There was a Costco gas station that we had stopped at on our outbound drive and I intended to go there. But a quick check of gas prices in that general area found that this Speedway station was only a few cents per gallon more and it was right off the Interstate; Costco was a few miles off of our route. So we stopped at This Speedway. Like our experiences with other Speedway locations, this one was roomy around the pumps making it easy to pull up to any available gas pump, the prices were very competitive even compared to Costco, they had a mini mart with hot & cold drinks, a variety of hot dogs and sandwiches, a good variety of snacks, and clean restrooms!

It's more ideal to park at the gas pump since there's not really parking spots but it's a great place to stop at for something small. It's got clean restrooms and very friendly staff. Could be locally, everyone knows access road means entrance, but that has a different meaning for us. Now we know. Gas prices are competitive to low while the shop prices seem a bit high but could be right in line with the local economy. No way for me to know. Pumps are automated, have a card scanner so you don't have to insert and had receipt paper. Gassed up and on our way. Close to the I-90 on/off ramps.

Even if it's only a stop to inspect the men's room, I know I can count on KT to be clean and welcoming. Almost all Kwik Trip stores are laid out with a similar floor plan, there are a  few different floor plans depending on the footprint of the store and  when it was built. Some are mirror images of one another, which I refer  to as left hand stores and right hand stores, depending on which way you  turn to approach the cash registers. This is a left hand store. When you go into the store,  you'll get that feeling of Deja vu, which is exactly what the owners  want you to feel. This store is newer so it uses the newer floor plan. Karuba Coffee, Dunkers, doughnuts, and hot foods  are straight back. Rest rooms are on the far end, take a right at the  cooler. Lottery forms are back there, too, for processing at the  registers. The no-fee ATMs are to your right as you enter the store. Out on the gas island, you'll find Unleaded, Unleaded Plus, Unleaded Premium, E-85, and Diesel #2. The store and car wash is 24/7. Car Wash? Yes, it's across the street in a separate building. If you happen to drive an 18-wheeler, there is a separate truck fueling station. It's easy in and easy out with no silly roundabouts to come through. You'll find Diesel #2 and Premium Diesel. This is a nearly complete auto and truck plaza, the car wash is across the street. It's a complete convenience store with sandwiches, coffee and soft drinks and almost anything you could need in the coolers, freezers and food gondolas. Like all Kwik Trips, the bakery all comes from La Crosse and it's pretty good. It's everything you've come to expect in a Kwik Trip and a whole lot more.

I was pleasantly surprised that they have a lot of food items - pizza, burger, sandwich, chicken wings, donuts, milk shakes etc. I got quite a lot of items. Price was cheap. Spicy queso and steak and cheese rolls had good flavors. Chicken wild rice soup and cilli soup were both ok soups. Crispy chicken sandwich and spicy chicken sandwich were both good sandwiches. Chicken tenders and potato wedges were good as well. Blueberry and longjohn donuts were ok. PB cup milkshake was a decent milkshake. Overall no outstanding food items. But for the price it was all good.
