large for a usual liquor store? Definitely. They had plenty to choose from. We were in the market for some scotch and drambuie (rusty nails, here we come). We found both. The server was kind and the prices were about average. The store was easy enough to navigate if a bit haphazard (neatly stocked linear lines, it was not). It was a little worn in that way that liquor stores can sometimes be (Discount Liquor in Milwaukee, I'm looking at you) that makes it feel like a true mom and pop kinda shop. All in all, they had a nice selection at a decent price. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area. Get to it!

Upon entering there is always a "deal of the day" on some type of meal, which has saved the day for some dinners. The bakery selection is pretty decent; you'll always find great dinner rolls, Italian breads, quality buns for cookouts, delicious pies and treats. The produce section is well-stocked and the best in towns far as quality. There is always someone enthusiastic in produce willing to help and frequently will offer to let you try fruits that are limited or seasonal and give information about the new additions. Pre-cut fruits and veggies available, as well as trays for gatherings. Something is always on special in produce. There's always someone stocking or behind the meat counter to help, which is great and saves time. It's best to watch for sales on the shelf items because Festival is the pricier one in town for those -that is my only reason for four stars. It's better for us to go to Festival for produce and deli but our receipt adds up fast when we go for our dry goods. Great selection of local ice creams, have to love that in Wisconsin! Decent liquor selection and always someone to help you out with a great attitude. Not a large floral department but there's a modest selection of fresh cut flowers and plants that have lasted me a long time. They added some self checkout in the last year to help with avoiding long lines, which has been a great addition. Both the long-time cashiers and the ones in training are always efficient and friendly. This Festival hires young staff members on their team and do a wonderful job choosing their applicants as they do a great job making conversion and being efficient. Overall it's the freshest store in town with great service! Side notes; lots of parking, they do pretty well on keeping the carts stocked as well. It's convenient that they have umbrellas to use to get to your car if it starts raining and return at the front!

There is jerky kits for the do it your self people along with cheeses, hot sauces, Bloody Mary mixers, candy, condiments, crickets etc. This is a little more than just a jerky store and definitely worth checking out. I wanted to try something that I probably will not see in my daily travels so it was down to the kangaroo or ostrich with the ostrich log/stick going home with me. Yah it's definitely a Dells tourist thing but it's still pretty cool and worth stopping by.

I feel slightly bad giving such a bad review but if the owner is going to have such horrible people on staff, then it's deserved. The girl working seemed like we were inconveniencing her because she was glued to her phone but she did give us the samples we asked for... reluctantly. Our 8 year old daughter told us in the store that "the girl behind the counter keeps making faces and rolling her eyes at me" so we told her to just ignore it and stop looking at her. We purchased 3 bags of jerky and a dog treat totaling almost $40 which is an amazing deal for jerky. We leave and our 8 year old starts bawling instantly telling us that the girl behind the counter flipped her off when we walked out. WHAT?! My husband went back in with our daughter to confront her and she of course denied it. "I would never do that" with a smart ass smirk on her face. We drove off and the more I thought about it, it enraged me. Even if our daughter was staring at her, what "adult" person flips off a child. Grow up and maybe don't work retail in a TOURIST TOWN FULL OF KIDS. Reading the reviews online, there are multiple accounts of the same behavior happening. I drove back and told her I want a refund for everything because I'm not supporting a business that hires such horrible people. She once again said "I didn't do it". Like my 8 year old is gonna make up a random lie and cry about it. The fuck??! I got the refund with no argument which is very telling. If I were the owner, I'd check back on the cameras instead of listening to their lying ass employee.

They also have quality foods, including refrigerated items, that a lot of vegans say good things about. The spacey new store layout is very airy and products well-labeled.
