I went to Big Bear liquor to purchase a bottle of scotch for my son's birthday . The sales receipt…read moresaid the purchase was made by a clerk named Ben. He took me back into a locked room and showed me a couple different bottles of scotch and handed me one bottle. I asked to look at the bottle he pulled the bottle out of the box by the handle, when he got to the registry he couldn't find the bottle in the inventory and he got upset, and then he handed it over to a female clerk to sell it to me. and when I gave the bottle of scotch to my son for his birthday it actually had been opened. The seal was broke, and some of the scotch was gone. I believe the man knew the bottle was tampered with and sold it to me anyway.!!!I took the bottle back and the young gentleman gave me my money back on the bottle of scotch, but they can't give me my nice day, my son's birthday present and the happiness of the day back.

I moved to Eagle ridge neighborhood about 6 months ago and never tried this place until last week…read moreof December. I have always shopped at Spanky's or Village Liquors but this place beat both of them in terms of prices. This is a family owned business and the surprising thing is they all seem to stay in the store until its closed or at least 10 pm when I went in. I talked to them and it seems they moved here pretty recently and took over this place. There was this young man who seems to be the son is very knowledgeable and told me all the great offers that are going on in their store right now. Bottom Line: Give it a shot if you are in the neighborhood. I am yet to go to Big Bear Liquor store rated very high by some of the people in my network.
