I hated it…read more BUT here in Canon if we didn't have it, we would have to drive an hour to either Pueblo or Colo Springs to get stuff. This one is fine. It is mostly neat and well kept. They took out 80% of their manned cashier lanes and put in TONS of self check lanes (which, honestly I don't mind). I have gotten vaccinations at the Pharmacy and their staff is always friendly, but the Pharmacy always has a long line no matter when I go. And if you make an appointment for a vaccine know that it means nothing, they will do it when they have time (which is often and hour after you made the appointment). They do work hard and are professional, just a little understaffed. Bakery does good work. I have ordered cakes there and they always turn out well and taste great (love the whipped icing). The grocery pick up is the only thing that I would give 1 star. I have had them not bag items and just throw them in the back of my truck!? Twice I got home and found that the cleaning solution I bought didn't have the lid on tight and poured all over my groceries and bed of truck - they did refund all damaged food. And they have tons of problems with their "system" or so they say. I have had orders not ready on time (and ready hours later). Also have checked in to pick up after getting a "your order is ready for pick up" and had to wait 30+ minutes. I actually had to stop using it, it was so bad. So it is what it is. Mostly fine!

There were also fruit flies around the produce section, which made the area feel unsanitary. On top of that, the checkout experience was very unpleasant. The clerks were rude and unprofessional, which made the situation even worse. Customer service is a huge part of any shopping experience, and unfortunately that was completely lacking here. Their bathrooms were out of order also and when we asked for the keys the staff were extremely rude about it. I had to leave the store and change my infant in my vehicle because there was nowhere for me to take her mid shopping to change her. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves both the cleanliness of the store and the professionalism of the staff.

Then an angel appeared named Genevive, she helped me stopped the bleeding, went and returned with a first aid kit, she wrapped my finger and then gave me a hug. Was on my way to the pharmacy which was also a most pleasant experience, was still a little shaken from the cut so i did not get her name, but sweet as pie. Not to mention the plant department. Have gone 5 times between 1 pm & 3 pm and they have been out of fried chicken to make the 2 pc dark meat combo. Today 6/12/25 at 2:15 they had no chicken for our combo and told us it would be 35 to 40 minutes for them to make more! That's an unacceptable excuse and terrible management. If you knew that you were that close on the dark meat fried chicken then you need to put some in 25 minutes prior to that. then I asked for a side order of coleslaw and they said "nope it's all gone.". I fail to understand how this can happen repeatedly in the span of two months. Somebody needs to get in there and train so that customers are not turned away. It's very very discouraging..
